Salty Potato

I patrolled the outside walls with my friends and comrades, French Fry Soldier and Warrior Cinnabon, looking for any sign of immediate danger. A female traveler of about our age, going by the name Madeleine, appeared to have been asking the citizens of Savoria on how to get to the palace. It was highly suspicious during this period of war. We decided to take her to the Empress, our friend Wintermint Cookie. We took her to the palace.

Wintermint Cookie thanked us and gave a pardon of rest. She then proceeded to greet and embrace Madeleine. Wintermint Cookie then introduced us to her childhood friend. We greeted her and offered her some pastries and tea. Wintermint Cookie explained why the citizens were so tense. "The Soda kingdom has declared war on us," she said. "They have been jealous for eons because we, the food, have different textures and flavors, undertones and colors. The Soda people only have different tastes and colors."

Suddenly, a magical warning boomed through the kingdom. "THE ENEMY HAS BEEN SPOTTED. CITIZENS, ACTIVATE ALL SECURITY MEASURES. SOLDIERS, PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR BATTLE. THE ENEMY HAS BEEN SPOTTED. CITIZENS, ACTIVATE ALL SECURITY MEASURES. SOLDIERS, PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR BATTLE. WE REPEAT: THE ENEMY HAS BEEN SPOTTED. CITIZENS, ACTIVATE ALL SECURITY MEASURES. SOLDIERS, PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR BATTLE. THE ENEMY HAS BEEN SPOTTED. CITIZENS, ACTIVATE ALL SECURITY MEASURES. SOLDIERS, PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR BATTLE."

Wintermint Cookie stood up.
