(Demi's pov)
I'm so happy that I don't have to go to the studio due to the fact I almost lost my voice yesterday from singing high notes as loud my voice could take.
But at least it's slowly healing because I have been drinking some of the lemon honey flavoured tea I made yesterday to help with my voice.
Today is finally the weekend and the girls don't have any school until Monday morning and I hope my voice heals by then if not I'm not going to be in that studio for a while because I don't want to damage my voice as much as it is right now.
As I was about to go over to my closet my stomach had other plans so I quickly ran into the bathroom when I got to inside I quickly started to puke as if I had food poisoning it was terrible.
I hate morning sickness so much that's the worst part of being pregnant is definitely this morning sickness and I'm greatful this will be the last time exeperincing it.
After I stopped puking I started wiping my mouth with the table while flushing the toilet and then I started brushing my teeth to get nausea taste out of my mouth.
A few minutes past and I finished brushing my teeth then I went back into the room so I can finally get something to wear.
I started to grab a red and black poka dot t- shirt with a pair of leggings and some socks after I was finished changing I put my hair up in a ponytail and started walking out of the room into the kitchen.
▪■○■○▪□■IN THE KITCHEN○■○■○■■▪■▪■
When I got into the kitchen I started to turn the kettle so I can make some more lemon honey flavoured tea that has been helping my voice then I started to grab a pack strawberry pop tarts from the pantry as I started eating it while waiting for the kettle to finish boiling.
As I was waiting for the kettle the phone started to ring and so I walked over to see who it was and I'm hoping it's not the anonymous texter because I'm not in the mood to deal with them today I almost broke my phone because of the text messages I received from them yesterday.
To get my mind off the anonymous texter I grabbed the phone and put it to my ear.
*(PHONE CALL)*
"Hello." I said as I put the phone up to my ear.
"Good morning sunshine." Darryl replied with a smile.
"Thank God you called I thought you were the anonymous texter trying to call here." I whispered with a sigh of relief.
"Have you received a phone call from yet ?" Darryl asked.
"No I haven't thank God." I answered in a low voice.
"Let me know if you ever do get a phone call from them." Darryl said.
"I will." I whispered.
"Why are you whispering and talking in a low voice ?" Darryl asked with a confused tone in his voice.
"I almost lost my voice because I was singing a song with a very high note and now I'm here drinking some of the lemon honey flavoured tea I made yesterday to help with my voice." I explained while whispering.
"I hope your voice gets better soon." Darryl responded with a serious tone in his voice.
"Me too." I said with a low tone in my voice.
"I can't wait to see our baby when he or she comes out." Darryl gushed.
"Me too; the baby is comfortable and gave me morning sickness that's fun." I sighed with a whisper.
"That sucks you had morning sickness." Darryl said sympatheticly.
"How has been your day going so far ?" I asked with a low tone in my voice.
"Right now I'm on break so I thought it would be nice to call my gorgeous wife this morning even though I called you yesterday around this time but I just love hearing your voice." Darryl explained.
"Well my voice isn't the nicest hearing sound today." I whispered while trying not to laugh.
"I know but it's just nice to hear from you and the kids because I love you both so much." Darryl said.
Before I could talk about anyone else Alyssa started to mouth out "is that daddy?"
When she asked that I just nodded my head at her.
"Honey, there's someone that wants to talk to you." I whispered.
"Okay pass the phone and we'll talk after." Darryl smiled.
I didn't say anything I just handed Alyssa the phone.
*(END OF PHONE CALL)* • FOR NOW•
As Alyssa was talking to her father I decided to finish eating my pop tart while drinking my honey lemon flavoured tea.
Alyssa looked so happy when she was talking to her dad it's nice to have her talk to him after all she hasn't seen him or heard his voice since he left five days ago.
I threw my pop tart wrapper in the garbage then Leah came into the kitchen looking for something to eat.
"Who's Aly talking to ?" Leah asked with a confused look on her face.
"Your father." I whispered.
After I said that Leah tapped her sister's shoulder asking if she could talk to him after she's done but Alyssa just ignored her and continued to talk.
"Aly; please let your sister talk to your father." I said with a low tone in my voice,
Alyssa tells Darryl she has to go then hands the phone over to Leah.
"I wanted to tell daddy a dream I had last night." Alyssa pouted.
"What was it ?" I asked with a whisper.
"Everyone went to Disney land and I became friends with all the princesses then I had a sleepover at the castle with them." Alyssa answered with a smile.
"That sounds like a great dream sweetie; maybe someday it will come true." I whispered.
"Another part of that dream was Daddy got me a tiara and puppy." Alyssa added still smiling,
"That's great sweetie; when I'm done talking to daddy I'll give the phone back to you." I beamed with a low tone in my voice.
"Yay!" Alyssa exclaimed as she started to open the pantry door.
I just smiled at her as I continued to eat my pop tart.
While I was eating I grabbed a mug out of the cabinet then started pouring the tea in the mug and then I opened the fridge to get the lemon juice and grabbed the honey from the pantry.
After I added the lemon and the honey together in the tea I started to drink some of it. But before I could put the honey and the lemon juice away Leah handed me the phone.
"Why is there no one on the other end ?" I asked as I put the phone up to my ear in low voice.
"Daddy had to go save the world and also he said that he missed and loves us." Leah replied as she started looking for something to eat.
"Ah man; I wanna tell Daddy about my dream." Alyssa pouted as she grabbed a pack of mixed berry pop tarts.
"When he calls again I'll make sure you'll talk to him first." I whispered as I put the phone on the table.
"Yay!" Alyssa exclaimed.
"What are we going to this weekend girls?" I asked with a low tone in my voice.
"I have no idea." Leah answered.
"Me either." Alyssa agreed.
"The fair is still going ahead maybe we could go down and check it out." I suggested with a whisper.
"I'm not trying to rain on your parade mom but; Are you afraid that paparazzi and your fans are going to bother you?" Leah asked as she grabbed a banana out of the fruit bowl.
"My fans aren't going to be bothering us but I don't know if the paparazzi is going to be there because I'm pretty sure they are trying to get pictures of other celebrities and harass security." I explained while drinking some of the tea.
"Maybe we should just stay here and watch movies or play board games." Alyssa suggested.
"Good idea Aly." Leah agreed.
"I guess we will stay here and figure something to do I just thought it would be fun to go out and have mommy and daughter time before the new baby comes along." I whispered while trying not to sigh.
"The only reasons why I agree with Alyssa is because for one thing it's not the same without Daddy with us, secondly you wanted Aly and I to have a paparazzi free life and finally Alyssa and I don't want to get trampled by people fighting over who gets a picture or a autograph from you while we are trying to have a fun time." Leah explained trying not to cry.
"You have a point I did want your girls lives to be normal so let's pretend I didn't say anything about the fair." I said with a low voice.
The girls just nodded their heads at me and continued eating their breakfast.
About a few minutes past there was a knock on the door. I walked over to the door and my mom was at the door.
"Hi mom." I said with a low tone in my voice.
"What happened to your voice?" My mom asked with a confused look on her face.
"I was singing too many songs and my voice started to get sore." I whispered.
"In your early career when I would drive you to the studio and your voice was that sore you'll be on vocal rest for weeks and I wouldn't care how much that idiotic manager you still have would say." My mom said with a serious tone in her voice.
"I know." I whispered with a sigh.
Before my mom could talk Alyssa started running towards her.
"Grandma!" Alyssa squealed as she hugged her grandma.
"Hi sweetheart." My mom said as she hugged her granddaughter.
"Hi grandma." Leah replied as she walked over and hugged her grandma.
I just smiled at them.
While I was drinking my tea the girls and their grandma walked over to the couch and started watching some cartoons together.
As they were watching cartoons I started to look for something to take out for supper tonight and I'm not really in the mood for take out because I don't want to go and throw up in bathroom after eating.
So I took out some chicken and placed it on a plate on the stove then wait a few hours for it to untaw.
After I was done with that I washed my hands and dried them afterwards.
"The girls are having fun watching the powerpuff girls." My mom said with a smile as she walked over to me.
"That's good." I whispered as I continued to drink the tea.
"I remember you use to watch the powerpuff girls when you were Alyssa's age." My mom reminisces with a smile.
"Dallas and I would watch it everyday after school; I think Madison wasn't thought of yet." I said with a low voice.
"Actually I was pregnant with Madison but your father and I wanted to keep it a secret until we found out the gender of the baby because after all Madison was the last child I was going to have with your father before a few years down the road his cancer came back." My mom explained as she tried not to cry.
"I miss dad too; he was a good man." I replied with a whisper.
"He was a good man and I miss him so much." My mom said with a sadden tone in her voice.
"If dad was alive I know he would love to see Alyssa and the baby I'm pregnant with now." I responded with a low tone in my voice.
"I know he would of been and he will be happy that you've finally found the right person to love and care for you." My mom said with a serious look on her face.
"Dad would be gone seven years in May." I whispered as I tried my best not to cry.
"I can't believe that." My mom responded with a shocked tone in her voice.
"Me either." I said with low voice while trying not to cry.
"I loved your father as much as you love Darryl and he was the only man I ever loved and a few years after your father died I tried to go back into the dating scene again but all the guys I went out with I never felt a connection between us not like the way I met your father." My mom explained as she grabbed a tissue from the kitchen table.
"Just for curiosity; how did you and dad meet?" I asked with a whisper as I started to drink some of the tea.
"Well, I should sit down for this because it's a big story." My mom said as she pulled one of the chairs out of the table and dragged it towards me.
"I don't think you ever told me the story of how you too met." I whispered with a curious tone in my voice.
"No I haven't." My mom replied.
"It all started in high school your father was a basketball player and I didn't belong in the "cliques" like the jocks, the popular kids etc I was just a normal kid who didn't really care about the cliques all I cared about was my education so I could go into medical school to become the nurse I am now anyways your father and I were in a lot of classes and we would be forced to be partnered up a lot because of the alphabetical order bull crap and we hated it a lot. Of course your father at that time was too busy with basketball and his stuck up cheerleader girlfriends he had I had to do all the work by myself then he would expect me to write his name on it even though I did all the work." My mom explained as she sat down on the chair.
"But there was one time he had a date with his cheerleader girlfriend that Friday night and the project for whatever class it was the project had to be passed in Monday morning of course your father made me do all the work but this time I only wrote my name not his and when I passed in the project to the teacher she asked why your father's name wasn't on the project and I told her straight out "he was too busy playing with that bleached blonde in the back all weekend and he didn't help at all." Then when I told the teacher your father's face was as red as that dish soap." My mom added with a serious tone in her voice.
"What happened after that?" I asked with a whispered tone of intrest.
"Well two things happened that day; one: the cheerleader your father was dating at that time was so mad that she threatened to fight me after school behind the mall but jokes on her I won by a landslide she didn't wanna punch me because her manicure was $200 dollars." My mom answered as she rolled her eyes.
"The other thing that happened was; your father wanted to talk to me outside of the classroom because he wanted to "teach me a lesson for messing with a basketball player." We talked by the lockers and I told him straight out and asked him "Why should I write your name on that project ?" ; "you haven't helped me with any other project we had to do together because you were with that nit wit the whole time probably doing the "devil's tango." He just stood there because he knew I was right." My mom explained with a serious tone in her voice.
"Wow; I never thought my mom was a savage." I whispered with giggle.
"You get the savageness from me." My mom laughed.
"Anyways after a moment of silence he finally said something; well you may be right Dianna but now since you haven't wrote my name on that project my dad is going to kill me and if my coach finds out that I'm failing because of you I may get kicked off the team." Then I told him "karma will come to you soon enough." I just laughed at him after I said that then out of the blue he just gently slams me by the locker and starts kissing me at that moment I wanted to push him a way and possibly punch him but I had to give him credit he was even a good kisser at the age of seventeen." My mom added with a soft smile.
"Anything else happened?" I questioned with a low tone in my voice while drinking some more tea.
"After that day he broke up with the cheerleader and he started to get more focused on his school work then a few months later we started dating, we went to prom together, we had a long distance relationship because I went to medical school to become a nurse, I think your dad started working as a mechanic then a month after I graduated your father proposed and we got married then I was pregnant with Dallas then a few years down the road I had you, and another few years that I had Maddie." My mom explained as she tried not to cry.
"Your father and I had wonderful marriage and I haven't regretted it." My mom added as she got off the chair and pushed back over at the table and smiled.
Before I could talk Leah and Alyssa came over.
"What are you guys talking about ?" Leah asked with a confused look on her face.
"We we're just talking about your grandpa." My mom answered with a soft smile.
"Where is he ?" Alyssa asked as her eyes lit up.
"Honey, your grandpa Lovato died a long time ago and he's up in heaven. you never got to meet him because you weren't born and Leah was only four months old when he died." My mom answered as she tried her best not to cry.
"I wish I could meet him." Alyssa pouted.
"Trust me sweetheart I think all of us wish he was still here." My mom said as she gave Alyssa a hug.
After my mom hugged Alyssa we gave each other a group hug.
When we stopped hugging each other I decided to make supper and my mom was telling the girls how she met grandpa but in a more clean way and they could understand it.
About a few hours past the chicken was still cooking in the oven and the potatoes were boiling. While everything was cooking I grabbed some frozen peas and carrots from the freezer and started placing them in a pot with some water and let it boil.
As I was cooking my mom started watching a movie called enchanted I never seen it before but I think it's a live action princess movie.
While they were watching the movie I took the chicken out of the oven and it's smells incredible and I placed the chicken on the counter that had the coffee machine on it then I checked on the vegetables and they are almost done.
If Darryl was home he would be so proud of me that I didn't burn the house down and I'm proud that I didn't burn the house down either. For once I finally succeed.
After the vegetables were done I started to get everything ready with the help of my mom because if I didn't have any help I would be running like an marathon runner around the kitchen trying to get everything ready and dished up.
Finally after a few minutes of putting everything on each plate and poured drinks for everyone we finally started eating our food.
"Wow mom; I'm impressed you didn't burn the house down or I have run down the hall for the fire extinguisher." Leah said with a suprised look on her face as she tasted the chicken.
"I'm proud of myself that I made a meal for all of us and it doesn't taste burnt at all." I whispered as I started eating some mashed potatoes.
"Daddy will be so proud!" Alyssa exclaimed.
"You really did a good job cooking today Demi; it's tastes like a professional cook made this." My mom said with a smile.
"I'm not a professional cook but I'm honored." I said with low tone in my voice while smiling.
Everyone just smiled at me and continued eating their food.
A few hours past everyone was finished eating and I decided I was going to do the dishes but my mom offered instead because I was cooking four hours.
So I decided to watch some cartoons with the kids until it was bedtime for all of us. Today was a good day and I'm proud of myself.
When my mom was finished with the dishes she cane over and gave us a hug and a kiss goodnight because she had to leave and go to get some sleep because it was almost 9:30pm.
We gave her a hugged and a kiss back then we got off the couch and waved at her as she got towards her car then when she drove a little past the mailbox she barmpt her car horn and drove a way.
Shortly after my mom left the house I put the kids to bed and then I turned the tv off and I told the kids to brush their teeth before I go in and read them a bedtime story.
The girls nodded their heads at me while I closed the curtains and turned off the kitchen and the living room lights off.
After I turned the lights off I walked down the hall and before I could go over to my room and turn the bedroom light on the girls went in their room.

"What story book do you guys want me to read tonight ?" I asked with a whisper.
"I want you to read goldilocks and the three bears." Leah answered as she handed me the book.
"That book is boring; I want you to read Cinderella." Alyssa sighed as she handed me the book.
"It's better than reading a fairytale for the last three night in a row." Leah argued.
"Well I don't want to hear about three bears wanting to eat a little girl." Alyssa said as anger came into her voice.
"I rather hear about three bears wanting to eat a little girl then hearing about a maid who ends up with a prince at the end and her shoes are made out of glass." Leah sighed.
" Girls; Stop your arguing or I'm not reading anything." I scold with frustration.
"Okay fine we will stop." Leah and Alyssa sighed.
"Good; now since both of you want me to read two complete different books you too are going to play a round of rock, paper, scissors and who ever wins that round I'll read their book first then the other book after." I explained with a whisper.
"Deal!" Leah and Alyssa exclaimed excitedly.
"Okay then; ready set go." I whispered.
After the girls played a round of rock, paper, scissors. Alyssa won the round and I know that Leah wasn't happy at all.
I took a wooden chair by Leah's closet and put in the middle between the beds then I placed "Goldilocks and the three bears" book on my lap as I started to open the Cinderella book.
When I started reading Alyssa started squeezing her teddy bear and Leah was only listening to the story because she knew I was going to read her story next.
As the Alyssa's story was starting to end I cleared my throat even though I was whispering when I was reading it but hopefully soon I can read normal like Darryl does.
"That was a great story!" Alyssa exclaimed.
"Cinderella is a good story and now it's time to read your sister's story." I whispered.
"FINALLY!" Leah exclaimed with pride.
"You have fun reading mommy; I'm going to sleep." Alyssa said as she was starting to turn over.
"You're not falling asleep; you have to listen to your sister's story because after all she listened to yours." I explained with a low tone in my voice.
"Yeah." Leah said as she stuck her tongue out at her sister.
"Okay fine I'll listen." Alyssa sighed as I started opening the book.
As I was reading Leah's story the girls tried to keep their eyes open and I was trying my best not fall asleep while reading because I was feeling tired as well.
When I finally finished the book I got out of my chair and placed the book on top of Alyssa's dresser and I gave the girls a hug and a kiss goodnight each.
"Goodnight mom." Leah said with a smile.
"Goodnight mommy." Alyssa replied as she started cuddling with her teddy bear.
"Good night my sweethearts; sweet dreams." I whispered with as smile as I started walking towards the door.
The girls just smiled at me then I opened the door and turned the light off.
After I turned the light off I walked over to mine and Darryl's bedroom.

When I got into the bedroom I took my shirt and pants off then I walked over to my closet and quickly threw on a nightgown that had roses on it and had a rim of lace on the top and the bottom of the gown.
Shortly after I got changed I took my scrunchie out of my hair and then I gently combed my hair and while I was looking at the vanity mirror.
In my mind I could picture Darryl standing there and having his arms around me then he's telling me how beautiful I am like he tells me every night.
While I was done thinking about Darryl for one night I walked over to the bed and kissed his picture on my nightstand then I started to turn the light off.
Then I slowly went to sleep.
