We decided to name our last baby Jake because we felt it was a special name for us because Darryl always wanted to name his son Jake if he ever had kid and if it was a boy.

I gave him his wish.

Hopefully today I'll be able to go home because they kept me in just in case I lose catiousnuess or something happened to the baby overnight.

As I was waking up a nurse came in with a blood pressure machine and started checking it to see if it's okay.

While the nurse was checking my blood pressure, Darryl started to wake up.

"Looks like everything is looking good Mrs. Lovato." The nurse said as she took the blood pressure cuff off me while taking the sethascope out of her ear.

I just smiled at her then she walked out of the room and closed the door behind her.

"That's early to do blood pressure; it's only 7:30 am." Darryl said.

"It's probably just routine." I replied.

"I hope today you'll be able to go home." Darryl said with a serious tone in his voice.

"Me too but we are still living with my mom until we get a new house." I responded while trying not to sigh.

"I'm not going to even talk about them right now and I should be greatful that I'm with you and our beautiful new baby." Darryl said with a serious look on his face.

"Exactly." I agreed with a soft smile.

"I still hate myself that I wasn't there for the birth or the first ultrasound." Darryl said with a sadden tone in his voice.

"Honey, it's okay that you missed it and last time I checked you're the one who helped me make that beautiful baby over there." I responded as I pointed over to the baby crib.

"Yes I did help with that but I should've been there." Darryl cried.

"Wow. I never see you cry before; come over." I said while moving my finger towards him to get his attention.

After I said that he got out of the hospital bed and grabbed a hard plastic chair then he placed it close to my bed.

When he sat down I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you so much and it still hurts me." Darryl said as he let go of me while wiping his tears away.

"Honey, I still love you no matter what and nothing is going to change that but during the hard part I was mad but during that time I was in so much pain that I even tired to get the baby to stay until you arrived but the pain was unbearable so I had no choice but do it." I explained with a serious tone in my voice.

"No woman should have to do the hard part alone." Darryl sobbed as he started looking into my eyes.

"I wasn't alone; my mom and Dallas was in the room with me even though she was going to go home but she decided to stay just in case you didn't come back." I said as I started to wipe his tears away with my thumb.

Before Darryl could talk again the baby started to cry.

When Darryl heard the baby's cry he got out of the chair and started to slowly take him out of the crib.

"Good morning little buddy; I'm your Daddy." Darryl said with a soft tone in his voice.

After he said that the baby started to calm down a little but the baby needed me.

Darryl walked over with the baby in his arms and handed him to me.

"Hello little guy." I gushed with a soft smile while holding the baby in my arms.

"I just can't get over how handsome he looks." Darryl said with a smile as he saw the baby open his eyes.

"He is handsome just like his daddy; yes you are." I replied in a baby voice while talking to the baby.

Darryl just smiled down at the baby while kissing my cheek.

I handed the baby back to him so I could put my hospital gown sleeve down to breastfeed the baby.

After I managed to move my hospital gown sleeve down Darryl gave me the baby so I could feed the baby.

While I was feeding the baby Darryl started to drink some of the coffee that nurse gave me with my breakfast tray.

The baby was finished a few minutes later then Darryl put the baby back in his crib while I put my hospital gown sleeve back up.

"I just hope I will be able to go home today." I said with a serious tone in my voice.

"Me too." Darryl responded with a smile.

"I never imagined that I would be ever holding another baby again." I cried tears of joy.

"You desreve it beautiful." Darryl said as he walked over and gave me a hug.

"Now our little family is complete." I announced proudly.

"That little baby is the final piece and wouldn't trade it for the world." Darryl replied with a smile.

"I love you so much." I smiled as I let go of him.

"Dido." Darryl said with still smiling.

Before I could kiss him Dallas came in.

"Good morning lovebirds." Dallas said while holding a Starbucks coffee in her hand.

"I thought you were gone home;when Darryl arrived." I replied with a serious tone in my voice.

"I was planning on leaving but I decided to stay at a hotel that night instead." Dallas said as she walked towards the hospital bed.

"That's understandable and thank you for being there for me when Darryl couldn't make it." I responded with a smile.

"You don't need to thank me; I wasn't going let my sister give birth in my car and trust me after seeing what happened to you in that room I'm serious about not having kids." Dallas explained.

"I know that part wasn't the prettiest but after all that pushing something beautiful came out of it." I replied.

"I called mom while I was in the hotel and she will be over with the kids in a few minutes." Dallas said with a smile.

"Can't wait to see the girl's faces when they see their baby brother." I beamed.

"Me too." Darryl agreed with a smile.

"Another thing that she said was that Darryl's parent's will arrive at the same time." Dallas replied with a serious tone in her voice.

"We are literally having a family reunion in this small room." I said trying not sigh.

"Well, let's see who arrives first then it won't be so crowed and overwhelming." Dallas suggested.

"Dallas, my parents have a right to see the new baby too." Darryl said trying not to raise his voice.

"I know they do but; let Demi do whatever she feels comfortable with because after all she had been through enough today so let her relax." Dallas explained while trying not get annoyed.

"Honey, I know you hate what I'm going to say next but Dallas is right I don't want to feel so overwhelmed with having so many people in this small room and don't worry your parents will see the baby as well." I said as I turned my face towards Darryl.

When I said that Darryl's face dropped a bit as if he was disappointed.

"Okay honey, I respect your decision." Darryl replied trying not sigh.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

"I'm glad we are in agreement; I'm going to go home and tell mom the news." Dallas replied as she started to walk towards the door.

"See you later sis." I smiled.

"Bye guys." Dallas replied as she walked out of the room.

"I think the baby needs to be put back in his crib." I said as I saw the close his eyes slowly.

After I said that Darryl carefully took the baby in his arms and gently put him in the crib.

"That baby is so lucky to have you has his mommy." Darryl gushed.

" He's lucky to have you as his daddy too because you're the best." I said with a smile.

"What can I say?; I'm the best at everything." Darryl asked with a smirk.

"You got that right handsome." I agreed with a soft smile.

"My handwriting is atrocious." Darryl said with a chuckle.

"You're right on that too." I giggled.

We started laughing after that part.

Before we could talk about anything else the kids and my mom came in.

"Mommy and Daddy!" Leah and Alyssa exclaimed ran over towards us.

"Hey girls." I whispered with a smile.

"Why are you whispering?" Alyssa asked.

"You're baby brother is sleeping." I answered.

"Can we see him ?" Alyssa asked.

"Of course you can't sweetie." I responded still smiling.

After I said that the girls walked over to the crib to see their baby brother.

"We are big sisters now." Alyssa whispered as she looked at the baby.

Darryl and I just smiled at each other.

"Looks like the girls are liking the new baby." My mom said with a smile.

"I thought they would ask questions but I guess they just happy to see us together." I replied as I looked up at Darryl.

"Yikes Darryl you are covered in bruises." My mom said with a serious tone in her voice as she noticed the bruises.

"It's a long story; I'll explain to you later." Darryl replied with a serious look on his face.

Before My mom could talk My doctor came in.

"Good morning Mrs. Lovato." My doctor said with a greeting smile.

"Good morning." I replied.

"How's the baby doing ?" The doctor asked.

"The baby is doing okay; he's just sleeping." I answered with a smile while looking over at the baby.

"I'm glad that the baby is doing good and everything looks good for you according to your chart;you should be going home today whenever you feel like." The doctor explained with a smile.

"Any news if my husband will be able to go home?" I asked.

"I have no idea at the moment but I'll check with his doctor and let him know." The doctor answered with a serious tone.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

"No problem." The doctor replied as she left the room.

"I really want to go home with you guys because I have been away for so long and I missed you all like crazy." Darryl cried.

"It's okay Daddy; we know you were in Boston." Alyssa said as she started walking over with Leah towards his hospital bed.

"If I have to stay here another night I want you both to be good to your mom and don't give her any trouble." Darryl replied with a serious tone in his voice.

"We will." Alyssa and Leah said together.

"Good." Darryl smiled as he gave the girls a hug each.

Before I could talk Darryl's doctor came in.

"Good morning Mr. Lovato; how are you feeling?" The doctor asked.

"I had still have pains on my body, the marks on my body are itchy and I'm sick of this pork chop smell." Darryl explained.

"I see Sir, you may need to stay here for until tomorrow and then you will go home with some medication." The doctor said with a serious look on his face.

"Okay then but is there any way that I could go home because my wife over there just had a baby last night?" Darryl asked.

"You have to stay here for just today and everything will be done tomorrow." The doctor answered.

Darryl just nodded his head.

After Darryl nodded his head the doctor gave him a paper cup with some pills and a glass of water.

"The pills will take out the pain." The doctor said as Darryl put the pills in his mouth and started to drink water.

"I hope my husband will be okay." I replied while interrupting Darryl's thoughts.

"Don't worry Mrs. Lovato; your husband is in good hands and I'll make sure he will be home with you and your family all clean and cured." The doctor reassured me.

"Thank you doctor." Darryl said as he started smiling at me.

"I'm going to go for now and I'll see you later on." The doctor replied as he started walking towards the door with his clipboard.

Darryl just waved at the doctor then the doctor walked out.

"I wish you are coming home today." I sighed.

"Me too; I really want to be there with you." Darryl sighed back.

"I have to go back to my mom's house because I have no house thanks to those idiots." I said with anger.

"I knew if I went to Boston there was going to be more problems waiting for me." Darryl sighed in disbelief.

"I guess we have to manage for now until we find a house that's big enough for us and the kids." I said with a serious tone in my voice.

Before anyone could talk Dallas came in.

"Dems, I heard the news you can go home today!" Dallas exclaimed.

"I know my doctor told me but I wish Darryl could come home too." I sighed.

"Why can't he ?" Dallas asked.

"I have to stay here and get some treatment done then I should be home tomorrow." Darryl answered.

"I hope this treatment will work." I said with a serious tone in my voice.

"Me too." Darryl replied.

"Before you go home; I want to hold our baby again." Darryl added.

"Of course you can honey." I smiled as Dallas handed Darryl the baby.

"He's so cute." Darryl said with a smile.

Dallas and I just smiled at him.

"I can't believe I have a son now." Darryl added as he started looking at the baby.

"He looks a lot like you." Dallas said with a smile.

"I agree." Darryl replied as he admired the baby.

I never seen him so happy like that before it's just a beautiful moment.

While Darryl was with the baby I started to slowly get out of bed then Dallas grabbed some clothes for me than I pulled the curtain between us and started changing.

As I was changing I just couldn't believe that I have another baby and after all of those times of Darryl and I trying to have another baby it finally happened and I'm so overwhelmed by the happiness.

After I finished changing I pulled the curtain back and started to walk over to Darryl.

"Dallas, can you leave the room just a second?; I want to tell your sister something in private." Darryl asked with a polite tone in his voice.

"Okay." Dallas replied as she left the room.

"What is it you want to tell me?" I asked with a confused look on my face.

"I just wanted to say thank you for bringing this little baby into our world and I don't know how I'll ever repay you." Darryl answered as he started looking over at me.

"You're welcome and after all you desreve credit too." I said with a smile.

"I might've gave you the potion but you carried this bundle of joy for nine months and I'm so happy you're the love of my life." Darryl replied as a tear came down his face.

After he said that I started to wipe his tears away.

"I love you both so much." I said as I kissed Darryl on the cheek and kissed the baby's head.

"Dido." Darryl replied with a smile.

After Darryl was smiling at me. Dallas started taking her cell phone out and started taking a picture of us with Jake.

"What a beautiful moment." Dallas said getting emotional while putting her phone away.

"Send me that picture later." I replied smiling.

"Will do." Dallas smiled as she handed me a baby carrier.

"I really wish I could go home." Darryl sighed.

"Tomorrow you are and Jake will be waiting too." I said as I try to brighten the mood.

"I hope you can handle him tonight." Darryl replied with a worried tone in his voice.

"Baby, I'm going to be okay handling him tonight don't worry about it." I reassured him.

"Okay then; well I guess it's goodbye for now little one." Darryl said as he looked down at the sleeping baby.

Dallas and I just smiled at him.

Darryl slowly handed me the baby then Dallas carefully put him in the carrier.

"Dallas, I'll be out in a minute; I just wanted to tell Darryl something." I said with a whisper.

"Okay." Dallas whispered as she quietly walked out of the room.

"What is it that you wanted to tell me ?" Darryl asked with a concerned tone in his voice.

"I just wanted to say that I love you so much and I know the past couple of days has been emotional for many reasons but I'm going to be with you until those images leave your mind completely." I answered with a serious tone in my voice while holding his hand.

"I am just so greatful for you because you're my rock and we are unbreakable together and we can conquer anything." Darryl said as he kissed my hand.

"You got that right." I giggled while a smile crept up on my face.

"I just can't wait to get out of here and get the treatments done then I'll be finally home." Darryl responded gleefully.

"I'll see you tomorrow and I love you." I gushed as I looked into his eyes.

After I said that Darryl started to kiss me very slowly and passionately as if he never wanted to let me go.

"Bye beautiful." Darryl said with a smile as he started to let go of my lips.

"Goodnight handsome." I replied as I started to leave his bedside.

Darryl started to wave and smile at me then I blew him a kiss goodbye.

After that I leave the room.

(Darryl's pov)
I can't wait to go home and be with Demi and the kids because I missed them all so much and I want to be in Jake's life as much as I can.

I don't want to mess this up because bad enough I'm not around the girls very often because I'm constantly working and I don't get weeks off.

It's just a couple of days and that's it then I'm back at it again.

As I was thinking about the kids and how much I wanted to be in there lives more, a nurse came in with a iv bag full of this orange liquid that could be what the doctor prescribed for me.

While the nurse was putting the liquid into my IV she told me it will make me sleepy but that's normal then she said she will back when the bag is done.

A few minutes went past and then I started to feel sleepy so I decided to get some sleep.
