Third Person POV
Jeff was pleased that Barcode did not keep him waiting. As soon as he had texted Barcode that he was at the gate Barcode had come rushing out and had jumped into his car.
"No good morning kiss?" Jeff asked.
Barcode dutifully leaned in his seat towards Jeff and planted a kiss on his cheek.
For some reason, Jeff felt a little sad that he had to ask for a kiss every time he and Barcode met and before every time he and Barcode parted. He had hoped that just for once Barcode would do it of his own accord.
Barcode almost jumped in his seat when Jeff honked hard and long at a motorist who overtook them and almost sideswiped his car.
"Hey, phi," said Barcode, "try to keep your cool. Not a good way to start a Monday."
"I'm sorry," Jeff said, upset with himself for losing control of his emotions.
Soon they reached the main gate of Barcode's university.
Jeff had to drop Barcode off at the gate because his car did not have the sticker required to allow him to enter the campus.
"Thank you for the ride, phi," Barcode said, turning to Jeff with a smile as he unbuckled his safety belt.
"No goodbye kiss?" Jeff asked, hating himself for having to ask Barcode for a goodbye kiss.
Barcode was about to lean towards Jeff to give him a peck on the cheek when they both heard a loud tap on the window.
It was Aun, Barcode's classmate and one of those that Barcode usually hung out with after class hours.
"I have to go, thanks again for the ride." Barcode said as he stepped out of Jeff's car.
Jeff watched as Barcode walked inside the campus with Aun, painfully realizing that Barcode had not given him the goodbye kiss that he had asked for.
"So your uncle gives you free rides to uni now, huh." Aun teased Barcode.
"Stop referring to him as my uncle," Barcode scolded Aun.
"But he is old enough to be your uncle," Aun insisted.
Barcode was about to continue arguing with Aun when he spotted Ken coming into the campus from a side gate, the gate where buses dropped off students who didn't drive any car.
Ken!" Barcode called out, waving to him.
Ken turned in the direction of Barcode's voice and waved back.
"Who is he?" Aun asked. "He's very good looking. Is he a new student?"
"That good looking new student lives in my house," Barcode announced to Aun.
"And you expect me to believe you," Aun raised an eyebrow at Barcode.
Barcode rushed over to Ken. Aun followed Barcode close behind.
"Ken, I want you to meet my classmate Aun." Barcode said. "Aun, this is my housemate Ken."
Aun waited for Ken to deny what Barcode said but Ken held out his hand to Aun saying, "Pleased to meet you, Aun."
"So you and Barcode really are housemates?" Aun asked, still unable to believe what Barcode had just said.
"Yes, I am an exchange student from the Philippines and Barcode's parents have generously offered to provide me with accommodation in their house," Ken confirmed.
"Wow," was all Aun could say.
"I have to run," Ken said. "I will be late for my first class."
"Wait," Aun said, "you wanna hang out with Barcode and me during lunch break?"
"I really would like to but I'm expecting a call from Kuya Stell during my lunch break," Ken replied.
"Who is Kuya Stell?" Barcode and Aun asked at the same time.

For those who might not know him, his name is Stellvester Ajero the main vocalist of the Philippine boy group SB19. He is better known simply as Stell.
