Dean POV
"Excuse me Mr. Molina, may I please go to the bathroom?" I ask as I raise my hand.

"Fine Mr. Winchester, you have five minutes." He says with a sigh and I get up and walk to the bathroom.

I walk past many stalls. I finally find one that is open and clean. When I finish my business I go to the sink to wash my hands, but I see something in the mirror and look back to investigate.

"Oh. My. God." I whisper shout when I see a kid in a tan trench coat hanging from a rope. I run over and cut the ropes with my pocket knife. I found a pulse and ran out to find help.

*a few hours later when Cas wakes up*

Cas POV
How am I alive? I ask myself wondering who stopped me from hanging myself. For sure it had to be the teachers.

I opened my eyes and looked around to see a someone sitting next to my hospital bed. but not just someone, this was Dean Winchester, the school bad boy.
And my first crush ever.

"Why are you here Dean?" I ask just a bit more rude than intended.

"I found you, hanging in the bathroom in school." He says, a look of understanding and sadness on his face, but not a trace of pity.

"Please don't tell anyone!" I say looking at him with worry and a slight hint of fear.

"Dont worry, I won't." He says pulling my phone out of his pocket and handing it to me.

"I thought you might get bored in here when I leave so I got you your phone." He says giving me a sad smile.

"Why are you being so nice?" I ask taking the phone.

"Cause I know how you feel." He says looking at a spot on the wall to his left.

"Really? Are you sure about that?" I ask him.

"Yes, goodbye Cas." He says then walks out of the room.

"My name is Castiel." I whisper under my breath to no one in particular.

Cas POV
I decide to crawl through the window to avoid my abusive father but of course with my luck I could be eaten by a vampire.

"Why are you late home Castiel?" Chuck asks when I get my whole body through the window.

"I was in the hospital." I say slightly scared.

"Why?" He asks as he pops his knuckles.

"I, um..." I didn't finish the sentence.

"TELL ME." He says grabbing my collar and yelling in my face.

"I tried to kill myself!" I say closing my eyes to avoid looking at him.

"Okay, I'll go get your brother Gabriel." He says as he walks out of the room. Lucifer and Gabriel run in.

"Are you okay little bro?" Gabriel asks as he checks me for wounds.

"What happened?" Lucifer asks as he steps back to let Gabriel check me for wounds.

"What is this?" Gabriel asks as he looks at where the rope was.

"It is rope burn." I say looking at my feet.

"Cas! What did you do?" They ask at the same time.

"I tried to kill myself in the school's bathroom." I whisper, but they both hear me. Gabriel pulls me into a bone crushing hug and Lucifer joins.

Lucifer and Gabriel are the only ones who care about me in the family.

"Dont ever do that again!" Gabriel says as they both pull back.

"Cas, pull up your sleeves." Lucifer says. I shake my head in refusal.

"Do it or I will!" They both said at the same time.

I pull up my sleeves and the gasp at the scars on my arms.
My battle scars.
