(Tords POV)
"Lindy can you hear me" I made sure to keep my voice low but I'm pretty sure Lindy could hear me. Pretty sure, 65%.
Slight movement caught my attention as I saw her head move up and down in a slow manor, like one would do when you have a headache and you wish not to make it worse so you move really slow like.
"Oh good, because I thought you'd never wake up." Tight wraps wound around her stomach and a gauze was held fast to her throats and cheek. Her shoulder was held with a loose wrap. I stared at the wraps as little red could be seen through them. Lindy still had not opened her eyes. I mean I get she was tired but come on, I needed her to open her eyes. Just once even.
"So... what's up" I don't know why I asked her, she couldn't respond with the breathing mask on.
"Oh come on at least open your eyes or something for me..Please!!" I twitched and put my head down squeezing my eyes shut. Something cold touched my hand. Lindy had moved her fingers over mine. I clasped her hand feeling my heart stop.
"Oh Lindy" I wasn't gonna cry, I'd already cried to much because of Lindy... she deserved better friends than me....
After a while the nurse came back in and told me I had to go.
"Don't worry, she'll be put out before the end of the day." Ha! Shows how much they care about their campers. I then went home to my cabin to change because I was getting sick of the metallic smell. Tom and Edd were no where to be seen although Zoe and Lucy had been reported as returning to their cabin as soon as they got back to the camp. Once I changed into something more comfortable I climbed into the top bunk and fell asleep before my head even hit the pillow.
I woke up sometime in the afternoon, I didn't bother waking up my computer to see. I stretched my arms out and walked outside, the sun was dipped down and was slowly leaving the sky. I guess about five o'clock or what not. I had grown good guessing time. I stumbled around to the pond or that area at least. I wandered by the nurses office and found it empty,
"Where is she?!" I glanced to Lindy's room and found it empty.
"She went off looking for you, poor thing can't even stand up straight..." and she went on typing on her computer. Oh my gosh I hate this stupid nurses!!!!.... I ran back outside looking every where Lindy might go.
"Ha, your funny Dan!" I headed a familiar giggle that could only belong to one person. I sighed in relief as I walked over to where the noise was coming from.
Lindy was standing next to a tree and a stocky guy was leaning against the tree chatting with her.
No scratch that, he was flirting with her. This made me mad, I don't know why but all of a sudden I had the sudden urge to destroy him. Remember when I said Lindy deserved better friends, well I didn't mean it like this! I shoved my hands hard into my pocket and continue walking gritting my teeth. As I moved closer I got a better look at the guy who was talking to Lindy. He was tall and well built, he had brown hair that lay in a mop around his head, it kinda reminded me of Edds hair. He had brown eyes and a wicked smile. His face almost came out of one of those magazines with celebrities in them.
"Lindy..." I was standing only a couple feet from them and Lindy turned her gaze when she heard her name.
The guy, dan I think she called him, took one look at my face and scrunched up his face.
My eyes flickered over to Lindy, could she still not see?
"Tord this is my new friend Dan..." she talked in the wrong direction so I'm guessing she was still blind.
"Ha haha" dan broke out into a fit of laughter"what kind of stupid name is
that!" My anger only rose and boiled.
"Dan that's not really nice.."
"I'm sorry Lindy" he didn't bother saying sorry to me. I didn't like this guy, he wasn't very nice.
"So Lindy..." he paused for a second stealing a glance at me and cracked a evil smile." How's about that date" he played with the word letting it roll off his tounge in a slow manor torturing me at every syllable, which is only one.
"Dan, we've been over this. I said you could take me to dinner but it's not a date." She smirked and faced him.
"Aw come on Lindy" he reached out and grabbed a lock of her hair twirling it in his fingers. This was making me boil. I clutched my fingers tight in my hand, making a fist.
"S-She's taken...." I reached forward and grabbed Lindy's hand pulling her after me. I walked away from dan but as I did so I turned and made a gun with my hand, I aimed it at him and fired blowing off the top. He seemed shocked by what happened and a look of horror crossed his face as he saw me point the imaginary gun at him, he knew I wasn't kidding, I also would shoot him if I could. Remember I'd been in the army for a while, on top of that I was still in the army. Heck I even dropped out of school for the army, school wasn't important anyway. I would just serve in the army my whole life, probably. I continued walking away until we were well away from dan.
"Tord what was that for, why are you acting so strange?" Lindy suddenly pulled back and the suddenness of it caused me to stop.
"I don't like dan.. that's all" I wouldn't face her, not that she could see me anyway.
"Why! Because he asked me on a date!?"
Yes," No!! Something's off about him!"
"Like what! That I actually have a friend that's not you!" She turned around and twisted her arm out of my grip and stomped off before promptly crashing into a tree.
What did I just do...
