Assalam Alaikum! Hello! 

Many, most or some of you have read the FOL series on Wattpad. For Our Love was my first official book on Wattpad, and as I go through it, I realised that the writing in it is not as mature as it should be. I have, in my own opinion, progressed a little in my writing skills, and I want to write FOL again, with a new vision and less plotholes.

*Cough* Biryani was defined as spicy rice *Cough*

Most of the characters are the same, but I have made amendment to some characters, and also introduced a few more.

The story is of Jasmina Sheikh and Fawad Ali. I would like to point out a few things here:

1) I wrote this story because I was a little tired of perfect female leads, and rude, arrogant and dominating male leads. I'm not hating on any stories, but I wanted to write one where the girl is also shown as flawed, and the male lead can be a nice, compassionate person.

2) Fawad is a doctor and Jasmina has lived a sheltered, pampered, carefree life. There is a six/seven years age gap between the though, and there will be a maturity difference (initially). I have tried to write this as realistically as possible. But this story is also about Jasmina's growth.

3) The characters are Muslim, but nobody is perfect. I try to write about Islamic values to the best of my knowledge, but I won't mention things that I am not certain about because I don't want to spread false/uncertain information on Islam.

4) This story shows the Pakistani culture, both the positive and negative aspects. One of the reasons I wrote this book was because I wanted to write about my culture.

5) Everyone can read this story. I will never write anything against any culture/country/religion etc. In return, I would not like any hateful comments against any culture/country/religion, etc either.

Jasmina Sheikh

Age: 24 (at the start of the book)

The youngest and only daughter of Drs Asad & Afreen Sheikh.

Younger sister of Arhaan and Ahad Sheikh.

Pampered, sheltered and privileged in many senses. Grew up with little to no responsibility.

Carefree, kind, loving...but naïve in the worldly sense.

Her one choice caused chaos within two families, but will she get a chance for repentance?

Fawad Ali

Age: 30 (at the start of the book)

The firstborn and only son of Dr Fatima Ali & Dr Ali Mansoor.

Older brother of Fariha Ali.

Brotherly lifetime best friend of Arhaan Sheikh.

Aspiring cardiologist. 

Responsible, mature, patient...but is everyone that perfect? 🤨

He knew that true love was letting go for the sake of her happiness...but what's meant to be will always find its way...

Arhaan Sheikh

Age: 30 (at the start of the book)

Jasmina's eldest brother, and Fawad's best friend.

Aspiring paediatrician.

Loving son, doting elder brother, mature and wise. But again, perfection is not achievable by humans, right?

Ahad Sheikh

Age: 27 (at the start of the book)

The second and middle child of Drs Asad and Afreen Sheikh.

Cheeky, rebellious, streetwise and intelligent; Ahad is the bad boy with brains.

Humans, no matter how good, make mistakes...but will Ahad's mistakes lead to destruction or repentance?

Fariha Ali

Age: 27 (at the start of the book)

The only and youngest daughter of Drs Ali Mansoor & Fatima Ali.

Younger and beloved sister of Fawad.

In a young age, she has faced more hardships than many...but hardships often make us stronger...

And it's always darkest before dawn...

Zafar Farukh

Age: 27 (at the start of the book)

Ahad's childhood best friend, and the human version of Ahad's conscience (in a way).

Our choice of friends can impact our future, and Zafar is that example for Ahad.

Police officer.

Honest, caring and shy.

So, these are the main characters. There will be plenty more as you read along.

I really do hope that you enjoy this new version of 'For Our Love'.
