Changing Person's POV

3rd Person's POV.

'"I'll be with you together."

Liar.

"Let's do our best together!"

Together?
Lies.

"I'll protect you, so-"

But you didn't.

You woke up in your own room, staring at the figuratively monochrome atmosphere. Finally realizing your eyes are tearing up, you wiped them off and placed on a poker face. You sat up and stretched your back, neck, shoulders, legs and arms.

You decided to finally stand up, looking at the still-early signs that the sky gave. No matter what you do, you can't fall back asleep after all.

You started your own daily sigh in the current time.

'Probably 3:30 a.m.' You thought before sighing once again.

You walked around the still-quiet environment of the citadel. Breathing in the cold air that continues to touch your face, you finally ended up on front of the door of the one you admired.

You heard some nearly quiet snoring noises from the outside of the door.

'Hori probably rolled over near the door again.' You thought while suddenly giggling.

The happiness suddenly stopped as the harsh reality broke your temporarily fixed emotions into sharp shards, piercing your heart.

'Oh yeah.'
'He's already seeing someone.'

The pleasing cold air earlier began to slap you.

"Was I too late?" You quietly mumbled involuntarily as you stopped on your tracks away from the room.

Feeling the sudden wave to cry, you started to blink fast, in order to stop the tears from multiplying.

"What am I doing then?"  You said out loud, finally deciding to go onto the rooftop.

The cold air suddenly wrapped you into a blanket of coldness, making you feel a little bit alright.

"What do I lack, Hori?"
"Why did you choose an obvious cheater to love?"
"What did you find in her?"

Those were the words you cannot express freely. It can destroy your relationship and trust with him.

"Why is it so hard to experience an unrequited love?"
"Why does unrequited love feels so empty?"

Finding the resolve to compliment the sky, you thought, 'The moon is beautiful tonight.'

Continuing with the torturing thoughts, you tried to ignore the shards struck in your heart.

Horikawa's POV

To be honest, I don't remember why I fell for my admired one.

'My current lover, (R/n)* is attractive.' I thought. 'I'm a lucky sword.' (*Random name)

But is that it? Was that everything?

'.... I miss you..'

I shook my head away from those thoughts. How did my mind go from (R/n) to (Y/n)?

'"I just noticed." Izumi suddenly said. "You haven't been talking to (Y/n) after you found a lover." '

' "Brother." Yamanbagiri suddenly said. "I thought you were close with (Y/n). You haven't been talking at all since you got your own lover." '

"(Y/n).. to be honest I.."
"I actually love you."

Maybe I'm too late.

I just..
Every time I go out with (R/n), I think of (Y/n).

'"Maybe you're only lusting over (R/n)?" Yasusada suggested.

Kashuu nodded and said, "There's like, a huge difference between love and lust, Kunihiro." '

I'm too late.

"Hori I..."
"I actually fell for you."
"More like, I used to love you."

(Y/n) was now gone forever.

My emotions broke into small shards and struck my heart hard.
