Chapter 01
The bright light was making it hard for me to open my eyes. It was infact painful. Like my eyes were shut for years.
I could vaguely see where I was. It was very dark. It looked like there were a lot of things stuffed in the room.
One thing that bothered me was where did that bright light came from. My eyes were practically stinging from the brightness. But now as I look around the surrounding is really dim. Maybe I could have some light here.
After a few seconds, I got adjusted to the dim lit room. It had all kinds of junks piled up like in a storage room. How did I get here? Where am I? Now that I think about it, who am I ?
My hands automatically reached out to my pockets only to find I had none. I looked down and saw that I was wearing a pale blue dress which was all wrinkled and worn out. I slid my fingers through my long dark hair and it was all tangled. I'm sure that I look like a mess. I had a bracelet on my wrist which had small stars and a moon dangling. Each stars had something engraved on it. I tried to put it all together when I heard a car honking non stop.
There was a small window near the pile on my right. I climbed on the table and stood on my toes and saw an SUV parked.
I don't know where I am or why I am here. I guess I have to find it out myself. It's actually scaring me inside out not knowing anything.
I scurried towards the door. To add more to my unlucky state the door was locked. I tried budging it. Nope it won't open. With frustration and anger at my helpless state I banged on the door really hard. To my surprise, that didn't even make a single noise. And I was no longer in that basement room. I was in a narrow corridor that is followed by the stairs to the next floor. Did I just went through the door? I touched the door but I didn't go through like I thought I would. What then how did I reach here? Should I be scared or glad that I got out from there in the first place?
I heard a bang again from above me. Forgetting everything that just happened I ran upstairs. But stopped right behind the wall, so I could see who were making these noise. I found a young man carrying a huge cardboard box. He slowly put that down like it was a feather. How strong is he? His biceps told me how much. His shirt was straining not to tear up. He went out and this time the one entering with a box was another. He was not as tall as the other, I guess the other one is about six feet tall. But he had that intimidating look on his face. And just as handsome as the other.
What if I am kidnapped? They don't look like that kind of people though.
My legs betrayed me, I slipped on the floor and fell with a thud right in front of him. He was about to turn to the door but he turned back and scanned the room. Then he just went out of the house like he didn't see me.
What.... Did he not see me? I just fell right in front of him. How can he not notice that? It's not like I'm invisible. Wait am I?
I heard people chit chatting as they opened the door. My first instinct was to hide, then I realised they didn't even know of my existence here. Because one of them was looking straight through me and didn't even flinch.
Am I a ghost? Ohh then that means I'm dead. No no that is wrong. I would've remembered if that happened. Or do I have invisibility power or something?
I lifted my head and got up from the floor. They were six young men. So handsome that one couldn't even divert their eyes from them for one second.
'Did he say when will he reach here, Taehyung?' That tall guy whom I first saw asked.
'He said he will reach before midnight, Namjoon hyung. He had to meet his dad before moving in.' This reply was given by the one who was about to close the door. He had silver hair, which looked so smooth and shiny. His face was ethereal. I couldn't believe they were all real people.
So the tallest guy's name was Namjoon and the other was Taehyung. I don't think I should bother learning their names when I can't even interact with them.
