A kick inside my stomach wakes me up. It's still dark outside. I look at my alarm clock to see what time it is. 3am. Why does our son always have to be active at this time? I sigh and then roll over, trying to find a comfortable position. But that ain't that easy due to my baby bump and the fact that the little one follows his Jadon's steps. I roll over again and again but just don't find any comfortable position. Suddenly warm arms wrap around me and I feel Jadon's hot breath at my ear as he whispers: "What's wrong, princess? Why can't you sleep?" I turn around in his arms and look him in his beautiful, sleepy eyes and answer: "Our little prince is playing football again." Jadon nods, shows me a cute little smile and then crawls down. He puts his hands under my shirt and pulls it over my belly. He softly strokes over my bump, feathers a kiss on it and then says: "Hey my little prince, I hope you're doing fine. Okay, I'm sure you are since you're playing football again. But it's three in the morning and your mummy would like to sleep. So give daddy one more kick and then calm down and let her sleep, okay?" And as always our little boy listens to his dad. I feel one last kick, then he stops playing football. Jadon strokes over my belly and kisses it for a few more minutes. As he's crawling up to me again I take his face in my hands and connect our lips for an intense kiss. Jadon returns it and slightly smiles into the kiss. As we let go of each other he asks: "Do you think you can sleep now?" I shake my head and as he asks why I blush and mumble: "I'm hungry." My boyfriend chuckles, feathers a kiss between my eyebrows and then asks: "What would you like to eat?" I think for a moment and then say: "I'm craving cookies. Like... Chocolate chip cookies. But we don't have any so it's a stupid craving anyway." Jadon strokes over my cheek once, then stands up and also pulls me on my feet. "What are you doing, Jadon?", I ask. He shows me his beautiful smile once again and then answers: "If my angel craves cookies she'll get cookies. Let's go to the kitchen, I'll make you some." While saying that he takes one of his hoodies and pulls it over my head. Also he gets my warm socks and puts them onto my feet. I wrap my arms around him, connect our lips and then say: "You don't have to do this. You need some sleep to get fit again." But Jadon shakes his head and kisses me again before saying: "My most important job is being your man and our baby boy's father. And if you want cookies at night I'll make you cookies. And I couldn't sleep without you in my arms or with you moving that much anyway. So just let me make you cookies." I smile happily and then enjoy another intense kiss. This man is just fantastic. "I love you Jadon. And I really couldn't imagine a better man and father than you.", I whisper as we separate our lips again. Jadon just smiles at me with loads of love in his eyes and kisses me again. Then he lifts me up and carries me to the kitchen where he puts me down at the worktop. I watch him make the dough and form the cookies with a big smile on my face. This man is just perfect. I mean... It's 3am and he's making me chocolate chip cookies. That's so... Wonderful.
While the cookies are in the oven Jadon stands between my legs and just holds me. I happily snuggle up to his warm, muscular body and sigh. I just feel so loved right now. And I feel so much love for Jadon and our little boy inside of me. For my little family. As the cookies are ready we let them cool down for a moment before Jadon hands me a plate with a few of them. Whilst he hugs me again I eat them and - not gonna lie- they taste amazing. "Mhhhh, so good.", I sigh as I've eaten the last cookie. Jadon chuckles and puts the plate aside before asking: "Satisfied and ready for bed now?" which I answer to by smiling and nodding. Jadon lifts me up again and carries me back to our bedroom where we snuggle up very close together. "I live you, Lily. And our little one too, of course.", Jadon whispers in my ear. I smile and then whisper: "We love you too, Jadon." before falling asleep again, surrounded by his scent, warmth and love.
