Emily's POV

We had finally finished signing the adoption papers and now Jade belonged to us. I still wasn't sure how she would react but I hope she isn't too mad at us......

I told Evan to go get her and I sat down on the couch and waited.......

*Time Skip*

I saw Evan come down the stairs with Jade......

Now was better than never.......

I took a deep breath and said "Jade for the past few months you've become like a daughter to us..... we're not trying to take away your family..... we want to be your family...."

"So? What are you saying?"

"We've completed the adoption paperwork and now you belong to us...."

I was ready for her to be mad.... I was ready for her to yell at us..... I was not expecting her to hug me......

Jade's POV

I hugged my aunt now mom with tears of joy going down my face......

She hugged me back and asked "You're not mad?"

"No, I'm happy that you're my mom now, it's what my mommy would have wanted....."

Emily's POV

I smiled at her......

We where now one happy family......
