Torn
-Sam's P.O.V-
Everyone screamed her name the minute she hit the floor. I wanted to run to her, but I couldn't move. My feet were glued to the spot. All I could do was stare at my now unconscious daughter in guilt. I watched as Michael and my mom ran past me and over to her. Once they were beside her, Michael instructed my mom to hold her body still as he pulled the stake out of her.
"Sam, Sam, Sam" Max taunted. "What have you done"
"It was an accident Sam. This is not your fault!" My mom told me. But I couldn't respond.
"Is she alive Michael?" Star asked concerned. Everyone looked at Michael, waiting for his response.
"Thankfully yes, it's a good thing Sam has a terrible aim" He glanced at me. "We need something to stop the bleeding and then she needs to rest. She'll be fine"
I watched Marko quickly scan the cave before retreating off into a room. He quickly returned with towels and blankets. Michael hesitated to move, not trusting Marko at all, but in the end, he did and Marko took his place. He moved her top slightly out of the way and began applying pressure with the towel. He instructed Michael to rip a bit of the thing blanket and he did. Marko using it as a make shift bandage. I tried to find words to say.
"They've turned her! That's why she's unconscious!" Alan screamed, pointing. The rest of the boys and Max burst into laughter.
"Are you stupid" Paul questioned whilst trying to contain his laughter.
"A steak can do that to anyone you stupid boy!" David added.
"Thank you Marko" Michael thanked him after he patched up Naomi. Marko smiled before looking back at her. I saw the concern and worried expression he wore. Michael picked up Naomi, I saw Marko slightly reach out for her but quickly pull his hand back. Michael carried her over to me and I took her into my arms. I turned my attention back to the boys and Max.
"Stay away from my daughter and we won't hurt you!" I threatened. Mostly aiming my threat towards Marko.
"Then don't come anywhere near my boys" Max spat and with that I carried Naomi out of the cave. The frog brothers and my family following me.

-Naomi's P.O.V-
A week had passed since the incident at the cave. I forgave my dad instantly, but he would always apologise none stop. I did it to myself, there was no denying that. I wasn't fully healed, but I managed to get up and walk about the home. Even going to work. Michael and Star decided to stay with us, until they knew for sure I was ok and safe. My dad informed me that I was not to see Marko again. I argued with him many times but he was having none of it. In the end I gave up.
"Are you sure you want to work today?" My dad asked as he parked outside.
"I'll be fine" I mumbled and got out of the car.
"I'll be right here when your shift ends" He yelled after me and drove off. I sighed and walked into the diner. Madison ran over to me and pulled me into a tight hug.
"How are you" She asked concerned, looking me over.
"I'm ok, thank you" I replied, forcing a smile.
"What happened to you? No one really knows anything"
"I don't want to talk about it Maddie, I just want for forget anything happened"
"That's fine, I'm always here though" she gave me one more hug before we both started our shift.
-Marko's P.O.V-
"Paul, you've got a bit of blood still on your chin" I informed him and walked away.
"Hey bud, what's wrong?" He asked once he caught up with me.
"Nothing" I mumbled and began to picked up the pace.
"Marko, I've known you long enough to know when something's up"
"I don't want to talk right now!" I yelled and I took off into the air like, leaving him on the ground. I flew pretty fast, not caring if a branch scratched my face or if I bumped into any objects. I needed time alone. I spotted some cliffs and landed.
I sat there, letting my legs dangle over the edge and began to think about her. I couldn't get her face out of my head. I hadn't seen her for a week and it was killing me. I wanted....no, I needed to see her. I was drawn to her, like a drug. Almost as if she was made especially for me. I never felt like this about anyone, not even when I was human. The thought played in my mind over and over until I couldn't lie to myself anymore.
I was in love with Naomi.

"Thank for you coming in today, I really appreciate it" Jay said as I finished changing out of my uniform.
"You're welcome" I smiled. I put my bag over my shoulder and went to walk out, but Jay caught up with me.
"Naomi, you take it easy. I can't have one of my best workers out for that long again" He was so dramatic.
"I'll try" I giggled. I exited the diner and saw my dad sitting in his car. I sighed, shaking my head and walked over to him.
"How was work?" He asked when I got in.
"Fine" I said and looked out of the window. He started up the car and drove home.
The ride home was silent, the ride felt longer than usual. Once we arrived home, I rushed inside, ignoring Michael and Star and headed straight to my bedroom. I couldn't be bothered to change into my night clothes so I just climbed into bed with the clothes I had on. I rolled onto my side, so that I was facing the all instead on my door. As I lay, a certain boy popped into my mind and I started to silently cry. I missed Marko
