"Mom will be home in two weeks until then you'll be on your own." Shane was telling us. We were standing by the door saying our goodbyes to them.

"We get it." I told him. Brie and I pushed both of them out the door.

"Have fun!" Brie yelled.

"Wai-." Stephanie didn't get to finish her sentence. Brie and I slammed the doors shut.

"Finally." We both mumble. I walk off to the window and see if they're gone. They both were getting in the car. Shane drives off.

"Okay they're gone." I tell Brie.

"Party?"

"No."

"What? Why not?" She exclaims.

"I was hoping to just spend time with Colby, I don't need other people here when they think we've broken up." I explain to Brie.

"Can't you just hang out at his house." She tries to reason with me. I shake my head.

"No offense to him, but his house is small and he gets kind of loud." I say. She rolls her eyes.

"Fine I won't have a party." She surrenders. I nod and walk to our rooms. It was currently around seven in the morning. We needed to be at school in an hour.

I walked into my room and went through my closet. I finally picked out my outfit.

I go to my bathroom and do my hair.

I do my makeup and downstairs. I find Brie talking to some of her friends. She was already dressed and looked ready to go. "Hey." I grab a yogurt and sit on the table.

"Hey." Some of her friends say. I stay quiet as I eat my yogurt and listen to their conversation.

"So there is a new kid." One of her friends says.

"Is he cute?"

"I don't know I haven't met him yet, you idiot." I sigh and get up from my seat. I grab my keys.

"I'm going to school, mom said they asked me to go early."

"You'll probably show the new kid around." Brie tells me. I shrug and grab my bag.

I can't wait to see how people react when they find out I 'broke up' with Colby.
