I am done with the first part and its quick for my usual slow updates. I promise to be really quick in posting further chapters. Anyways please let me know how this goes...

The night was calm with a full moon and a cool breeze. For any other person, this would be a perfect night. But for him: it wasn't the same. The moon was standing alone just like him and the breeze gave him chills down the spine. The solitude that was his companion all these years have turned against him as a villain. The entire atmosphere was scary giving him no peace.

He tried to calm his mind by taking the cigarette from the side table, deliberately ignoring the small photo frame kept on top of it. It was something that he stopped long back for someone. But He badly needed it to change his mood right now. After taking a few puffs, he put the cigar on the ash tray visibly irritated. It could not give him the much needed peace. Instead, it ignited all the wounded memories that were buried inside him. And deep down, he knew what his heart wanted. It took him a couple of more minutes to finally muster up courage to do it. Expecting an outburst and an emotional breakdown, he glanced at the photo frame with much difficulty. Unknowingly, tears started flowing out from his eyes.

He kneeled down and kept his face on the table leveling his eye and the picture. And one glance at the image, he lost it. He screamed venting out his frustrations and cried aloud not knowing any other thing to calm his mind.

The nature too resonated his emotions. The calming atmosphere suddenly turned angry. And it started raining devil and pitchforks. Just like his how his heart ached.

After a while, He finally looked at the picture: His love. The only thing he ever wanted in life. The single person his whole heart yearned.

Her ethereal smile which always gave him solace in every difficult situation and her twinkling eyes that gave him strength to pass every hurdle and struggles he ever faced in life.

The lady he ever loved, who was his pillar of strength and the only weakness. The only person in this whole universe who had the power to control him.

Vaidhehi... Arjun's Vaidhu !

He just shut his eyes tight not being able to look at her angelic face. A teardrop fell from his eyes reminiscing their moments.

She was with him throughout his life. Bearing his short temper, grumpy nature and slowly changing him into a soft kind hearted man to everyone except those evil and gave him strength to fights against all the odds with her love. All she wanted was his happiness not knowing she is the sole reason for it. He loved her with all his heart and more. Yet he failed in it. He couldn't save her.

The woman he ever loved was tortured. She was lying down in a pool of blood...Her tearful eyes, yearning for him even at her last moment. Even then, she didn't blame or complain. It was only her love and the pain of leaving him forever reflected in those eyes... And He couldn't do anything! He was helpless...

He screamed aloud again in his top voice not being able to bear the pain remembering the moment she took her last breath. She was brutally taken away from him forever just like his family. The history was repeated. And this time, he was left with nothing but scaring loneliness. The one he always feared. The other face of his companion: Dangerously scaring solitude!!

Arjun: A 27 year old young by man hailing from Anantpur, South India. He was sharp shooter, who got selected into the military at the age of 18. He was smart and intelligent for his age which impressed his officers within a short span of time that helped him getting selected into the official raw team. With the help of his officers, he turned into one of the finest raw agents India has ever seen.

He had none left in this world as his family. None to claim as his own. Life started playing games with him since he was 7yr old. Arjun, who was the son of Shekar Reddy lost his family in a tragic and brutal encounter. Shekar was a dutiful CBI officer and his honesty cost him his own and his family's life. The little Arjun l was saved from the mishap by one of his neighbor's relative who came for the visit to his village and he left him in an orphanage in Hyderabad.

The little Arjun was scared and his fear gradually made him a serious
Kid for his age. His heart was full of revenge. But, life gives everyone a ray of hope to hold on even at the most difficult situation.

For Arjun, it was an angel: Vaidehi !!

The 6yr old girl was full of happiness who had everyone's heart wrapped around her little fingers. Arjun was grumpy with everyone since the time he was left in the orphanage. But his seriousness and antics were not given any sort of attention by her. With constant attempts, she finally made him smile and since then, they were inseparable. And he could not think of a day without her.

They grew up together sharing their joys and sorrows. And gradually the dependency and innocent love turned into an intense one. They were protective and possessive about each other. Yet they were not ready to confess it.

It took a major turn only when Arjun expressed his wish to join Indian Army. She was shocked at first but she knew about his ambition of becoming a raw agent and serve the nation. She agreed on the separation and told him that she will wait for his return every year. That was enough for the teenage couple. And after a handful of events, they sealed their love in wedlock.

Vaidehi was his everything. His lady love for 20years, Fiancé for 1 year and Wife or 1 day! His love and respect for his nation cost him her. And he was no longer the same. He had no wish to live further in a world without her.

Today, It has been 2 years since Vaidehi demise and Arjun wasn't able to cop up with his new life. Everything was the same in his house. He never tried to change even a pin that she kept. And he was given a long leave from his duty.

All these days, only one thing was there in his mind. Revenge!
He was blinded by it. And he was determined to avenge for her life. He never wished to defame his job for his personal need. He was adamant that His official identity shouldn't be a hindrance to it and hence he decided to leave his job forever. The very same job! That he earned through sheer hard work and determination.

It wasn't easy for him. Yet he was forced to do it. For her...

Captain Ashutosh Rane looked at him with a grim face. Arjun couldn't meet his eyes and his head was bowed down. Ashutosh glanced at the resignation paper and walked up to the young man in front of him. He sighed deeply and patted his shoulders.

"What is this Officer Arjun? I know you are not in your senses. Else, you wouldn't do this. Think rationally! You shouldn't take harsh decisions out of impulsiveness. You need a break from all this. Go! I am extending your leave and come back only when you are okay."

Arjun dint look at him. He dint know how to convince him. But he was determined. "I am sorry Sir. I have thought about it a lot. And this is my final decision. I am quitting!"

Ashutosh sensed the finality in his voice. He knows why his favorite junior is behaving so. He was not angry but calm. He gently placed hands on his head and Arjun was forced to meet his eyes.

"Okay. I completely understand you. But I need to know one thing! Where is my Aju? My brave boy! Where has he gone? ...... What are you doing my child?" He was soft and Arjun could only break down at his words.

Yes! He was officer Arjun to everyone but Aju to only two people. Ashutosh and Vaidehi!!

It was Ashutosh who noticed Arjun's skills during his military training period and was his pillar of support molding him into the finest raw agent. The one who made him confess his love to Vaidehi. His mentor, guide, and father figure who knew everything about him.

Arjun kneeled down and cried his heart out. Ashutosh kneeled to his level and hugged him like a child. After a while, he gained his normalcy.

"I can't do this! I don't want to think of anything else. I am still alive only to avenge for my Vaidhu's life. I will hunt them and kill every single person who tortured my girl. I swear!! And I don't want to defame my job or my post or utilize it for my personal thing. So I am quitting. Please don't force me, Sir." He pleaded.

Ashutosh nodded in Yes. He understood this boy more than anyone. Once he decides something, it's really hard to change his mind. So thinking of something, He made Arjun sit in front of him and showed him a picture from his projector.

"I want you to show the updated information regarding Mr. X!

Antony Joshua!

The person he wanted to kill with his bare hands. The very same person who was behind his wife's murder. Arjun was shocked beyond words. He was finally listed as an Interpol criminal.

Ashutosh understood his plight.
"Yes. Finally, our plan worked. He is in the suspected list of possibly being Mr. X! Though, it cost us an irrevocable, irreplaceable loss."
He paused for a second as Arjun shut his eyes tight and clenched his fists.

"It is not the time to quit Aju. You need to get stronger and act smart. Once he is exposed and confirmed as Mr. X, you can do whatever you want. And I will be with you on this."
He paused for a second.

"It's not only you who lost your wife, but I also lost my daughter too." Arjun looked up at him and saw extreme pain in his eyes. He was helpless.

While growing up, He Never knew that his Vaidehi wasn't an orphan. She had her father who only contacted her through his gifts and monetary support. Never once he came for her.

After joining the military, he got close to Captain Ashutosh on a personal level and shared his life story only to get the biggest shock of his life.
Ashutosh was happy and anxious at the same time. His son like figure was deeply in love with his own biological daughter whom he kept away as far as possible because of his job. He was more than happy to give her to him. He always kept his family away from him. But, he lost his wife during delivery, and in order to keep his daughter away from danger, he put her in the orphanage.

Ashutosh was extremely happy to know about their love. He confessed the truth to Arjun but asked him to maintain as a secret by keeping it between them as he feared Vaidhu's reaction. They were waiting for the right moment. But fate was against them. One wrong move and everything went out of their hands.

The only lady in their life, their dearest Vaidhu was taken away from them forever. And yet he was strong. He wanted his son to be strong enough to face the world. And he did everything he could do to get the real culprit exposed as
Mr. X. Finally his attempts were successful. Anthony finally made it into the suspect list.

"Do you really think Vaidhu would have agreed to your decision? She would never do that. She loved you more than anyone, respected your job. So think Aju. You need to rise from the ashes... You were her Hero. And you need to prove that correct. And yes you can avenge for her life. Not by quitting your job. But, by using your skills and Job. I will give my life for you to be in this mission. Won't you do this at least?" He asked with hope and Arjun thought for a while.

Ashutosh was right. His Vaidehi wouldn't want him to quit his job. And she would have said the exact words like her father...

Arjun sighed, stood up, took his resignation paper, and tore it into pieces.

"I'll join the duty from the very next day Sir". He gave a sincere salute to him and went out of the room.

After an hour, Ashutosh smiled at his mobile on receiving the message from Arjun.

"Thank You, Papa!!"
