"P-put me down..."

"Kaneki do you think I'm crazy enough to put you down now after I freaking snook into Aogiri Tree to get you back? Look we're going home. You got that?"

After that everything's silent. Its soon broken by the sound of feet hitting the ground. I realize that Kaneki has somehow gotten off me.

"You're injured. Please...just let me take you home."

"I'm sorry. But I can't go back..." Kaneki says with his head facing the ground.

"What do you mean by that?!?! Everyone would be so happy if you came back... Do you know how we felt after you left? It felt like something was missing. Like a piece of a puzzle was gone. Kaneki you are that piece. You're apart of our family and we won't be complete without you."

Kaneki stands in shock at my response and tears slowly form. They fall down onto the ground.

I walk over to Kaneki and hug him. His head falls onto my shoulder and he continues to cry.

"It's okay..." I try to comfort him.

"...I'm so sorry. Sorry for everything." He says

"This isn't your fault. Ok?"

He's still crying but he slowly nods his head in response.

"Now...lets go home."

I slowly stand up with him and we begin to make our way towards the exit.
