Diamond's POV

"Ok guys, I will be assigning you your partners for the project" Mr. Louis said.

Sam and I were in music class right now. After I told Sam that we have music class together he stopped skipping the class because of Britney and actually came.

Once the teacher mentioned partners Britney and Ashley perked up. They both winked at each other as if they know something no one else knew about.

Britney's face looked the same but Ashley's left cheek had a shoe print.

What happened there?

I looked away from the clowns and paid attention to Mr. Louis.

"Britney and cameron. Ashley and jason..." Mr. Louis couldn't even finish what he was saying.

Britney already interupted him.

"THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT" she screamed at Mr. Louis.

"Well Ms. Burke money doesn't solve anything in my class. I don't take bribes. I paired Sam with Diamond and that's final" Mr. Louis said as the whole class looked at Britney in disgust.

She seriously paid Mr. Louis so she could be Sam's partner. After all the things Sam says to her you would think she got the hint and leave him alone.

"As I was saying before I was rudely inturpted Diamond and Sam. Megan with Vincent. Amber with Damian. Now everyone find your partners and pick a song that you'll be performing next class" Mr. Louis said.

Everyone got up and went to their partners. Luckily I was already sitting next to my partner.

"So what song do you wanna sing baby girl"

"I want to sing James Arthur say you won't let go"

"You got it baby girl"

We listened to the song first then we started playing with the melody a little bit.

I started singing then Sam joined. I was shocked. Sam had the voice of an angel.

His voice was deep but soft at the same time. He had so much control in his voice.

He didn't even notice I stopped singing with him. He was so into the song. His eyes were closed and everything.

When he hit the last note his eyes opened back up. He ran his hands through his hair and took a deep breathe.

"How was that?"

I couldn't even answer him. It's like his voice put me in a trance.

Who would have though that Mr. Popular knows how to sing.

"Baby girl" he said as he waved in front of my face.

I shook my head. I told him it was great and we continued changing the melody.

While we were practicing I felt like someone was staring at me. I looked around the room, trying to find who it was.

I looked to the front of the room and I saw Britney just staring holes into the side of my face.

She had a real bitter look on her face. Like she wanted to kill me.

I blew her a kiss and kept it pushing.

She probably thinks that she's off the hook. She's just sitting pretty. Little did she know she has something coming for her.

Real soon too.

Lunch

Sam and I were walking to our table with our food in our hands.

Sam got a cheeseburger with fries and a can of sprite.

I got some spaghetti with shrimp, two donuts and a naked juice.

"Whatcha guys up to" I asked as I sat down at the table. Noah and Ruby was already seated at the table when we sat down.

Noah was his normal self but Ruby looked a little anxious. It's like she wanted to tell us something.

"What's wrong Ruby"?

"I have something to tell you guys"

"What is it?"

"I'm an orphan" she quietly said.

My spoon dropped. I looked over at Sam who had the same reaction I did.

"Don't you live with your mom?"

"Nope. She put me up for adoption when I was days old"

Noah pulled her to his side and kissed her forehead. Sam and got up and pulled her into a big hug.

"It doesn't matter. You're still our friend. Are you okay?" I said as I felt something warm slide down my back.

"As long as you guys are still my friend I'm okay"

"Why wouldn't we be your friend?"

We pulled away from her and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Whenever I tell someone that I'm an orphan they stop being my friend" Ruby said.

"Just because someone lives in an orphanage it doesn't mean that they're less human. We still love you" Sam said.

After everything was cleared up we started talking and came to an agreement that we have to go to Ruby's place one day.

"Well, look who it is" a high pitched voice said.

I didn't have to turn around for me to know it was Britney. No one had that annoyingly high voice.

What does she want now?

Sam's POV

"What the hell do you went" my baby girl said with her back facing Britney.

"I just came to ask you how's your foot" Britney said sarcastically.

Diamond's teeth clenched as she heard what Britney said. I whispered 'the plan' in her ears. She automatically calmed down and smirked.

"I suggest you leave before my foot find it's way up your ass" Diamond said as she twirled some spaghetti in her fork.

Britney slapped the fork out of Diamond's hand causing her spaghetti to spill on the floor.

That was Britney's first mistake.

She messed with Diamond's food.

"Do you really wanna know how my foot is doing"

Before Britney could make a smart response Diamnond used her rock hard cast to kick Britney in the shin.

She immediately collapsed to the floor, clutching her foot.

"Oh no don't do that" I said casually as I sipped on my sprite.

Everyone in the cafeteria just looked at Britney, rolled their eyes, then looked away.

They know that Britney had it coming. She put a hole on Diamond's foot for God's sake.

Ashley was about to step on Diamond's foot but she was too slow.

Diamond already used her cast to stomp on her toes.

Seconds later Ashley joined her best friend on the ground.

If they're in pain now just they wait. The plan we have coming for them is something they're not gonna see coming.

Diamond sat back down and continued where she left off. After a couple of minutes Britney and Ashley stood up.

Britney's shin had a cut in it and Ashley's toes were fire red.

This was noting compared to what they did to Diamond's foot. Diamond had to get surgery. All they have to do is ice their cuts and bruises.

"You'll pay" Britney said as she limped away with Ashley in tow.

I could say the same thing to them.

"So Diamond what are you doing on Friday" I asked nervously.

While I was in class my mom texted me to remind me that I had to invite Diamond over for dinner.

I didn't want to but knowing my mom she would find out where Diamnond live and invite her herself.

"Nothing why" she said as she bit into one of her donuts.

"My parents want to eat dinner with you on friday" I said quickly.

Well the hard part is done.

She started to cough uncontrollably. I patted her back trying to help her breathe.

She grabbed my sprite and drunk from it. After a few pats she sobered up and looked at me.

"What did you say?"

"My parents, mostly my mom, wants to meet you"

"What if they don't like me?" She asked me looking down at the last donut on her plate.

"Why wouldn't she love you. Your fucking awesome" I said as I kissed her nose.

"I'll go" she said as she giggled from my smothering kisses.

"Wait tomorrow's Friday" she added.

I nodded my head and took a sip of her naked.

"Haha you have to go to dinner with his parents on Friday" Noah taunted Diamond.

"My mom invited you two too" I said with an evil smile on my face.

"Damn it Sam, you should have told me that before I started to bother Diamond. Now I look dumb"

"You always look dumb" we all said at the same time.

Being the drama queen that he was a fake tear ran down his cheeks. He fanned his face trying to dry them.

"Put a sock in it Noah" we said in unison.

Our eyes roamed the table then we all busted out laughing. How did we say the exact same thing twice?

"Do you want me to pick you up?" I asked her.

"I don't want you to wait 3 hours while I try to look perfect for your parents" she said while shrugging.

"You don't have to look perfect my love. Just come as you are" I whispered in her ear.

She nodded her head and kissed my cheek.

For the rest of lunch we just chilled and talked about random things.

All I said was my wrist was hurting and Diamond automatically grabbed a fry and put it in my mouth.

During the rest of lunch period she kept on feeding me fries.

The bell rung for next period and we all went our separate way.

At home

"Honey I'm home" I said as I walked into my house.

My mom always calls me weird for saying that everytime I walk into the house. I've been doing it since 6th grade, I can't stop doing it now.

"I'm in here honey" she screamed from the kitchen.

My mom is just like my grandma. She's in the kitchen 24/7. The only time she leaves is when she goes to work.

Every Monday night she sleeps in the kitchen so once she wakes up she can make breakfast for us.

After she's done cooking she goes to wash her face and brush her teeth. She always makes sure we're fed first.

I walked into the kitchen and surprise surprise my mom was cooking. I kissed her head and leaned over her.

"Whatcha making?" I asked as I tried to figure out what she made.

"I'm making beef stew"

"Thanks for cooking for us mom"

I kissed her cheek and sat down on one of the dinning room seats.

"Did you invite Diamond to dinner tomorrow?"

The worst part about my mom is that she has great memory. You could tell her something 5 years ago and til this day she will remember what you said word for word.

"Yes and I also invited Noah and his girlfriend"

"The more the merrier" my mom said happily.

She always wants an excuse to cook for a family of 20 even though there is only 4 of us in the house.

Before I could say something else my dog, cut throat, ran into the kitchen.

Cut throat was my Siberian husky with blue eyes and brown and white fur.

I had him ever since he was a puppy.

He was being abused by his home owners at the time. I took him in and cleaned him up. He was very aggressive at first but once he got used to my family and I he was happier.

We have a bed set up for him in the living room but everytime I wake up he ends up next to me.

I don't mind since he's doesn't bother me.

After playing with cut throat I went up to my room to finish up my homework.

"I'm bored" I said after just looking at my worksheet.

I picked up my phone and called Diamnond. I rather talk to my princess then die of bordem doing homework.

"Hi sammy" Diamond said after the first ring.

"Hi baby, whatcha doing"

"I'm at the mall" she said.

"Why are you at the mall?"

"Sam I can't meet your mom wearing ripped jeans, sweatpants, or booty shorts. I had to go shopping"

"You could wear booty shorts in my room" I mumbled to myself.

"What was that?"

"I said who's with you. I don't want you getting hurt especially since your foot is broken" I said truthfully. I really am worried about her.

"Don't worry baby, I'm with Ruby"

I heard Ruby say hi Sam next to Diamond. As long as she was with someone I was okay with it.

"I'll let you continue shopping then. I love you, good night"

"Good night daddy, I love you too"

It's been a while since she called me daddy. I love when she calls me daddy.

I took off my pants and shirt, leaving me in my underwear. I pulled my blanket back and laid in bed.

My eyes slowly closed. I went to sleep with a smile on my face.

I can't wait to see my baby girl tomorrow.
