Danny POV

It had been six days and I could walk now, so I stood up and traveled to the kitchen.
I looked over to the table, only to see Thomas and Bloddie laughing. I'm glad they're getting on.

Thomas POV

" Come on, you and Jimmy were honestly going to have that at your wedding. How can I stay serious?" I chuckled, struggling to take her seriously.

" It's not that bad Thomas!" She playfully nudged my shoulder.

" Oh really, daisies at a wedding?" I laughed again as she punched me again.

"Well it sounds ridiculous when you put it that way." She frowned.

"It sounds quite ridiculous any way you say it." I answered back. I looked at the time. "Now is the perfect time to get the flowers." I rushed her out the door.

We ran out the door like a loud group of children. "Come on Blodwen. We don't have all day. " I teased.

" Thomas the wedding is next week. We'll be fine." She laughed, as I pulled her to the store ahead of us. " Wow. I never realized how close this store was."

"It isn't very extravagant on the outside, but the inside is magnificent. I promise. Not to mention the wonderful biscuits they sell across the street from here. The glaze is heavenly. " I looked at the small flower shop in front of me.

" No wonder Danny likes you so much." She crossed her arms, and smiled.

" What?" I asked her, confused.

"You are so gooey and sentimental, just like him. He finds little things and remembers them forever. No matter how small. " I blushed as we walked through the entrance to the store.

" Hello! Thomas is that you?! Come here!" I saw the top of my sister's head through an order of tulips.

She practically flew over to where I was standing to examine me, pinching my cheeks in the process. " What can I do for you Thomas?"

"Well I would like to order some arrangements for a wedding, next week." I said, simply.

" Oh my older brother is going to be married! Is this the lovely bride-to-be? How do you do? I'm Katherine, Thomas's sister." Katherine said, quickly.

" Katherine they aren't for me. This is my....friend's sister who is getting married." I struggled to say Danny was only a friend.

" What a pity. Alright. What kind of flowers?" She asked, the disappointment evident in her voice.

Blodwen stepped in. "Lilies, please."

"Traditional or modern arrangement?" Katherine replied.

"Traditional please." Blodwen said after debating the choices.

"Alright they should be finished in two days, so come pick them up." We began to walk out, but Blodwen stopped and spun around.

" Would you like to come? I mean not many people are going and you are arranging the flowers." I wanted to shoot myself, this was a disaster waiting to happen.

My sister looked overjoyed. " Of course! Thank you! I adore weddings! Oh and this will be the perfect time to introduce you to my friend, Thomas! She's intelligent, attractive, unmarried."

"Katherine, you promised you would stop trying to arrange relationships for me. " I rubbed my aching head.

"Just once, for me?"

"No. Katherine no." I responded, changing my tone from slightly annoyed, to angry.

" Thomas, you don't want to end up alone forever." She snapped.

" What I do with my life is no concern of yours."

"Thomas...I." The bell to the store rang and I saw Catherine's husband, Samuel walk in. (Eh eh eh supernatural)

" Thomas? How are you?" The large gentleman walked over to shake my hand, "Who is this lovely woman?" He glanced over at Blodwen after shaking my hand.

" She is Blodwen, she's getting flowers for her wedding, Samuel. We will be leaving now." I grinned, falsely, turning away from Samuel.

"You're leaving already? You must stay for a late tea." He was looking at me but we both knew he meant Blodwen.

"No, I'm afraid we must be going. I promised to dine with my fiancée and my brother. But thank you very much." Blodwen declined, polite as always. I still believe she is much too good for the likes of Jimmy.

"Oh of course, my mistake. You must both come by one time, though." He said, again looking only at her, a mischievous smile on his face. Then the putrid creature kissed her hand before we left.

" Well he was quite...friendly." Was all she said.

" Sure...friendly. " I groaned. I hated Katherine's husband the moment I met him.

Tuesday. The morning of the wedding. (Yay)

Danny POV

" Jimmy get up." I shook my future brother in law.

" Danny leave me alone." He rolled back over on the bed.

" It's your wedding day. Jimmy. You're going to be late." I slightly lied, seeing as the time was only 9:00 and the wedding was at 12:00.

He shot up out of bed and hurried to put on his suit.

" Jimmy calm down, I only said that to get you up. You still have three hours." I refused to look at his face, since I was laughing too hard.

"Honestly Danny. I don't know what to do with this thing." He slumped down in the chair next to his bed. " I told myself I would never get tied down, ever. And then..."

"Jimmy, pardon my interruption, but save it for the reception."I smiled and patted his shoulder.

This was when Thomas walked in the room. " Uh. Hello Jimmy. Good morning Daniel. I just was wondering what we were going to do for a best man."

" That is what I was going to ask you, Thomas. I would like you to be my best man." Jimmy looked straight at Thomas.

" Of course I will, Jimmy. " Thomas walked out with a smile on his face and a small tear in his eye.

Jimmy POV ( sry 4 all the changes)

I stood in the green field, shaking from nerves. I could not believe I was going to do this. I needed something to distract me, I looked over to the barn and at the people sitting on the benches in front of me, everything looked so beautiful, but nothing compared to what, or rather, whom I saw next. Mere words could not describe Blodwen, she took my breath away. She was wearing the most elegant white dress with lace just on the top and a silk cream colored skirt to her dress. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. When she reached me, my lungs felt like the air had been sucked out of them.

" You look breathtaking. " Was all I could seem to get out.

She blushed, making her look even more like the doll that she was. Perfect, in every sense of the word.

" Thank you." She smiled and took my hand.

"You may now kiss the bride." The priest uttered. I took Blodwen's chin in my hand and pulled her lips to meet mine. In all my life, I could not swear to ever be happier than I am at this moment.

We walked down the aisle, fingers interlocked, never letting go for a second.

The reception

"Attention. Everyone. I'd like to make a speech." I clinked my glass.

" I want to first thank my wonderful friend, Thomas. Without him, I wouldn't be standing here today. He helped me in ways that he will never know. Thank you, Thomas, my best man, even when I didn't realize it....Daniel, you are amazing, you are so incredibly kind, and though you have scared me at times, you helped me to make the right decisions. Finally, Blodwen, my dearest Blodwen. I would just like to say, I love you. And not just the traditional, cupid love. I adore you, the way you walk into a room, the way you stand up for what you believe in, the way that you are always there to pick up my sorry excuse for an attitude. You changed me Blodwen. In a good way. Before you, I was only some womanizing hypocrite who happened to work at Downton. To be honest, I told myself years ago that I would never get tied down. Until I met you. You are charming, sweet, beautiful, intelligent, witty, and all other things I wish to be. I love you Blodwen. "
