Two days later, Pragya was getting late for the office.

Pragya: Maa, I will have breakfast at the office. I'm running late already.

Sarla: Arey Pragya, breakfast is ready. Just eat and go na. Only five minutes.

Pragya: No Maa, next time. I don't want my boss to complain.

Sarla brought out a plate with food and began to feed her and Pragya had no other choice but to eat.

Just then Bulbul walked in.

Bulbul : Ohoo! What's going on here? Maa you started pampering her already?

Sarla: Arey Pragya, is something burning? Did you get that smell?

She then winks at Pragya. Pragya side hugs her mother and looks over at Bulbul.

Pragya: No Maa, not something...someone is burning!

Bulbul: Maa...Di, I am not getting jealous! I got used to the fact that no one in this house cares about me. Your precious daughter woke up late and yet you won't say anything to her. You love her only na. Only I get your scoldings. No love...

Then Bulbul started with her fake tears...

Pragya: Oye Dramebaaz, save your acting for another time. I'm getting late.

Sarla laughed.

Sarla: You are spoiled, that's why you are behaving like this.

Pragya: Too spoiled, Maa. Ok Bulbul, what is the matter with you?

Bulbul: Nothing Di.

Pragya: I know you inside-out. You only use the fake tears when you want something....or you are planning something. That's why you go overboard on your acting scenes.

Bulbul: It's nothing, Di.. I am just...

Pragya: Bulbul...

Bulbul: Actually...

Sarla: Speak fast na, your Di is getting late.

Bulbul: Maa...Di, I will tell you both, but you should agree with me.

Pragya: We can only agree with you if you tell us, na?

Bulbul: I want to take up a part time job

Sarla: Arey Bulbul, what's the need for you to work now? First complete college and then you can do as you wish.

Bulbul: Maa pleaseee. College is almost over. Only my project work remaining. Only a part time job. Please Maa!

Pragya: Maa, I will talk to her. You have to go to college na. You told us you have an important seminar today, right?

Sarla: Yeah, but what about you? You will get even later for office.

Pragya: Don't worry. I will manage.

Sarla: Ok Pragya. I will talk to you both later. Bulbul, there is no need to do job now. Enjoy your college life.

Sarla kissed both her daughters and left.

Pragya: Ok Bulbul, tell me the truth now. Why do you want to work? Is there any problem?

Bulbul: Arey Di. No issues. I am just getting bored now. So I just thought i should take up a work to do something constructive with my time. No other reason.

Pragya: Are you sure there is no other reason?

Bulbul then hugs her and breaks down in tears.

Pragya: Bulbul, why are you crying? What happened to you? please tell me bulbul, don't cry please...

Bulbul: Why are we suffering like this, Di? We borrowed some money two years ago for Dadi's operation. Dadi isn't with us now, but that huge loan is still there. If papa was with us, we wouldn't be facing all this. I know how much Maa is struggling to run this home and family. Di, did you know that the loan guy came yesterday and how rudely he behaved with us?

Pragya: And you are now telling me this? Even Maa hid it from me? Just because we own him money doesn't mean he can treat us in any way he likes!

becose of that person pappa is not with us, Leave it, Bulbul, I don't want to spoil my mood because of him. Back to you. Maa is not the only one working now. I have a job too now, na? So don't worry. We will manage everything.

Bulbul: But Di, Ma is thinking about your marriage too, na.

Pragya: Bulbul, I don't want to get married. I don't want to hurt Maa's feelings but I don't know how to tell her.

Bulbul: But Dii...

Pragya: No buts and ifs...

Bulbul: Please Di, it's my responsibility too. I too want to help Maa. I will do a part time job only. Please Di!

After lots of pleading from Bulbul, Pragya finally agreed!

Pragya: Ok Bulbul, I will help you find a part time job, but your main focus should be on your assignments and college, right?

Bulbul: Ok Di, deal!

Bulbul hugged her and both left for the office and college.

At the office,

Abhi was speaking on his mobile phone.

Abhi: I'm so sorry, Mr. Anand. There was an error from our end that could not be rectified in time. Since the mistake was ours, so we will pay for the loss. Again, I am really very sorry. It will fixed very soon. I will come here personally now and take care of things. Ok thank you. See you soon.

Abhi calls the manager into his office and began scolding him. Abhi's cabin door was slightly opened and everyone heard his shouting. For the first time his employees were seeing him like this.

Abhi: Where is your head these days? You couldn't even complete one single task! Because of your mistake we now have to pay 70 lakhs to Mr. Anand. Is there a reason you were unable to do your job?

Manager: Sir, actually...

Abhi: What actually?

Manager: Sir, it was Pragya Madam's mistake, Sir.

Abhi: Pragya? How was it her mistake?

Manager: Pragya Madam is late in arriving to the office and all the details of the transaction were kept in her computer. No one apart from her has access to that computer, Sir.

Abhi closed his eyes in frustration. Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm his temper.

Abhi: So why don't you call her? Do I have to tell you that too?

Manager: Sir, we are trying, but she is not picking up her phone. We sent one person to her home, Sir, but he stuck in traffic.

Abhi: Ok then. Arrange interviews tomorrow...for a new assistant.

Manager: Yes Sir.

Afer twenty minutes, Pragya came to the office. She had forgotten about the transaction. Everyone started murmuring as they say Pragya walk in and Pragya caught whispers of their talk.

Employee 1: I never saw Mr. Abhi this angry.

Employee 2: This happened because of Pragya only. I am sure Sir will dismiss her.

Emloyee 1: yeah .. abhi sir said na arrange for interviews , for new assistant so this is the last day for her...

Pragya didn't understand anything.

The manager came and shouted at her and told her what happened.

Manager: The company has to pay Mr. Anand 70 lakhs! If he asks you to pay the money, what will you do? I've never seen a more irresponsible person in my life. Becaue of you even I have gotten in trouble. You've only joined the company a few days back, yet sir gave you all the responsibilities and authority. The power has gone to your head. That's why you're behaving like this! This is your last day in this office. Sir has asked me to appoint another assistant. It's better that you don't go near Mr. Mehra. He is not in a good mood.

With that he left.

Pragya's eyes were filled with tears filled eyes.

What if he asks me to pay for the loss? Where will I get that kind of money from? Oh God, please save me! I was already in problem...now this! i was finally happy that I finally got a job and would be able to help Maa. Now look what happened. I lost it!

Whenever I remember that person something like this happens! Because of them I forgot everything! I hate them!

I told bulbul that I will manage everything... but now what happed ... I lot this job because of my carelessness.

Pragya rest her head on the desk and began crying in her cabin....
