Peggy is a genius. She immediately called Howard and asked him to be our pilot. Of course, he agreed he's as wild as one can be.

"The Hydra camp is in Krausberg, tucked in between these two mountain ranges." Peggy pointed on the map. "It's a factory of some kind."

"We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep!" Howard piped up from the cockpit.
"Just get us as close as you can!" Steve replied."You two are gonna be in a lot of trouble when you land."
"And we won't?" I chuckled in amusement from beside him. To say that I wasn't scared would be a lie. I didn't want Peggy to pull me off of this at the last minute. Or for Steve to not let me go with him. Not that they can stop me.

"Where we're going, if anybody yells at me, we can just shoot at em." he grinned at me when I laughed.
"They will undoubtedly shoot back." Peggy reasoned. He tapped the star-spangled shield beside him.
"Well, let's hope it's good for something."

"Agent Carters!" Howard caught our attention. He always called us that when he needed to address both of us. "If we're not in too much of a hurry, I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a late-night fondue."

"You do know that I'll be going with Steve right?" I replied.
"Well then. Maybe tomorrow night. We can celebrate when you come back!"
"Sure, Stark." I love chocolate fondue.

Steve looked at Peggy in question.
"Stark is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen." Peggy explained her choice. "He's mad enough to brave this airspace. We're lucky to have him." Steve nodded before turning to me.

"So, are you two...?" he gestured to Stark and me. "Do you...?" I looked at him in confusion. What? "Fondue?..." I was still trying to figure what he was saying when Peggy interrupted.

"This is your transponder." She handed one to each of us. "Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you."
"Are you sure this thing works?" he asks Howard as he examines the device.
"It's been tested more than you, pal." he simply replied before turning forward again.

The plane shook as shots rang. Lights flashed through the window like fireworks. We grabbed onto our seats. Steve and I made eye contact before nodding in unison. He got up and made his way to the door of the plane and swung it open. I got up behind him.

"Get back here!" Peggy demanded. "We're taking you all the way in!"
"As soon as we're clear, you turn this thing around and get the hell out of here!" Steve shouted through the howling winds. He glanced at me again.
"You can't give me orders!" Peggy retorted.
"The hell I can't!" Steve grinned. "I'm a Captain!" he grinned cheekily. "Cynthia." my name came out of his tongue smoothly. "Are you sure about this? You don't have to."

I was sure as soon as I realized he wanted to save them. But I didn't say that.
"I am. I got your back, Cap." This was the first time I called him that and he smiled at me. He grabbed my hand and we jumped off the plane.
