Kai's POV

I woke up from a noise. I smelled.. fish?
I opened my eyes to see Skylor above the campfire with 2 fishes on a stick.
"Good morning Hot shot." She smiled.
"Hey Skylor, how long are you up?" I stretched my back.
"Not so long, there's a river so i catch some fish." She pull one fish of her stick and give it to me.

I admit it , it looked awful but i don't wanna be the 'I'm not a good boyfriend so screw you' type.
I took a bite and it taste.. delicious.
"Woah , this is delicious Skylor!" I said with a mouth full.
She chuckled "Thanks, my mother learned me how to survival." She took a bite of her fish. "Besides , don't forget i have a restaurant."
I snickered "Yeah that's right."

Then we were ready we decided to leave.
"Okay first we have to go to the north." I said while pointing to.. yeah you know.. the north.
"Okay, let's go." Skylor said confident.
We were walking until we saw some white snow in the distance. There were no houses .
it was just nature. Well.. nature?

"Woa, this looks awesome." I said while walking into the snow.
"Yeah, but what did you father say about monsters and creatures?-" Skylor was cut off by a loud roar.

We turned around to see a big ass monster made of Ice and stones.
"Maybe this?.." i said while walking backwards.
That monster wanted to swing his claw at me but i dodge. I jumped over his arm and landed behind him.
I slash his leg with my katana as fell.

"Woo hoo! We won stupid snowman!" Skylor yelled with victory.
But we cheered to early.
That monster began to stand up and some snow began to attach him.
Now he is 5 times bigger.

"Crap." I muttered.
That monster shoot some ice towards us but we blocked it with our swords.
It shoot again but i used my fire powers to block it. The ice immediately began to melt.
Then a idea came up in my head.
But Skylor interrupted me.

"I have a idea."
"You really read my mind don't ya?" I said while i put my hands on fire.
She did the same and we both attacked the monster at the same time.
It melted and the only thing left was some water and rocks.

Skylor and i did a high five in victory.
"That was.. Awesome!" Skylor almost yelled.
"Yeah , you was amazing." I said.
"You to." She smirked. I didn't notice that i looked dreamily at her.

I quickly shook that of my face "Okay we just have to walk forward until we see the MountainMain." I said.
"Yes, but do you think that there will be a monster like today?" Skylor asked worried.
"I think so" i began to face Skylor "But don't worry, we are stronger than they are, we'll kick their butts." I joked.
She chuckled a little "Thanks Kai."

Unknown POV

"Who are they?" I asked Ray.
"Oh he's nothing.. just a old friend." He responded. I don't believe him.. not at all.
"Is it your son?" I asked. I actually eavesdropped them while they were talking.
"What?! Of course not! I haven't even kids with.. Maya." He said nervously.

I just shrugged "Okay, i'll be back later.. my friend." I walked away from four weapons.
If i kill that red ninja he'll never give that stupid flower to his sister. And then they'll never stand in my way in the future.
Then i can rule Ninjago with my brother.. i just have to wait 40 years...

Cole's POV

Everything seems to go so fast. First Nya is diagnosed with a rare sickness and then Kai and Skylor go to the past to find that flower.
I just hope they'll be okay. I don't like it to see my best friend so.. broken.

I heard a knock on the door. I walked towards it and saw Kai's father and mother.
"Hello Ray and Maya what can i do for you?" I asked polite.
I'm scared to make him angry or something... Jay told me story's..
"Can we see Nya?" Maya asked.
"Of course."
I let them show Nya's room and they immediately walked in.

Nya's POV

I heard my door crack open. I looked up to see my mother and father.
"H-hey mom and dad." I smiled weak.
"Hey honey, are you alright?" My mother asked with worry.
"Well i don't feel so good." I couched after that and my mother put a comforting hand on my back.
"Do you know where Kai is?" My father asked.
Should i tell him? Well lying is wrong..
"Kai is back in time with Skylor." I said weakly.
"What?!" Both my parents almost yelled.
"Why?!" My father asked .

"Kai and Skylor are back in time to find the Fireblossom to heal me." I said, okay i feel guilty , if i wasn't sick none of this would happen.
My mother noticed.

"Honey, it isn't your fault." She smiled.
"But because of me he can be hurt or something.. what if they don't make it.. what if i.. don't make it." I felt tears staining in my eyes.

"What if they did make it, Kai wouldn't give up that easily. You know him." My father said while giving a comforting smile.

I smiled back "Thank you." I hugged them both and they gladly return it.
Yeah.. everything will be alright.

Skylor's POV

Kai and i were walking towards the MountainMain until we saw some rocks.
"I think we are here." I said while looking at Kai.
"Yeah.." he said worried.
"What's wrong?"
He pointed towards a temple made of sharp rocks. Big ass walls surrounded it , we couldn't summon our elemental dragons or else we'll drive to much attention.. only necessary, plus we'll spend our energy.
"That's the only way inside.." Kai said.

"We have no choice, we have to go in there.. for Nya." I said with confident in my voice. But in the inside i was nervous by what we can expect.. monsters?.. creatures?..

"Alright, let's go" Kai said while walking towards the open door.
He lit his right hand on fire and we could see a dark creepy hall. He gulped but walked further. I walked behind him.

I think i stood on something because a part of the floor underneath me sinked a little.
"Kai?" I asked as i came to a stop.
"Yeah?"
"We need to go back" after that i said it a few arrows were shot at us.
We ducked and screamed.

"Okay from now on we need to watch out our steps.. and boobytraps.." Kai said nervously.
