No... No, not in that way.... *Sigh*

===================================================

Leo ran his fingers through his hair, the rough metal of the Gauntlets scraping slightly against his scalp. He took a seat at the Mahogany Desk in his Room, and he was a bit surprised to see that the Fireplace still had a Strong, Burning Flame inside.

He sighed, crossing his arms and resting his chin on his desk.

He kinda got himself in a Mess, didn't he? With this whole 'I met a Dragon and she's outstanding, but she's still a dragon, so it's very much a Problem' Situation.

A Firm Knock broke him out of his Silent Contemplation, and he quickly sat up, turning towards the door.

"You may Enter." Leo called out, sounding as firm as he hoped he did.

The Silver Knob on his Door turned quickly, and the large, Oak Door creaked open.

His Oldest Brother, Xander, stepped in, bringing a Sense of Commandment and Honor with him as he closed the door firmly behind him.

"Leo. I wish to speak with you if you'll pardon my Invasiveness..."

Leo shook his head slightly. "I lend my ear, Brother. What is it?"

Xander let out a Stress-filled Sigh, and Leo could sense that something was really pulling at the edges of Xander's Mind, begging the Crown Prince to let it into his Conscious.

"I must speak with you about Father."

Leo tilted his head slightly, hearing his Brother's Concern practically pouring from his voice at the mere mention of the Nohrian King. "Father? What about him?"

Xander clasped his hands into tight fists and covered his mouth, slowly beginning to pace back and forth in front of Leo's Bed.

"His words have been concerning me, as of late. I've often found him mumbling to himself late into the nights, and he's been issuing the most Worrisome of Commands to me."

Leo frowned deeply. "Such as...?"

Xander sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes tightly.

"He commanded that I take a Small Army and go off to slay a Dragon that is supposedly terrorizing the Northern Mountains between Hoshido and Nohr. He claimed that Local Villages in that Area were complaining and worried about it... But when I looked at all of Claims that have come in recently, a Dragon Report was among none of them. The most Troublesome One was a Bandit Fort that had taken refuge near Cheve."

Leo's Heart tightened and he could feel himself begin to sweat.

Father already knew about (Y/n).

"A... Dragon?" Leo asked cautiously, afraid to make his Brother suspicious.

"Yes, precicely," Xander continued to speak, not even breaking rhythm.

"Yet Dragons no longer exist..." Xander muttered to himself, staring intently at Leo's Maroon Flooring. Sighing, Xander looked up towards the window where (Y/n) was, a Dragon, just minutes ago. "I'm starting to fear for him. I worry that the Stresses of the Crown and War are falling hard upon him, and that is making him delusional. Perhaps even Psychotic..."

A Small Knock interrupted Xander's Unlassoed Train of Thoughts.

"Enter." Leo spoke loudly.

A Maid immediately walked in, bowing politely to Leo and Xander. She wore the Black and White Maid Outfit, with her Long Brown Hair braided into two braids and set over her shoulders, with Purple Streaks here and there. Purple Ribbons kept her hair in these Braids, and she had Sea Green Eyes that showed a little fear when she saw Leo and Xander having a Conversation.

"M-My Most Sincere Apologies, Milords! I do hope I am not intruding..." She quickly spoke, her voice small and cracking as she quickly bowed again. "Nevermind that," Leo said, turning fully towards her. "What is your Business?" Turning towards Leo, she politely clasped her hands in front of her as she began speaking. "I've a message from Lord Garon to you, Lord Leo. He demands that you go to the Palace of Izumo and dispose of a Traitor, the Illusionist Mage, Zola. He is proving to be a Weak Link in Lord Garon's Forces, as Milord puts it, and wishes for you to take his life."

Leo tilted his head slightly. "And why has my Father not told me this himself?"

The Maid lowered her head as she spoke again. "He has left the Castle, Milord. He is no longer on the Premises."

Both Xander and Leo raised an eyebrow at that.

"Alright. You are dismissed." Leo suddenly spoke, breaking the short silence.

The Maid bowed, not bothering to speak again as she let herself out of the room, closing the door securely behind her.

"It was only a matter of time before Zola's Life had to end..." Leo muttered quietly, fastening the buckles around his Gauntlet. He turned his attention towards Xander, who had become oddly fascinated with a Crack in Leo's Door. "And what will you do, Brother? Father asked you to hunt down and kill a Dragon... Will you go through with it?" Leo put extra emphasis on the word 'Dragon', trying to make himself sound skeptical about the whole thing.

Xander let out a sigh, a sigh that held heavy stress and wild thoughts behind it.

"No, I'll not. I'm not going to go around, chasing illusions like some playtoy when we have a War to handle. These Illusions have not a Speck of Truth to be seen to them, and I'll not direct my attention to them any longer."

Leo internally let out a sigh of relief.

Xander quickly turned towards Leo, the Stern Look in his Face and in his Posture almost making Leo flinch.

"And when will you depart towards Izumo?"

"As soon as possible." Leo spoke quickly, with no hesitation as he stood up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Izumo was known by many as "The Land of the Gods", and for good reason. The Small Kingdom held an Earthly, Serene Atmosphere, and one immediately felt at ease as soon as they passed through their Borders.
But, Leo was not here to seek inner peace. He was here to dispose of a Traitor.
However, something left Leo immediately concerned as he set his eyes on the Palace of Izumo.
The Place was enveloped into a Battle. A Battle with Hoshidan Forces.
Leo cringed visibly at this. He knew... Corrin was probably the one leading these troops... He wasn't expecting Corrin to be here...
The grip on his Reins tightened, and he spurred his Horse into a Full Speed Run towards the Palace. He wasn't going to turn back just because that traitor was here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Corrin stood at full height as she twirled her Yato Blade expertly in her hand, her Hoshidan Sisters right behind her.

"Game Over, Zola. Now tell us where you're keeping Izana!"

Zola let out a few pitiful coughs. "Urk..." He glared up towards Corrin, a Sly Smirk lining his features.

"No..."

Corrin's Eyes widened, and one could see that the Grip on her Legendary Blade tightened signifigantly. "What do you mean, no? You're beaten!"

Zola loudly scoffed at her, his grin widening. "Oh my. How naive you are. What a Sheltered Life you've lived! I'd rather die than give you ANYTHING. Luckily, I won't have to."

And with one last loud grunt, he quickly cast a Spell towards Corrin and her Units, causing her and everyone else to cough violently.

"Gah! He's using some kind of Smoke Screen!" Corrin exclaimed loudly in-between coughs.

"Bingo!" Zola called out, a bit too cheerfully. "Until next time, fools!" And with that, Zola began to run.

Leo had seen enough. With one flick of his wrist, a Mighty Tree quickly enveloped him in Branches, and he became completely trapped.

"GYAAAH! Ow, ow, ow..." Zola cired out loudly, even sounding pathetic in this state. "What are you doing? Let me go!"

Leo walked towards Zola, making himself known to all the Members of the Room now, and forcing himself to not even look in Corrin's Direction.

"No."

He heard Corrin gasp behind him. "Leo! What are you doing here?"

'Ignore her,' he told himself.

'She's no longer a Person to you. She cares about you no longer.' He reminded himself.

"Ah, Zola." Leo spoke, keeping his attention away from Corrin. "You've embarrased our Kingdom for the last time."

Zola's Eyes visibly widened. "Milord! Please, you don't mean that... I was just attempting to preserve my dignity."

Leo scoffed at him on that. "Dignity? What would you know about that?" He raised his Spell Tome, and he could automatically feel the power begin Surging inside of him.

"You're done here." He quietly hissed out to Zola.

The pathetic fool began screaming before Leo even made a move.

"Leo, what are you going to do?" Corrin spoke, sounding curious like she always did.

Don't look at her... Don't look at her...

"Zola is a monster. I'm going to make the world a better place." He spoke sharply, refusing to even turn his head.

"But he's one of your own!" She exclaimed, and he could hear her take a few steps forward. "I refuse to believe you'd harm a fellow Nohrian."

That's when Leo made the mistake to look at her.

She was a Traitor.

She didn't give Leo so much as a second glance that fateful day that she discovered her past.

But it still stung.

Oh, it still hurt so painfully.

Her Amber Eyes. Her Curled, Silver Hair.

Every part of her stared Leo right in the face, and gave him a hard smack into a Reality he desperately hoped would never exist.

That wasn't his sister in front of him. That was a Hoshidan Commander.

Something inside of Leo's Mental Fortitude made him just... slightly snap.

"Why should I listen to a traitor like you? You abandoned us! You have no right telling me what to do!"

"Leo... please." She whimpered out, and Leo despised it.

"Ugh, fine!" Leo yelled, making Corrin visibly flinch. "Keep this pitiful fool if you like him so much!" He glared towards Corrin, and he desperately wished he had the strength to just dispose of her right then and there. "Good-bye, Corrin. When the time is right, you'll pay for what you've done."

He didn't wait for her response. He spurred his Armored Companion into a Full Speed Run, bolting as fast as he could out of the Open Doors.

He could still hear her behind him...

"Leo, wait! It doesn't have to be this way..."

But Leo no longer cared about what she had to say anymore.

At least... That's what he told himself.
