Roshan POV:

I was so happy that she feels the same way to me like I do. I did feel bad that I upset her from morning. But I wanted to make sure that she is in the same place as me. When I was talking to Nia, she said that Ashni also likes me and said that she can prove it to me. That's when she started to grow close to me, to make Ashni jealous and it actually worked.

Nia just came to meet me. She had no intentions to get back. And we have been best friends from childhood, and everyone thought that we will be a great couple and mentally we were forced to date but we eventually realised we are better off as friends.

Now after dinner, Priyam said he will drop off Nia. I am taking Ashni to her home.

"I am so happy." I said.

Ashni and Roshan all happy 👆

"Why?" She asked. Is she serious now?

"Because I saw Nia today." I said to irritate her. Then she started to hit me.

"Hey, stop. I am driving. We can end up in a accident." I said.

"Good that. Remember, you will live with me or die with me now. You have no choice." She said. I smiled at her.

"Are you happy?" I asked her.

"More than you can think." She replied and held my hand with a smile.

This is just a dream come true. Feeling like it is finally my time to be happy and have a love in life. 💜💜

In no time we reached her home, and I hated it. I couldn't spend much of a alone time with her as everyone was with us.

"Ashni, let's go out somewhere tomorrow, just us. No one else. I couldn't spend more time with you today. Just us." I said.

"Okay fine. Just us." She replied.

"Is it okay if I come inside.? Meet your parents." I asked her.

She kept thinking, but didn't answer.

"It's okay, if you don't want to tell your parents yet." I said.

"What? No. Not at all. I never hide anything from them. And actually when I was about to started work at the hospital, they encouraged me to find someone there. Because they also met at the hospital they worked and the rest is a history. And they are also aware of you, like a someone special in my life. It's just that they wedding anniversary in a month. And I want to surprise them then. It will be special." She said.

"Oh like that. That's not a bad idea." I said. And gave her a light peck on lips. She became shy.

"Okay. I will go now. Bye. Good night 💜" she said. I wished her back. She left the car.

Then I left to my home. When I went in, I saw my dad coming out of kitchen. May be he finished his dinner. He saw me.

"You seem very happy. It's so nice to see you smile again. Stay happy." He said that and went back to his room. He also smiled after so long, and the reason is that I smiled.

I really don't know if I already forgave him or still mad at him. I don't know. And I don't want think about any of these. I am finally with Ashni. I went back to room and texted her for last time for today.

Ashni POV:

I was sooooooooooooo happyyyyyyyyyyy. I went inside dancing like a kid.

"Oh someone seems to be happy." My mom said.

"I am very very happy today." I said.

Ashni 👆

"So what happened?" Dad asked.

"Ahh. I had a lot of fun with kids in the hospital." I said.

"Oh. You are Xerox copy of your mom." Dad said.

"And I am proud of it." Mom added with a wide smile.

"Haha. I am going to bed. Good night 😊" I said. They wished me back.

When I freshened up and came back, I saw so many messages from Roshan. And immediately I smiled. This guy is driving me crazy now.

All the messages are about how much he loves me. I replied back that I love him too. I couldn't stop thinking about what our first official date ever. He will definitely do his best. And with that thought I went to sleep. But basically into a fairytale dream where he is my prince.

The next day when I went to the hospital, I went straight to his office.

"Wohooo. What happened?" He asked me as he sees me.

"What? I wanted to see you." I said.

"Come here." Saying this he pulled me into hi lap.

"Hey, anyone come in." I said being concious that we are in office.

"You wanted to see me right." He said holding me close to him while I am sitting on his lap.

"Yes. But this is not place for romance." I said. But to be frank, I like being with him like that.

"Really. You are enjoying it." He said caressing my cheek. He reads me perfectly.

Ashni and Roshan 👆

We both were like that for a minute or so. He kept gazing into my eyes and I can see how much he loves me. His pure smile, and happiness in his eyes says it all. In a while, he started to move close. And I didn't move. But suddenly,

"Roshan.....ohhh... I am so sorry." We heard from the door. I didn't even look back, I just hide myself in him.

"Get the hell out of here." Roshan said irritated. It was Dr. Priyam. OMG.

"This is what I was talking about." I hit him saying this.

"Hey don't hit me. You are the one who came running to me and I couldn't myself away from you." He said.

"Now let me go. I will go and we will meet in the evening for our official first date." I said and got up from his lap and moved towards the door.

"Okay my lady." He said and turned towards his files on table.

But before going, I ran to him and gave him a kiss on cheek and ran out to the interns room, but I heard him saying

"Come on, give me a real one now." He said. But I left to the room.

When I went in, everyone was there and getting ready for their duty.

"So, how was your morning romance session?" Ahana asked.

"What?" I tried to act innocent.

"You know Ashni, Ahana was with Dr. Priyam." Icha said.

Oh shoot. I didn't know. So she told them everything.

"Oh it was nothing like that. We were just hugging." I said still not looking at them.

"Oh yaaaaaa." They all said it together. OMG. They are not going to leave me. Will they?

"Anrag, don't tell anyone at home anything. I want to surprise everyone at anniversary function next month." I said trying a little to divert the topic.

"Okay. But be careful. If he hurt you, you will let me know." He said. I assured him that Roshan will not hurt me at any cost and I just know it.

I left for my duty and started to concentrate on my work. I was half way through my day and I bumped into Priyam. OMG, I have to face him now.

"Hi Ashni. " He said.

"Hi Dr. Priyam." I said being embarrassed of what he saw in the morning.

"Ashni, it's okay. I am just happy for you both. Well more for him. He looks so happy." He said.

"Thanks a lot." I said with a smile.

"But just avoid office for your romance." He said and left laughing.

Oh no. Ok ok Ashni. Last day for the week, you have to just get through this one day, then we will not see anyone and they will forget it.

"Ashni, don't forget, we are meeting on Sunday too for Dr. Lilly lunch plan." Icha said on the way out of my ward. Oh shoot, did I say it out loud. I am embarrassing myself a lot today. 😭😭😭

I went to cafe for a coffee because of everything 🙈. When I went there, I saw Roshan there. We both smiled at eachother immediately.

We both took our mugs and went out to the window at the corner of the corridor.

"What happened? You look stressed." He asked. I told him what happened with Dr. Priyam and Icha.

"Wow. These people are on to us and can read our minds very well. I face this all the time with Priyam. Whenever I used to think or ask questions about you in my mind, he immediately used to answer. Ahhh." He said and I laughed.

"So what and all you used to think about me before all of this?" I asked.

"A lot of things. How to push you away from me. And how to not to think about you all the time." He said.

"Wow. So you didn't want me in your life ha." I exclaimed.

"Not that way. As I said, I didn't believe in love. So never wanted to fall in love or have a girlfriend. That's why. But your charm, your smile, your soul never gave up on me." He said.

"How sweet. I love you." I said.

"I love you more and you will see that tonight." He said.

"I can't wait. But anyway I have to get back to duty now. Bye see you in the evening." I said and gave me a hug. I like all of it. Not just like but I am loving it being in love and to experience all of it.

W

ith the day, here and there chit chats and glances, it was already evening and now I am in interns room and ready to go for my date. Everyone came back too. And after two minutes Dr. Priyam came in.

"So guys what plans for the evening?" He asked, but he kept looking at Ahana. Now I know what to do.

"Oh nothing. Dr. Roshan and Ashni are going on their first date." Icha said.

"Oh first date, what have been doing in the past dinner dates they had." He commented and all laughed.

"Those were not dates." I said defending myself.

"Ya just two colleagues who went on lunches and dinners and kissed without romance." Priyam said.

"What?????" Everyone screamed. What the hell. I did my face in my palms.

"Nooo." I screamed.

"Oh relax. It's just a kiss on forehead but a romantic one. Right Ashni." Priyam said.

"Priyam, go and say goodbye to your friend, because I am going to kill tonight." I said and they laughed.

"Hello everyone." Right then Roshan came in. I gave him a big glare. And they all gave him silly smiles.

"What happened?" He said.

"I will tell you what happened mister. Let's go." I said. He was confused a lot.

"Guys, why don't you all go for dinner. So that my parents don't get any idea of us." I said. Frankly I wanted to give Priyam and Ahana a chance.

"I am okay with it." Priyam said with a great smile.

We all went in our ways. Roshan was driving the car.

"What happened? Why are you pissed off?" He asked.

"You told Priyam about our kisses?!!!" I asked.

"What? I mean..." He didn't say much. He hit him.

"Sorry sorry. " He said laughing.

"I just told him about the forehead kisses. Nothing more." He said.

"Well now he told everyone. You don't be with them all the time. I will be. They know what happened in the morning too. Now they will never stop teasing me." I said.

"It's good." He said.

"What?" I was confused now.

"That way they all know you are mine." He said.

"Okay fine. But don't tell anymore details to him." I requested. He took my hand and kissed.

"Sure. I am sorry." He said. I said it's okay.

"Okay so where are we going now?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He said. I smiled at him and we kept talking about our day at the hospital.

While we were talking we reached the Daba. It's a Punjabi Daba.

"Wow. Perfect date." I said and got out of the car. I know many must be thinking that this is not a great date, but for me it is. I love punjabi food and this is my favourite place to have one. It's not always about fancy place and expensive things. Some times, some people even love the simple things. I am glad that he got me here.

"Thanks a lot for this. It's a perfect way to end the day." I said holding his hand.

"I know that you love simple things. That's why I chose this place. However last time we had a fancy date." He said.

We sat at the table, still holding hands.

"Yes. But what do you like ? Fancy or simple like this?" I asked him.

"It depends, sometimes I like staying home too." He said.

"Like watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S eating pizza, french fries, and a blanket." I said.

"That's the perfect one." He said. He is mostly like me. And I love it. We soon gave our order.

We finished eating and by the end when I observed there is no one else left in the Daba.

"Oh wow. Everyone left. Did we stay and eat for so long?" I said.

"No. There is no one, so that we can have privacy." He said. What???

"Ashni come here." Saying this he pulled me out of the table.

"Ashni, I had a lot of insecurities, I didn't want to end up and die like my mom believing in love, I never wanted to be a father like mine. I never wanted to be close to anyone else. I never wanted anyone else in my life other than my sister Mayuri and Priyam. I felt like I was safe only with these two. I felt like only they won't hurt me, but others will. When I first saw you, I started to get attracted to you, pulled to you every minute and second. And as I told you, I tried to pull away and hate you. But it wasn't possible. I fell hard for you, really hard that I realised that I can't live without you in life. You became reason for my smile, for my happiness. Can you believe I became soft to my dad whom I hated for years now because he was the reason for my mom's death. But I became so soft to him, because of you. You changed me. For good. Thanks for coming into my life, for being patient with me, for never giving up on me, for sticking with me when I was rude to you and tried to put you down. Thanks for becoming my happiness and my life.

So a small gift for my sunshine. Here..." He started to put a bracelet on my hand.

When I looked at it close, it was a bracelet with our names engraved on it. Ashni 💜 Roshan. I was in lost of words. And there were crackers all over the sky.

I started to cry. The moment is just perfect. He didn't propose me, it would be too soon also. He just acknowledge my place in his life and heart and I loved the fact that he accepted me the way I am and he let me be a part of his life. And loved his confession about his love to me.

"Please don't cry. Please. I don't want to be the reason for your tears." He said.

"You are not. You are the reason for my happiness too. Thanks for coming into my life, thanks for letting me to change you for good. And I really hope that you don't get bored of me and we grow old together." I said.

"No. I will never be bored by you. I love you." He said and kissed my forehead.

"I love you too." I said.

"Are you happy?" He asked.

"More than you can think." I said.

"Okay, let's go to your another favourite place." He said.

"Where?" I asked.

"Another surprise. Let's go." He said. We paid the bill and left the place. On the way.

"When did you get this bracelet?" I asked.

"Frankly, few days back when I was sure of you. I thought I will confess my feelings to you and then give you this." He said.

"That's so sweet and this gift is very thoughtful." I said. Soon we reached chai stall which I like.

"OMG. This day can't get anymore perfect." I said.

"I am glad that I made you happy." He said.

"Not just happy, you made me feel loved and safe with you." I said. He just took hand and held me assuring that he will be with me forever without any words. Gestures also speak 1000 words.

We had and left the place, as it was late, he dropped me home this time, before my dad can call us again this time.

"Thanks for the dinner and this date. This is more than just perfect. I love you." I said.

"I love you too. Can I pick you up Tomo for Dr. Lilly lunch plan." He asked.

"Sure. But don't ditch me like last time." I said. He laughed.

"I won't. Good night my love." He said and kissed my forehead. And with that I went inside.

This is just perfect. I am loving it and I feel with him I can defeat any problem in life.
