Power and Money. The two things people want in our society. Power makes them feel superior, and how do you get power? Control over others.
     But humans are creatures who don't like being controlled. (At least most of us) Those who want to control, don't want to be controlled, and those who are controlled don't want to be controlled. No one wants to be controlled, so why do they want control over others?
     Why do they want control at all? It's very simple. Control makes them feel powerful and like they have control over their own life, when in reality, no one really has full control.
     But what about money? Well, that one's simple. Money is used to buy things, and things make you seem cool, or in other words, more popular and higher status in society. A higher status usually means control, which we already discussed.
     Control and money, the two things people want. Out human nature is to want control, we want to have control over something, hence slavery, government, etc. what's the easiest way to get control over others? Power. What's the easiest way to gain power? Money.
