Third Persons POV

The sun slowly crept over the horizon, covering the land with sunlight and soaking it in warmth. The array of colors that painted the sky were equally as beautiful as the night before; this all visible from a large castle window. What was truly beautiful was inside that window for once. Two bodies lay intertwined with complete content. Sound asleep as the kingdom rested a while longer before the birds started to wake the villagers; indicating them to begin the days work. 

The sight of those two bodies that lay inside that window would, under normal circumstances, be described as a beautiful moment sculpted by heavens angels themselves; for the two were bound completely by love. Instead many of the kingdom's citizens would have been horrified by even the idea of the sight; especially the king himself. But hidden in that room away from prying eyes the two boys who were so undoubtedly different but also similar could do as they pleased.

Joey's POV

Sunlight bled into my eyes causing me to open them before quickly closing them again in discomfort. I tried to roll over before I realized I couldn't move. I opened my eyes again in confusion and was surprised to see a boy practically latched onto me. I stared at his soft, dark hair and face which looked so peaceful and kind as memories of yesterday flowed into my brain. I smiled as I now remembered the cause of my current situation. I continued to watch Daniel, as creepy as it sounds, he looked kinder in his sleep as if the cruel, harsh reality of the world hadn't touched him yet. As if his life wasn't filled with mystery, heartbreak and uncertainty. Soon his eyelids began to flutter.

Daniel's POV

I opened my eyes still half asleep and was quite shocked to be met with another pair of eyes very close and staring at me. I wasn't really complaining; they were very beautiful and familiar, I was just confused. I would have been afraid in the situation and I was a bit at first but the eyes were full of kindness and compassion, maybe even love? I finally remembered why these eyes looked familiar and who the belonged to and I smiled up at the boy beside me and press my face into his toned chest.

Joey- Good morning handsome.

I pulled my head out to look at him again.

Daniel- Morning.

I whispered before snuggling back into his chest. I inhaled deeply taking in his breathtaking scent, he smelled of pine trees with a hint of vanilla. Musky yet sweet.

Daniel- You smell yummy.

Joey- Strange.. complement.. I'll take it.. I guess? You do too.

He said digging his face into my hair and taking in a big, loud sniff. We both giggled. I swear we are twelve year old girls or something.

Joey- So what do you want to do today sweeetie?

He said dragging out the e.

Daniel- I have no idea. What do you want to do today sweeeeeeeetie?

I replied dragging out the e even more.

Joey- Well we could go cliff jumping, deep sea diving, try snails, fight some mountain lions bare handed...

Daniel- As amazing as all of that sounds I was thinking something even crazier.

Joey- Like what? Tell my dad we're together?

He said sarcastically and we both laughed. I brought my face away from his chest a bit so we could look at each other.

Daniel- Maybe not quite that crazy. I want to sneak out the market.

I said hopefully and he looks surprised.

Joey- Why the market?

Daniel- Because I've never been before.

Joey- Why didn't you go when you were younger with your adoptive parents?

Daniel- We usually avoided going places where a lot of people would be as a family. There was always a chance attention could be drawn to us and we could be caught so only one of them would go at a time and they would never bring me.

Joey- I've never really been before either. My father would always send people to go.

Daniel- Well then we need to go!

Joey- Well first I need to have a bath, do you want one as well?

Daniel- What's a bath?

Joey- A bath? You know when you bathe in water to get clean?

Daniel- Oh yeah. I do that down in the river, wont it take to long to go all the way down there and still have time to go to the market?

Joey- What? You bathe in the river?

Daniel- Yes of course, all of the villagers do. Where do you bathe?

Joey- In my bathroom, in a bath.

Daniel- I thought those were a myth.

Joey- No silly, come on I'll show you.

I pull the blanket off both of us, stand up and immediately regret it as the cold air surrounds me.

Daniel- Ah! So cold!

Daniel said because I uncovered him as well.

Joey- Come on, up you get.

I said pulling him up into me, giving him a big warm hug. I release him from the embrace and walk us to my bathroom and show him the bath.

Daniel- This is a bath? It looks a lot nicer than the river.

Joey- Yeah it's a lot warmer too. Alright i'll fill it up for you and then while you're having a bath i'll pick out some clothes for us both. Then i'll have a bath and after that we can go to the market, how does that sound?

Daniel- Perfect. 

After I filled up the bath I left the bathroom so he could get undressed and have a bath.

Daniel- Omg it's so warm and nice! It's like a liquid hug!

I heard Daniel say from the bathroom. I laughed and went over to my closet to pick out some clothes that we can wear. I picked out a burgundy sweater for me and a charcoal one for him then black pants for both of us. I topped mine off with a tan colored coat and for him a navy coat since it was cold outside. Then I picked out a few other things like underwear. Then I waited for him to finish.

Daniel- Joey, I'm finished.

I walked over to the bathroom and knocked. He opened the door with just a towel wrapped around his waist and I struggled to keep eye contact as passed him his clothes before he closed the door again to get changed. Once he was changed he came out looking as handsome as ever.

Joey- You look so handsome.

Daniel- Thanks sweeeeetie.

I couldn't help giving him a peck on the cheek before going and having my bath. Once I was finished and dressed I grabbed some money and we climbed back out the window to the balcony and down the vine. 

We were on our way to the market.
