-Marko's P.O.V-

I rubbed my eyes and walked into the main part of the cave, the others already awake. Normally, I'm the first one up but since I became 'banned' from seeing Naomi, I was a little more depressed and slept in. I slumped down on the couch, earning strange looks from the boys.

"So, what's our plan for tonight?" David asked clapping his hands together.

"Let's fine some strippers!" Paul suggested.

"You're a pig" Dwayne said in disgust and threw a book directly at Paul's head.

"Cut it out you two!" David demanded before turning to look at me. "Marko?" I shrugged in response. I didn't really feel like doing anything.

"Someone get the boy some pills for his depressed ass" Paul joked and he slapped my shoulder.

"Shut up Paul!" I growled. "Can we at least feed first?"

"Good idea Marko" David stood up. "Boys, let's find some fresh blood"

-Naomi's P.O.V-

I currently sat on Madisons bed. Her house was the only place my dad allowed me to go without somebody supervising me. The two of us didn't have work today and I needed something to do instead of being stuck at home. I had told her about Marko and I, she grew suspicious when he kept coming into the diner to see me before. Obviously I never told her about him being a vampire, or the true reason as to why my dad hated him so much. Instead, I explained that because of his 'bad boy' reputation, my dad didn't approve.

"I really miss him" I sighed, watching Madison paint her toenails. She just finished mine.

"Who your dad?" She joked. Maddie always tried to lighten the mood.

"No you fool, Marko!" I giggled.

"I find it weird how you've not even known this boy two months and yet you are smitten by him" she said, her eyebrows raising as she spoke.

"I know. I don't know what is it"

"Naomi hunny, you're in love" she sang. "Look, if you really want to see him again then I'll help you" My heart beat was racing and my eyes lit up.

"How? What if my dad found out?" I asked.

"Don't worry, I have a plan" she smirked. This girl better not be getting my hopes up.

"My mom said it's fine. She just needs your permission" Madison told my dad. He turned to me and I gave him my famous puppy dog eyes.

"I don't think that's a good idea" My dad blurted out.

"Mr E, I'm not going to kill her. It's just a sleepover. Girls do that from time to time you know" Madison joked.

"Oh..alright then" He finally caved in. "But you are to stay in Madisons house! Do you understand?" My dad shouted up after me and Madison as he both rushed up the stairs to pack my stuff.

"I will!" I shouted back. "When have I ever disobeyed you?" I cringed , I guess there's a first for everything.

My dad decided to drop us off at Madisons. Somehow, Madison managed to get my dad to make a quick stop at the boardwalk. She said she had to pick up a few things for her mom on the way home. As he parked the car, Madison pulled out her phone and began typing.

Which ones Marko again?

The one with the curly hair, really colourful jacket.

Got it! Madison pocketed her phone and grabbed the piece of paper that sat beside her.

"What's that?" My dad asked as Madison began to exit the car.

"Shopping list" She replied with a fake smile. She took off before my dad could ask anymore questions.

Whilst she was gone, my dad sat instructing me on what to do and what not to do whilst I was over at Madisons. I tried to ignore him but every time I did, he made a big fuss. I prayed that Maddie would hurry up. In that moment, there was a God! Madison finally showed up, but without any shopping.

"Where's the stuff your mom wanted?" My dad suspiciously asked. Shit! Plan failed. I'm so grounded!

"By the time I got to the check out my mom called me saying I was too slow and that my dad grabbed them instead. What a waste of time!" She rolled her eyes, making her story more believable. My dad began to drive, she shot me a thumbs up. The plan worked. I grew excited the closer we got to her house.

"They're asleep" Madison announced, tiptoeing back into her room. The time was 23:41, if I left now I'd be there by 12:15, which was perfect.

"Good, help me out of this window" Whilst we waited for her parents to fall asleep, we made a rope out of her clothes. She said going through the front door would be too loud. This was our only option.

"Are you sure you know where you're going?" She asked as she tied the beginning of the rope to her bed post. Which we pushed up against the wall.

"Positive" I reassured her. "Thank you for letting me do this" I beamed at her.

"It's ok, please be back at 2. If you need me call me, I'll be up" I nodded and gave her a small hug. I slowly climbed down the makeshift rope.

"Be careful Naomi" Madison said looking down at me. Once I hit the ground, I took off running.

I climbed the rocks and let out a sigh of relief once I made it to the top. He wasn't here yet, I had time to emotionally prepare. I sat waiting, so many thoughts racing through my mind. Is he going to show up? What if he didn't want to see me? What if he thinks it's a set up? Does he even know it was me that wrote the note? Five minutes past and still no sign of Marko. I grew anxious. I couldn't help but think that this was a waste of time, until I heard a noise behind me. I didn't turn to look, I stayed sat down and waited.

"Naomi?" I heard his voice. The excitement that had been building all night exploded within me. I couldn't stop smiling, tears began to build up. I slowly stood up and turned. Marko finally stood opposite me.

"I had to see you" I told him, my voice shaky. A single tear rolled down my cheek. He said nothing. Instead, he flashed his famous grin and wrapped his arms around me. I didn't waste anytime, I ran my fingers through his curly locks and connected our lips. I felt like I belonged here, I felt safe with him.

"I missed you Naomi"

"I missed you too Marko"
