Here's the next chapter Nords!
--
Daryl took me out on their boat once. It may not have been the fastest, sportiest, or the most fashionable one around, but I loved it. It was nice to be lying in between his legs as we let the boat just glide through the water as the water lapped at the edges. It was peaceful and relaxing.
Daryl shifted slightly causing me to sigh slightly annoyed. I opened one eye and looked up at him. "Could you sit still for two seconds?" I asked him. Daryl looked down at me and sucked his lip into his mouth, biting it. It instantly made me no longer annoyed.
Daryl's hands were lying on my shoulders. They slowly made their under my arms and ghosted smoothly down my sides. His hands were soft and cool against my skin. I felt goose bumps rise on my skin as his hands stopped right under my bikini clad breasts.
"Daryl," I breathed as I felt my heartbeat speed up. I didn't want to do this here. I heard him chuckle as his head rested on my shoulder. I felt his lips brush against my shoulder before making their way to my neck and kissing it lightly. I sighed hoping he would stop.
Man, was I wrong. When I least expected it Daryl bit down lightly on my neck causing me to jump and gasp. I reached back and latched on to Daryl's hair at the nape of his neck and tugged lightly thinking it would get him to back up but it only caused him to growl in pleasure.
I sighed and just let him have his way. I knew there was no use in fighting him. He was a Dixon once he started something he always finished it. I sighed as I let my other hand reach back and both ran through his short sandy blonde hair as he brought his lips to mine.
I slowly turned around trying not to tip the boat. Daryl's arms instantly wrapped around my waist as mine stayed in his hair. Daryl pushed me back lightly and my back landed on the blanket that had been crumpled and tossed carelessly on the floor of the boat.
Daryl's hands ran up my back and I pulled back a little when I felt a small tug on the strings of my bikini top. "Wait wait wait," I murmured breathlessly against his lips, my eyes still closed. I slowly opened them and I was instantly met by those Georgia blues.
"What?" Daryl asked me. I looked around and bit my lip. "In here? Really?" I asked him. Daryl shrugged his shoulders slightly and gave me that typical Dixon smirk before quirking an eyebrow at me. "It wouldn't be the first time we've done it in a crazy place."
This was true, the sand at the lake, in the back of his truck, in the forest on a hunting trip, his closet, yes his closet. His dad came home unexpectedly one day while we were in the middle of things. We hid in Daryl's closest and locked the door, but his dad was too drunk to notice.
"I guess we can just add this to our list of places then, huh? Though there isn't much room," I said shifted slightly. Daryl's smirk widened. "Don't worry, baby doll. I got all the room I need," he said. I snorted before I felt Daryl's lips on mine again.
My bikini top came off first and Daryl's hands found residence there as my breath hitched and I arched towards him. My bottoms followed Daryl's as his hands ran down my sides. My legs wrapped around his waist as the boat began to rock. Before I knew it the boat tipped and we landed in the water with a splash.
I shook my head trying to clear the thoughts that were arising. I looked over at Daryl to see he was smirking at me. It was almost like he was thinking the same thing. "Merle, stay here, Em and I will go check out the boat," Daryl grumbled softly.
Merle shook his head. "We all need to go. It's a big boat," Merle said. I hated to say it but I actually had to agree with Merle this time. "I'll go with Phia. She's ready," I was a little surprised when Daryl got out of the truck without any complaints.
Daryl and I both loaded our crossbows. I kissed Sophia on the forehead and Daryl ruffled her hair. I squeezed Merle's bicep and he gave me a slight nod before grabbing Sophia's hand. Daryl and I headed off in one direction as Merle and Sophia headed in the other.
"Pretty big boat, look over there. There's a ramp that you can lower. That means we can get the truck up in this thing," Daryl nodded as he kept his crossbow drawn. "It may take a bit to clear this thing though. We don't know how many rooms and floors there are."
Daryl grunted in response and I sighed deciding to stay quiet and keep my ears open. We came to the first door and Daryl slowly opened it to be met by a small broom closet. We sighed and shut the door. We continued down the deck and checked several other doors.
When we came to the last one the top deck we could hear the taps on from the inside. "There can only be one of two things in there," I said. Daryl nodded towards the door telling me that I was the one who was going to open it. I slowly walked over to the door.
I placed my hand around the door knob. I dropped my crossbow and unsheathed my knife. I looked back at Daryl who was staring at the door but gave me a slight nod. I ripped the door open and took a step back. Three walkers came out of the closet.
I didn't hesitate to back up some more to get some space. Daryl took the first one down quickly. I whistled at the one closest to me only to attract the other along with it. "Damn it," I mumbled. I turned around knowing that it wasn't the best idea to turn my back to the other walker.
I stabbed the once facing me when I felt the dead hands of the other walker grab ahold of me. I felt its teeth stink into my jacket and I screamed. "Emery!" I heard Daryl scream. I elbowed the walker and turned around to grab it. I shoved it against the rail.
I didn't hesitate to stab it before kicking it over the edge and having myself fall to the ground. "Emery," Daryl was in front of me now grabbing my arms shaking me lightly. I opened my eyes as my breath slowly. "It's okay," I said while stripping off my jacket.
Daryl started looking over my arms to see if there were any bites or scratches. I grabbed his face. "It's okay. I'm okay it only got through my jacket," I said. Daryl smashed his lips to mine in a heart wrenching kiss. It felt like he was bruising my lips from kissing me so hard.
Once he pulled back I gave him a small smile. "I'm okay," Daryl helped me off the ground and we went to find Merle and Sophia. "Daryl," I said. He looked over at me. "Don't tell Sophia about this," I said my voice trailing off slightly. I didn't want her to worry.
Daryl gave me a slight nod before reaching over and squeezing my hand. "Don't beat yourself up about it either," I told him. I knew he would because he would feel like he wasn't 'watching' me. Daryl sighed and nodded slightly though I knew inside he still felt bad.
We had found Merle and Sophia and we had checked the rest of the boat. It seemed clear. As we were walking off the boat I stopped. Daryl's shoulder slammed into me. "Shh," I said as I pointed towards Daryl's truck. It wasn't walkers it was humans snooping around the truck.
Daryl and Merle both shoved me back towards Sophia. I reached around to the back of my pants and felt the gun sticking out slightly. "Alright let's go," I looked down to see that Sophia didn't even looked phased by these people she looked prepared.
"Aye! You best be stepping back from there," Merle growled at the three goons that were looting in the back of the truck. Sophia had her small hand gun in front of her which wasn't visible to the three because Daryl was covering her. My fingers itched to grab mine.
I noticed Daryl's crossbow trained on one of the bigger ones as Merle had his pistol at his side. The men all had their guns trained on me. "You left the truck sitting, looks like it's ours now," one of them said. I scoffed and Merle reached back and placed his hand on my stomach as if telling me to hush.
"You got women behind you?" another asked. "Yeah, we haven't had a nice piece of ass in weeks," the last one piped in. Daryl growled and trained his crossbow on the last one while Merle sized the other two. "You ain't gonna be touching my sister or my niece," Merle said.
I tried to stay focused but hearing Merle call us his family made me smile. A gun shot rang out and I held my breath as I waited for Merle or Daryl to drop. To my surprise I watched as one of the men on the opposite side dropped from a wound to the chest.
I looked down to see that Sophia had her gun pointed in between Daryl and Merle's arms. They never saw it coming. "Fucking hell," I growled. Merle pulled the trigger on his pistol as another fell. Daryl released his crossbow and the last guy fell.
I slowly took Sophia's gun away from her and tucked it into my pocket. Her hands were shaking and her eyes were wide. "We need to get on that boat," I said knowing that the gun shots have probably attracted some unwanted company. Daryl nodded and we all got in the truck.
We drove up the ramp and put the truck in park. Daryl Merle and I grabbed the ropes to the ramp and pulled. It didn't budge. "It has to be power operated," I said while placing my hands on my hips. Daryl and Merle nodded. "I'll be back," Merle said.
Daryl and I shook our heads as Merle stalked off. Daryl and I started unpacking our bags from the back as Sophia joined us. "We'll get our own rooms," I said a little too excitedly. Daryl chuckled a little while throwing one of the bags over his shoulder.
"We still need to stick close though," I nodded and we started to walk in the direction Merle headed. We heard a thud behind us and turned around to see the ramp being pulled in and a gate closing in its place so the truck wouldn't fall out. I smiled a little.
"Well, I guess Merle found the electric," I said. We could hear the anchor being lifted and I sighed a little. Merle was actually smarter than anyone gave him credit for. Suddenly the ship lurched forward a little as it dragged against the bottom of the ocean.
"I don't know how I feel about Merle steering this boat," I said. Daryl snorted as we walked into the room where Merle. He hit a few buttons and sat back. "This is easy," he said while placing his hands behind his head. We all chuckled as I patted Merle on the shoulder.
"We're gonna go find some rooms close to this room," Daryl said. Sophia decided to stay behind with Merle. "Please tell me this is too good to be true," I said once we were alone. Daryl shrugged a little. "I know. I feel the same way about it," he said.
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "It's just weird that we would find something this good," I said. Daryl nodded slightly. We found a room and opened it. It had one king size bed with a window looking out and an attached bathroom. Daryl and I dropped our bags.
We gave Merle the room across from us and the room beside his would be Sophia's. Daryl and sat on the bed and I sighed a little kicking off my boots. I couldn't remember the last time I had taken them off. Daryl wrapped an arm around me.
I leaned my head on his shoulder and sighed again. Daryl squeezed me lightly as if reading my thoughts. Daryl and I both lay back on the bed and I laid my head on his chest snuggling into him more. I knew we were both thinking the same thing. This could be too perfect.
