  LILITH TYRELL WAS ONCE heir to Highgarden. The firstborn child of Lord Mace Tyrell and Lady Alerie Tyrell, she was said to be the most beautiful baby in the Seven Kingdoms. Her beauty garnered her the name, "The Rose of Highgarden," a name that has stuck with her ever since. But as much as her parents adored her, House Tyrell required a male heir.

  When her brother Willas was born, her status was revoked, not that she even knew it, being only two years of age. Then a year later, Garlan was born, followed by Loras and ending with Margaery, her only sister. Despite the reasons for her siblings' births, Lilith loved them all. She grew up alongside her brothers, learning how to use a sword and fight the same as them.

  But her Grandmother, Olenna Tyrell, had other plans. In her words, "Lilith has been left unattended for far too long." So, when she reached the age of thirteen, she began learning how to be a lady. Tears were shed for her blade as she left it behind.

  Years passed and Lilith was officially a Lady of House Tyrell. She was clean and proper, knew how to curtsy, and which fork to use at dinner time. Her grandmother had trained her well. But so had Garlan. In secret, he continued his sisters' training, teaching her what he had learned the day prior. By the age of twenty, Lilith was the deadliest woman in Highgarden.

  With her age, however, came a slew of proposals. Men from all over Westeros came for a chance to wed the Rose of Highgarden. Much to her father's dismay, Lilith was a stubborn woman. She denied every man that step foot into her home.

  So, Mace Tyrell made a choice; he would take his daughter to the court of King's Landing, where she could not run away from her 'destiny'.
