*A week time skip *
(Demi's pov)
Today's the day Darryl comes home from his most crazy week at work he's had so far this year and I can't wait to spend a few days with him and enjoy every moment.

So I quickly got out of bed and grabbed the suitcases from the closets and I start to grab a bunch of clothes including something that would make me feel beautiful and confident and of course grab some strawberry lipstick because I know how much Darryl loves it when I wear it.

About a few hours of packing I actually managed to get my self changed so I grabbed a white sweater with black dots over it and a pair of jeans than I put my hair up in a ponytail and of course I applied some strawberry lipstick.

When I was done I kept my packed clothes in the room and then I started to go down stairs to drink some coffee.

I'm so excited to see him again I missed him so much and I can't wait to spend three incredible days with him and enjoy every moment of it.

I walked over to the kitchen and opened the cabinet and grabbed a mug then I started to turn the coffee maker on.

While I was waiting for the coffee to be done I started to look out at the window.

It seemed like it's cloudy outside and I hope the clouds don't darken up by the time Darryl shows up.

Sometimes when I'm with Darryl alone I ask myself how did I get so lucky by marrying a man who's an amazing, caring and loving human being ?" All the beautiful memories Darryl and I have together I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world because he loves me more than anyone else in this world and he makes me feel beautiful and confident when I'm at my lowest but most of all he will always love me no matter if I'm on tour or he's in another state he will love me until death due us part.

As I was thinking about Darryl the coffee machine beeped than I poured some coffee in the mug.

When I was drinking my coffee I saw a black car pull up in front of the driveway and the first thing that came to mind was my husband is back.

So I tried to control my excitement and not wake the girls up because after all it's 9:30 am on a Friday and the girls have no school today.

As I waited for Darryl to come back in the house I continued to drink some more coffee.

"Hey honey, I'm finally home." Darryl said as he put his bag on the floor and smiled.

"I'm so happy you're back." I whispered with excitement.

"I missed you so damn much." Darryl whispered back.

"I missed you too handsome." I whispered smiling.

"You look amazing." Darryl said quietly.

"Well, you can tell me how amazing I am in the room." I whispered with a smirk.

"Also our bedroom is all the way down the hall and we could talk almost as loud as we wish." Darryl said as he started walking towards me.

After Darryl said that we started walking into our bedroom.

"Let me just move our suitcases off the bed." I said as I just put the suitcases on the floor for now.

"You seem like you're really excited for the romantic weekend to make up for what we would of done on our actual wedding anniversary?" Darryl asked with amazement.

"Of course I am, I get to spend some alone time with a man who I'm married to for five wonderful years and missed very badly when you were at work and hopefully you don't have to work that long ever again." I explained while looking into Darryl's eyes.

"I wish I could say the same but let's not talk about my work for a little while and just talk about our romantic weekend because around 1:30pm we are leaving this house and come back the same time Monday afternoon." Darryl explained lovingly.

"I know I've said this already but I missed you like crazy and I'm happy you're finally home and we can spend some alone time together." I said with a smile.

"I missed you too beautiful and I wish that I didn't have to work on our actual wedding anniversary and we could of had this romantic weekend than I have my chaotic week of work after." Darryl explained while looking into my eyes.

"Honey, I understand that you had to work on our actual wedding anniversary because I know you would always find a way to make time for us." I said as I started to put my arm around him.

"All I got to say now thank God I'm home and I don't need to think about work because all I'm going to think about is us and only us." Darryl replied as he started to stroke my hair.

"I love you so much." I said as I gave him as kiss on the cheek.

Before Darryl can talk he started to kiss me very passionately as if he hasn't seen me in along time.

Then all of sudden we started to make love to each other and I loved every minute of it.

After we stopped all of our clothes was on the floor and we started cuddling.

"Although we don't have to go anywhere we can spend our romantic weekend here and have the house to ourselves and your parents can watch the kids for three days and then one of us could pick them up after school." I explained while looking into his eyes.

"That's a great idea." Darryl said smiling.

"So when are we going to get the kids to go your parents house ?" I asked.

"What time is it ?" Darryl asked.

"The time is 11:30 am." I answered as I covered my chest with the pillow and grabbed my phone off the table and read the time.

" Let's wait a little while." Darryl said as he removed the pillow away from my chest.

"I love you." I replied as I started cuddling closer to him.

"I love you too beautiful." Darryl smiled as he started to wrap his muscular arms around me.

"I know you don't wanna talk about work but just for curiosity sake; how was your last day of working this week?" I asked with a curious tone in my voice.

"It was okay and the first time five years we got to leave early because Liv and I got our paperwork done from that chaotic week Liv and I had." Darryl explained.

"At least you aren't working at all this weekend or Monday because we get to finally have our romantic weekend together." I said smiling.

"I'm going to get the kids to go my mom's house you can start packing my suitcase." Darryl replied as he got out of bed.

"I thought my idea of us spending our romantic weekend together at home together was a great idea ?" I asked with disappointment.

"Babe, I know I said your idea at staying home was a great idea but I remembered that I booked a romantic suite for us somewhere in downtown LA and trust me it's the most beautiful suite I've seen." Darryl answered trying not to sigh while looking for his boxers.

"Okay, we can go but I really missed sleeping next to you and making passionate love to each other in our bed." I said trying not to complain.

"Demi, honey I know you want to stay here but would it be nice to have a change of scenery?" Darryl asked as he sat down on the bed.

"You're right it would be nice for scenery change." I answered.

"I wasn't going to tell you this until we got to the suite but the room I picked out has a beautiful view of the beach and the room has everything you can wish for." Darryl said smiling.

"Like strawberries and rose petals?" I asked.

"Yes and I spent a lot of money to get the room to be the most romantic thing you've ever seen in your whole entire life." Darryl said as he threw on a pair of shorts.

"It even sounds romantic and the best part of us going to that room that we are going to be together and we are going to enjoy every minute of it with no interruptions from either your captain, my boss from the diner or my manager because I've waited way to long for us to have this." I explained as I started to get out of bed and started walking towards him.

"Stop teasing me Demi, I got to go get the kids ready and just say I'm going to get you back tonight." Darryl replied with a sigh as if he wanted to just grab and kiss me.

"You go do that and by the way I'm not scared of you." I said teasingly as I put my bra back on.

After we put our clothes back on Darryl left the room to get the kids up so they can go to Darryl's parents house.

When Darryl left the room I started to put all of my clothes back on then I started to put some clothing into Darryl's suitcase.

About a few minutes past I finally managed to get the clothes packed in Darryl's suitcase.

I hope the clothes I picked for this weekend is good enough because I want this vacation to go perfect without any interruptions.

After I finished the suitcases I zipped them up and placed them on the bed then I started waitng for Darryl  to come back.

Just a few hours past Darryl finally came back.

"Ready to go ?" Darryl asked as if he was out of breath.

"Yes I am and I'll take the suitcases because you seem like your exhausted." I explained as I grabbed the suitcases off the bed.

As I grabbed the suitcases I quickly started walking down the hall the front door.

After we got out our jackets and shoes on we started walking out of the house and Darryl locked the door as I started to grab the suitcases from the step.

Before we got in the car  Darryl opened the trunk so I can put the suitcases  in then I closed the trunk and started to go inside the car.

"I can't believe that we are going to spend the whole weekend together alone." I said as I put my seatbelt on.

"Me either it's  going to be amazing." Darryl replied as he put his seatbelt on while putting the key in the ignition.

"I know I shouldn't worry about the girls  right now but I hope they're okay." I said trying not to ruin the mood.

"Dems, the girls are going to be just fine and  if anything happens I gave my mother  my cell phone number just in case for emergencies." Darryl reassured me.

"I'm sorry for worrying about our kids everytime we go somewhere." I said as I tried not to cry.

"Honey, it's okay that you worry about  the kids ever since Leah got kidnapped a couple of years back and it's totally understandable but I know my parents wouldn't hurt our kids because they love them as much as we do." Darryl explained as he kept his eyes on the road.

"You're right they are in good hands." I said.

"How was your week without me when I had that chaotic work week?" Darryl asked with a confused tone in his voice.

"Well it was okay but like what I told you on the phone one of our little girls started kindergarten and she had a lot of fun but she was nervous at first which is understandable, then I had to work at the diner and had to get Sirah to baby sit but other than that I just do what I usually do when I'm with kids help Leah with homework, make supper , do chores and then go to bed." I explained.

"I really wish I was there to see Alyssa in kindergarten and  support her." Darryl said as he pulled up in front of the romantic hotel.

"Before we get out of the car, let me tell you something." I replied with a serious tone in my voice.

"Okay." Darryl said.

"Darryl, you're the most amazing  father to that sweet little girl we love so much and Alyssa understands that you had to work and I wouldn't beat myself over it because there's going to be other first days of school like middle school and high school and everything in between but no matter what Alyssa would always love you because she looks up to you and when she gets to  be a teenager and she has her first broken heart you're going to be there for her so it's okay to miss one important day because in the future there's going to be way more." I explained with a serious look on my face.

"Well the same goes to you too because you've been there for  Alyssa and Leah since you gave birth to them and ever since then you haven't stopped because I know how much you love them and I'm just so happy that I married the most amazing woman I've ever wanted to spend the rest of my life with." Darryl said as he took his seatbelt off.

"I know what you're next move is and I don't think you want to do it in here." I said changing the subject.

"Damn you're getting to good at  guessing what I'm thinking." Darryl replied as he started laugh a little.

"I've known you for five years I should know what you're like." I said as I took my seatbelt off.

"That's true." Darryl responded as we started to get out of the car.

When we got out of the car Darryl opened the trunk so we can grab our suitcases. After he opened the trunk we grabbed our suitcases he slammed the trunk them we started walking inside the hotel.

"Hello, my name is Darryl Lovato and this is my wife Demi Lovato and I made reservation for a room for us just for a few days." Darryl explained to the receptionist at the desk.

"Yes, we have you and here's your key ;enjoy your stay." The  man said as he handed Darryl the key to the room.

"Thank you." Darryl and I responded together  as we headed down the far end of the hall to our bedroom.

About a few minutes of searching Darryl finally found our room then he unlocked the door and we walked inside.

□°●■•■■¤IN OUR HOTEL ROOM ●°○□°■•♤¤
"Wow, this place is incredible." I said as I put my suitcase by a table.

"I'm glad you like it." Darryl replied as he walked in.

"I can't believe we're going to spend the entire weekend here." I said with an amazed look on my face.

"We will spend sometime here and downstairs has a resturant and a ballroom all in one room." Darryl responded as he put his suitcase next to mine.

"I should of packed some type of fancy outfit if I've known there's a ballroom." I sighed in disbelief.

"Babe, it's okay we don't need to go dancing downstairs we could just have a romantic dinner like we do with any other resturant around here." Darryl said as he started look into my eyes.

"At least we have our own pool." I replied as I walked over to the window.

"Yup." Darryl said.

Before I could talk Darryl opened up a bottle of champagne that was in a ice bucket on the table  and grabbed two champagne glasses out of the cabinet.

"Here's to us spending our fifth wedding anniversary  in this romantic suite and having the time of our lives." Darryl said as he poured champange in the glasses.

"To us." I smiled as I clincked my glass next Darryl's.

After we stopped clincking our glasses together we smiled at each other while looking into each others eyes then we started to drink some of the champagne.

"I can't believe we are married  for five incredible years  now and I love every minute of our wonderful marriage you're the best thing that's ever happened to me." Darryl said lovingly.

"We have been through so much together and  honestly I  wouldn't have made it without you because you were there for me from my chaotic divorce with Nick, you helped me with Leah when I needed it the most, you made me feel beautiful and confident again after that divorce was finally over and I could move on with my life with you by my side as my support system then you not only became my support system  you became the love my life and the most amazing husband I've ever wanted to spend the rest of my life with." I explained as I tried not to get emotional.

"I'm just forever grateful to have you as my beautiful wife and all the times we spend together I'll cherish  them for the rest of my life." Darryl said with a smile while looking into my eyes.

"I will cherish our moments together too because I love you so much and I'm so blessed to have you in my life." I replied as started looking into his beautiful blue eyes.

After we were looking into to each others eyes Darryl started to turn on a music player that had all of our love songs on it..

As the music started to play we started to slow dance together and it felt like I was dancing with him on our wedding day.

"You look beautiful." Darryl said with a soft smile.

"Thanks even though I'm not wearing anything fancy just regular clothes." I replied as I started to  ruin the moment.

"Dems, we have been married for five wonderful years you look beautiful to me no matter what you wear because you're the most beautiful woman in the world." Darryl said as he stopped dancing.

"Well, you're the most handsome man I've ever wanted to spend the rest of my life with  and I love you so much." I responded lovingly as I started to look into his eyes.

After I said that Darryl to started to kiss me very passionately and  then we started to make love to each other and I never wanted to stop because I  love him so much.

When we're done we started snuggling up against each other while drinking some of  more champange.

"I love you so much." I said as I put my glass on the bedside table while not breaking any eye contact with Darryl.

"I love you too beautiful." Darryl replied as he started to kiss my neck very slowly.

"Remember when we went on our honeymoon and how amazing it was  ?" I asked with a  loving smile,

"It was wonderful and  I loved splashing you with bubbles in that steamy bubble bath we had when we went to a resturant near my parents beach house and it was pouring so hard that we literally ran and you almost broke your high heel shoe." Darryl explained as he stopped kissing my neck.

"The honeymoon was wonderful until it rained but we did have a nice bubble bath together and I would get annoyed that you splashed me then I covered you wuth bubbles then I felt better afterwards." I reminisced with a slight giggle.

"I remembered what you said "Don't splash bubbles at me because you don't want to see  the bad side of me." Darryl said trying not to laugh.

"Another I remember is that I was wearing this blue lace pj set and you couldn't stop staring at me until I told you that we already had sex the night of arriving at your parents beach house." I replied.

"You did look amazing in that  when were there." Darryl said.

"That honeymoon was the best." I responded with a smile.

"It really was." Darryl reminisced while smiling back.

"I know most couples  on their romantic weekend  they would stay up til 2 am but I'm sorry Darryl I'm so tried right now." I yawned.

"Honey, it's okay and besides we got the whole weekend together alone and we are  going to  enjoy it no matter what." Darryl said while kissing my head.

"Goodnight handsome." I replied with a passionate goodnight kiss.

As I was kissing him we couldn't stop and everytime we tried to stop it continued on.

But we stopped kissing each other ten minutes later.

"Goodnight beautiful." Darryl said as he stopped kissing me.

After Darryl stopped talking he got out of bed and locked our hotel room then he turned off the music and after that he got back in bed with me then I started cuddling closer to him while turned off the light.

Then we drifted fast asleep.

Hey guys as you may know from the  previous chapter I've posted I'll be doing a double update and I haven't posted  one in a extremely long time and I think you guys desreve 2 chapters after all the support you've given me is amazing.  I appreciate it a lot you guys are the best.

Also another reason is you guys don't have to wait almost a month for one chapter  so why not do a double update.
