Jimin hurriedly opens the door to see the lights off. Shit! He screwed up big this time!

"Hobi?" he calls out in his cute voice.

"Oh you are back!" Hobi comes running to hug him.

"Babe, I am really very sorry, it's just this case...I'll make it up to you...please don't be angry...I...I..."

Hobi kisses his lips to shut him up. "You talk too much. Did I say I am angry? Joon had already called and told me about the situation. I hope Tae's father is okay."

Wow, Joon really is ahead of everyone.

"Oh, is that so? His father is now at the base resting. I am so relieved that you are not angry. But..." Jimin pouts.

"But what?"

"Our date. I was really looking forward to it." He looks into Hobi's eyes.

"Don't worry. I have a plan for tomorrow. But it's a surprise. Let's sleep now. You must be tired."

"You know I love you, right?" Jimin kisses his nose.

"And I love you too." Hobi kisses his nose. "Why don't we take this to our room?" he says with a bit of a smirk.

Jimin chuckles and walks towards their room. When he reached the door, he turned and started unbuttoning his shirt seductively, "Aren't you joining?"

The bar was nearly empty at this time of the night. It was good anyways. Tae doesn't like noisy places. They sit in front of the bartender and order shots. Yoongi refuses as he is going to drive them back.

"Hye Jung was killed." Joon says taking a shot.

Tae looks visibly shocked. "How can you say that as if it wasn't a big deal?"

"She was an important witness who could have given us leads to someone very dangerous. But we are sorry we couldn't save her." And then Joon goes on to explain what and how it happened.

"I know it's a lot to take in in one day." Joon looks at him with sympathy.

"I mean even if she was lying, she did help our hospital a lot. She helped me a lot. I can't help but feel sad. She deserved jail, not a death like this." Tae says taking a shot.

"That is your nature Tae. You are very forgiving." Joon hesitates before saying the next part, "Actually, we would understand if you refuse to associate with us in the near future. But we need to protect you and your family. I don't know why WH is behind you but we intend to find out. And for that, it will be better if you stay close to us. But we will understand if you don't want to." Joon continues.

Tae doesn't say anything. After a long pause, Yoongi breaks the silence. "What do you want?"

"Can I think about it?"

"Sure. Why not? You can be our team's medical assistance for the cover." Joon takes a shot and speaks after a long pause, "I don't know if it helps or no but...me and Hong are just friends."

Tae gets a bit flustered, "I never said anything! It's none of my business!" he says with wide eyes.

"That day, when you saw me coming out of her office, I was working the whole night because the data was in her computer and I slept on the chair. She was sleeping on the couch without a pillow hence her shoulders were a bit stiff. And her leg..." Joon takes another shot before continuing, "She had an accident and her leg was broken. It is okay now but sometimes, due to stress, her leg acts up. Also, not much of importance but, I am gay."

"I don't know why you thought this would affect my decision to join you." Tae sounded both relieved and shocked. Relieved that they weren't a thing and shocked at Joon's sudden revelation.

"You are gay?" Yoongi asked shocked.

"You work together and you never knew?" Tae asks, equally shocked.

"He never talks much except for work." And mumbles the next part, "I would have asked him out."

"Let's drink to celebrate this night. We are one step closer to finding WH. Woo hoo!" Joon shouts suddenly, scaring everyone.

After a few more drinks, it's hard for Taehyung to keep his eyes open. But Joon seems he is nowhere near to end this 'celebration'.

"Tae, Tae...look at me.." Joon holds Tae's hand, looking straight into his eyes, "I don't want to come in between you and Hong. Whatever happened, whatever she did, you guys need to sort it out on your own. We won't interrupt. The only thing..."he burps right in front of his face but continues, "The only thing we can do is apologize to you for hiding who we were and leaving you alone. But we all had reasons. Hong too. So please stop being hard on her and wait for her to come back. She loves you but she had to...."

SPLAT!!

"Ewww Namjoon, wtf!"Tae stands up violently as Joon keeps retching out.

"I'll take him to the bathroom." Yoongi says helping Joon get up.

Tae sits there alone, waiting for them. He wasn't that drunk so he did hear whatever Joon was saying. That got him into thoughts.

What was her reason to do what she did? What was her reason to hide her identity from him?
