(Demi's pov)
Today I'm going back to the diner after taking a few months off because of my pregnancy but the good thing is that two weeks from today I'm going back to the studio and make music for my fans and I don't have to work at the diner everyday. But I'll only work there part time just to have extra cash on the side.

I'm not the only one who's going back to work today Darryl going back to work with Liv after his almost fatal accident thanks to his cousin..

Darryl gets annoyed when I worry about him when he's at work while I'm working or not because he doesn't want me to worry about him. But I don't care he's my husband and the father of our children I'm always going to worry about him because the girls and I love him so much and we don't want to see him get into harms way.

Bad enough two years ago I almost lost him because of his cousin and I didn't know if he was going to live or die.

After I stopped thinking about Darryl I walked over to the closet to look for something to wear so I picked out a white and black striped buttoned up shirt and a pair of jeans.

When I was done changing Darryl started to wake up.

"Good morning beautiful." Darryl said with a soft smile.

"Good morning handsome." I replied as I walked back over to him.

"How did you sleep?" Darryl asked as he started to stretch.

"I slept good." I answered.

"I slept good too and you look so beautiful today." Darryl said with a smile as he got out of bed.

"You say that every day." I replied with a smile.

"I will never stop saying it because I love you and you mean everything to me." Darryl said as he started to walk over to me.

After I said that we started to kiss very passionately.

"I'm going to get Leah up. I said as I let go of Darryl's lips.

"I'll call Sirah to watch Alyssa." Darryl replied as he kissed my cheek and got out of bed.

"Thanks honey; you're the best." I said with a soft smile as I got off the bed.

"But before I do that I better get changed for work." Darryl responded as he noticed he was almost naked.

"Good idea." I said as I walked out of the room.

"Leah, it's time to get up and go to school." I said as I opened the her bedroom door.

"Can I have a few more minutes of sleep?" Leah asked with a sigh.

"No, you're not getting any more sleep; your father and I are really busy today." I answered.

"Okay I'm up let me get some clothes." Leah said as she got out of bed.

"Good morning mommy." Alyssa replied as she started to wipe her eyes while holding her stuffed teddy bear.

"Good morning Angel." I said as I picked her up in my arms as we started walking into the kitchen.

Before I could ask Alyssa what she would like for breakfast, Darryl comes in and starts giving Alyssa a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning Aly." Darryl said as he smiled at her.

"Good morning Daddy." Alyssa replied as she smiled back at him.

"Any news on Sirah coming over to watch Alyssa?" I asked as I put her on the floor.

"She will be here in a few minutes." Darryl replied as he started making some coffee.

"Why is Sirah coming over?" Alyssa asked with a confused look on her face.

"Sirah is coming over to hang out with you until mommy comes back from work." Darryl answered with a soft smile.

"Yay!" Alyssa exclaimed.

"What does everyone want for breakfast ?" I asked.

"Me and Aly want lucky charms." Leah answered.

"What do you want for breakfast honey ?" I asked as I looked over at Darryl who was pouring coffee in a thermos.

"I'll be good with coffee for now and besides I don't have time to eat breakfast I'm late for work." Darryl answered as quickly gave all of us a quick kiss on the cheek each.

"Okay then well I'll see you when you get home." I said as I started grabbing two bowls out of the cabinet.

"I will see you all when I come back." Darryl replied as he started grabbing his thermos and his car keys.

"Bye daddy." Leah and Alyssa said together as they waved goodbye to him.

"Bye girls." Darryl replied as he quickly put his shoes on and started jogging over to his car.

"I wish daddy would eat breakfast with us." Alyssa sighed as I handed them a bowl of lucky charms each.

"I know you do sweetie; but your daddy has been very busy with work lately and who knows honey, daddy might have breakfast with us tomorrow." I explained with a soft smile as I started pouring some coffee in a mug.

Before the girls can talk Sirah comes in the house.

"Good morning to the most amazing girls and best friend I've ever known." Sirah said with a cheerful smile.

"Oh crap: Leah's late for school." I replied as I quickly looked at the clock and it was almost 9:00 am.

"You better get going and I'll see you later." Sirah said.

"See you guys later." I responded quickly as I grabbed Leah's bookbag and started running out the door.

Before I started driving we put our seatbelts on then I started to drive away from the house really quickly because Leah's already ten minutes late for school.

"Looks like we are finally here; I'll see you in about five hours from now." I said as I gave Leah a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll see you later mommy." Leah replied as she got out of the car with her bookbag.

"I love you." I said with a smile.

Leah didn't hear me because when she got out of the car she quickly ran up the stairs and went inside.

After I dropped Leah off to school I quickly drove over to the diner because Leah isn't the one who's late for something important and I hope my boss try not to bite my head off.

As I got to the diner I parked my car and quickly raced out of my car and ran inside.

"Where have you been?" Joe asked with a confused look on his face.

"I had to get Leah to school and get Sirah to babysit while Darryl's at work." I answered with a sigh as I walked into the back to grab my apron.

"I'm not trying to be an ass but you're really lucky that our boss is on his honeymoon with his third wife." Joe said.

"So who's running the place while the boss is on his honeymoon?" I asked as I tied my apron around my waist.

"I am." Joe replied.

"Wow, that's amazing we've been working at the diner together for almost five years and you got a promotion that quick; I'm so proud of you." I explained as I gave him a quick hug.

"Thanks Dems, now please get to work." Joe replied as he started to let go of me as I started serving some customers.

I just nodded my head at him as I started walking to my first customer of the day.

When I walked over to the customer I took her order then I handed it over to the chef.

After I gave the chef the order I waited until the food was ready while I was waiting I started making the customer's coffee.

When I finished making the coffee the customer's food was ready so I slowly grabbed the cup of coffee and the plate of food in my hand and very slowly I walked over to the customer.

After I gave the customer her food I started serving customers until my shift ended which was at 3:30pm.

So I took my apron off and started running out of the diner and ran over to my car.

When I got in the car I got a text from Darryl saying he picked Leah up from school for me because I was working while she was in school.

All I have to say I'm grateful to have Darryl to help me with the kids when I'm working at the diner or the studio and honestly I don't know what I'll do without him.

But if I was still with Nick he won't pitch in to help I would have to ask Sirah to pick Leah up from school while I was working.

To get my mind off of Nick if he didn't leave I decided to put my seatbelt on and turn on the radio so I could get rid of the misery he had put me in.

Bad enough I sometimes have bad dreams of Nick and sometimes out of the blue I would wonder what would of happen if Nick never left me.

About a few minutes past and I finally got to the house. When I got there I took my keys out of the ignition and started getting out of the car and started walking inside the house.

"Hey honey." Darryl said with a smile.

"Hey." I replied as I put my car keys on the table.

"How was work?" Darryl asked.

"It was okay because my boss wasn't there because according to Joe, my boss is on his honeymoon with his third wife." I answered.

"At least you didn't get your heard bitten off this morning." Darryl said.

"That's true." I replied as I walked over to the kitchen to grab a glass of lemonade.

"Leah told me that she had fun in school and she met some new friends." Darryl said with a smile.

"That's great; I'm glad Leah had fun." I responded as I started drinking some of my lemonade.

"I'm making spaghetti for supper tonight." Darryl said proudly.

"Sounds good I can't wait to eat it." I replied.

Before Darryl could speak Leah and Alyssa came from their bedrooms and walked over to us.

"Mommy!" Alyssa exclaimed as she saw me in the kitchen.

"Hi sweetie." I said as I put her up in my arms.

"I'm so happy you're home." Alyssa replied with a smile.

"I'm happy to be home too; I missed you guys when I was working." I said as I gave her a hug.

"I missed you too." Alyssa responded as she gave me a hug back.

"Did you pay Sirah for babysitting our sweet little angel ?" I asked looking over at Darryl.

"Yes I did." Darryl answered.

"Good because while I was driving back home I was thinking about it." I said as I put Alyssa back on the floor.

"It's about 4:30pm I'm going to start making supper now." Darryl replied as he started walking over to the kitchen.

"What are we having for supper daddy ?" Alyssa asked with a confused look on her face.

"We're having spaghetti tonight." Darryl answered with a smile.

"Yay; I love spaghetti!" Alyssa exclaimed.

"Do you want me to help you ?" I asked.

"I think I'm good for now but if I need anything I'll tell you." Darryl answered as he started putting some water in a pot.

"Okay then; I'll be in the living room with the kids if you need me." I said with a soft smile as I walked over to living room.

Darryl just gave me a thumbs up because he was to distracted with the cooking.

About a few hours past we ate our supper and it was delicious and I got to say Darryl is an amazing cook.

After we were done eating we decided to watch some tv until the girls had to go to bed.

"Okay girls; it's time for bed now." Darryl said as he started to turn off the tv.

"Goodnight daddy and mommy." Leah and Alyssa replied together as they gave us kisses and hugs Goodnight while following Darryl to their bedrooms.

"Goodnight my princesses." I said with a soft smile as I got off the couch.

While Darryl was putting kids to bed I stared doing the dishes from tonight and putting them away so I wouldn't have to deal with it tomorrow morning before work.

When I was putting the last dish in the cabinet Darryl came back into the kitchen.

"I'm so tried." Darryl yawned.

"Me too." I yawned back as I turned off the kitchen light.

After I said that we started walking into our bedroom.

"I'm so tired right now I don't want to put on a pair of pjs." I said as I pulled the blankets back.

"We should get some sleep because Leah has school and I have work in the morning." Darryl responded as he took his shirt off and got underneath the covers.

"Goodnight handsome." I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Goodnight beautiful." Darryl replied as he kissed me back and turned off the light.
