Ruby's POV
(When she found out she was pregnant)

This can't be happening. I refuse to believe it.

It's been exactly two weeks after Noah and I's honeymoon and I was sitting on our bed with a positive pregnancy test in my hand.

We said we were gonna wait at least a month after we got married to try having a baby. That plan didn't go well.

I knew something would happen once Noah suggested that we spend the whole day inside isolated from everyone else.

I took out my phone and called the first person that came to mind. Diamond.

She has kids of her own that she's taking care of just fine. The only thing that's corrupting them is Noah. He seems to expand their already colorful vocabulary almost every day.

"Hi bitchhhhh"

Diamond answered the phone. That's how she always answer the phone when the kids aren't around.

"Hi big sis. Can we talk?"

"I don't even know what it is and you're scaring me already"

"IjustfoundoutImtwoweekspregnant"

"What? Can you say that much slower please"

"I just found out I'm two weeks pregnant"

The line was quiet for about two minutes. I thought she hung up but, she was still there. I heard her breathing and the line didn't disconnect.

"YESSSS!! YOU'RE PREGNANT!! DOES THE ASSHOLE KNOW YET. I WANNA SEE HIS DUMB FACE WHEN HE FINDS OUT"

Diamond literally screamed. I shushed her fearing that Sam was around her. She just scoffed.

"He's not here. The CEO of Greene inc. can't be late to run his own company sis"

"You're right. I still don't know how I'm going to tell him though"

"I have an idea but, you have to come over immediately"

"I'm on my way"

During dinner

I invited everyone over to our house for dinner. Even though Chris was busy running a company and Rose was his secretary they still managed to make it.

Everyone knew I was pregnant except for Noah. I wanted to see his reaction when he finds out I'm having a baby girl or boy.

Diamond, Sam, Noah, Rose, Chris, and I were currently playing Uno on the patio while the kids were in the bouncy house I got for them.

The adults were all huddled in a little corner taking shit about it. I knew they were because they would casually turn around, laugh, and say 'you're right she does have a big head'.

After many rounds of Uno we all went inside to eat the dinner I made which consisted of fries, chicken, and bread. I also made some ice tea and lemonade and threw it in a gallon.

I also put some ketchup and mayo in a little container next to the chicken. That's the secret sause.

After we finished praying over the food we immediately dived in. The kids were more eager than us. Kathrine took about eight chicken pieces. Miracle took even more than that.

As I was eating I was nervous as hell. Noah's reaction to the news was bothering me. I kept on playing different scenarios in my head.

You can just imagine how I felt when Diamond winked at me signaling for me to do it. We had already planned all this out.

"Who's ready for dessert?" Everyone screamed in happiness. The loudest one was Noah though.

"You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream" Noah yelled. Can you believe I'm married to this man child. I question that almost everyday when he goes to sleep in his Spongebob footie pajamas.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed two tubs of ice cream, bowls, and Noah's surprise. I don't know how I juggled all those things.

I placed the ice cream on the table and immediately stepped back. I don't want those vultures to eat my hands off.

Noah was about to get ice cream but, I stopped him. It have to tell him now.

I placed a brown box in front. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion as the top of the box said open me.

He shrugged his shoulders and opened the box. Once he did he let out a gasp. I guess my message was clear.

Inside the box was a giant chocolate chip cookie with blue and pink frosting on it that said thanks for knocking me up.

"Are you serious?" He asked as his voice cracked. I nodded my head. Everyone cheered and threw streamers at us.

He looked down at my stomach and tears came streaming down his face. He got on his knees and wrapped his hand around my stomach as he kissed it.

"I promise to protect you and watch over. I also promise to keep Sam's  head ass away from you as well. He still owes me my money too"

Everyone laughed at the last part. Sam   mumbled a few choice words under his breathe and rolled his eyes at Noah.

After our little moment Noah got up and took his seat again. I was about to sit down too but he pulled me on his lap.

"I get a big ole cookie all to myself"
Noah said as he added some vanilla ice cream on top.

"Hey that's not fair. I want some cookie"

"I'll give you some later"

Diamond said with a wink. Sam's face lit up as he caught what she said. He smiled at her and whispered something in her ear. They're a disturbing pair.

As Noah was eating his dessert his hands were on my stomach rubbing it. He took a piece of cookie and ice cream and held it up to my mouth.

"Now I'll have a princess and a queen walking around my house"

"What if it's a boy? I can't handle a mini Noah"

I jokingly said. We laughed and Noah got back to eating.

As I looked around the table I couldn't help but smile. This is all I ever wanted. A stable group of people in
my life.

Living in an orphanage for fifteen years of my life made me a stronger person. Having Noah and my family by my side has made me even more stronger.

I can't wait for my baby to come into this world. They're already my world and she isn't even born yet. And yes I said she. I'm claiming it's a girl right now.

"Are you ready to explore another chapter of our lives"

"As long as I'm with you I'm ready for anything"
