Alex's POV:

Come on, guys. Knock it off."

Danica tried to make us up. Alice and I have decided to be rivals when it comes to food. I need to show her that fast food still tastes better.

"...sigh...I need to come with an idea to make both of you up...hmm...how about you show your skills on the road?" Danica snaps an idea for us. "Well, if you have money and all, you can hire a food truck. Why don't you try it?"

"Aha! That's a great idea!" Alice and I was enlightened and suddenly hugged Danica. "Thank you, Danica! It will be a great help!"

After our stay in the fast food restaurant, Alice and I return to our car and start to drive me back to my home. For a moment, we didn't talk to each other...since we are betting opposing foods as best tasting...but...Alice decided to speak up...

"Umm...Alex, Sorry if I shouted at you earlier..."

"No, it's fine. Don't worry, let's forget about it." I smiled at him. "What we should think about now is how we get a food truck...and I know it will be difficult?

"Hmm? Why did you say so?"

"Well...in my lifetime, I never saw a food truck before." I told her. "If I did, I just saw it on television...owned by the most richest chefs in town. Man...buying a truck may be very expensive. Even a trailer, we can't afford to have one!"

"Aleeex! We don't need to buy one! Hehehe!" Alice giggled back and looked at me. "All you just need is a little perseverance and some imagination! Hehehe!!!"

The following day, Alice invited me into her another house somewhere in Imus, Cavite. Wow! I didn't know that she has another house other than first one. But...the bad part is...going into it. I left very early in the morning from my house in Silang...but I spent the whole morning commuting into hours of monster traffic...and yet...the jeepney broke off in that middle of excruciating heat...and I was forced to walk hundreds of miles of narrow roads before...I reached her...

"Hello! Alex! You finally found me house!" Very exhausted, I saw Alice waved at from the other side of the gate. "I'm so worried that you never reach this place-woaah!!! Alex!!!"

Out of tiredness, I started to collapse in front of the gate. Quickly, Alice opened it up and rushed towards me...

"Alex! Alex! Are you alright! I'm so sorry that you come here in this state!"

"No...it's fine..." I managed to smile at him. "It's just I'm so unlucky these days..."

"Hey! Don't say words like that!" She then help me to stand up and walk into her house. "Come on! I will get you something that will feel you better."

Alice's POV:

I guided Alex into my living room so that he could rest for a moment. Then I pour out a glass of pineapple juice and gave it to him

"What happened to you?!" I asked him worriedly as he consumes the juice very quickly. "Why are you cranked up?!"

"That's because I need to endure hours of very long traffic and some sort of a heatwave just to make it here."

"Oh, jeez! I'm so sorry to hear that!!!"

"No, it's fine! Really!" Alex then changed the topic. "So...what are we gonna do today?"

"Well...our food trailer is here! Hehehe!" I boastfully giggled at him.

"What?! You mean for real?!?!"

"Of course, silly! Hehehe!" Then I offered her hand to him. "If you already took a rest, why don't we take a look?"

I dragged Alex into my backyard...just to show the food trailer that I mean...

"TAAADAAA! HEHEHE!!!"

"Woaaah...is this real?" Alex said that pun again to me. "I mean...you don't have any money to buy it?"

"Well...I just found this truck this morning when I was searching the garage for something that I could sell to buy for a food truck but...what do you know, I already have one! Hehehe...he..."

While I was explaining how this unsuspecting truck was discovered, I notice Alex stared with awe at the truck...as he was thinking that his dream, whatever that is, is starting to come true...

"Umm...hello! Alex! Are you listening?" I wave my hand to Alex to snap out. "I was explaining anything, you know?"

"Oh...so-sorry! I really...I mean really don't see a food truck in person." Alex explains. "I actually told you about it, remember?"

"Alright, alright. Apology accepted. Let's just try to see what inside, won't you?"

We walked to the back of the truck and opened its metal door. There, we saw a clean...and seems to be stainless...kitchen.

"Wow! It's like brand new!" My eyes are sparkling while I walked around and touched every part of the kitchen. "I never thought that this kitchen is still clean for so long! I wonder why this truck is here..."

"What do you mean you wonder why?" Alex was visibly confused by my statement.

"Well duh! I'm not interested with this trucks and all before!" I explained my side. "My father used to be a driver of cars and limousines of famous people and celebrities. But him...driving a food truck...I have no idea if he drive this."

"It doesn't matter whether your father drive this truck or not!" Alex then makes an evil grin to me. "The thing is...the stage is already set to which food is better...and I'm not gonna let my fast food be beaten by your own cooking!"

"Oh yeah?!"

"Yeah!"

"Oh yeah?!?!"

"Yeah!!"

"OH YEAH?!?!?!"

"YEAAAH!!!"

"You're on!!!" Then I set a deal for him. "If you won, I will forget my fear on fast food and help you find a new job as a frycook. But if I win, you will not eat...even a single bite of fast food ever again. How's that?"

"Sure! It's a deal!" He then shook my hand as accepting my offer. "But...it will be just a friendly competition, right?"

"Of course, Alex! Hehehe!" I giggled in response. "You are already helping me in pursuing my passion for cooking! Thank you, Alex!"

"By the way, Alice, we should start planning our road trip now!"

"Huh? Roadtrip?"

"Yup!" Alex makes a thumbs up to me. "With this food truck in our side, we can travel all across the country. There, everybody will experience our so-called 'culinary expertise'! Hehehe!!!"

"Hehehe! You're right!" I laughed at Alex's joke. "But first, we need to buy all the ingredi-waaah!!!!"

"Alice?!?!"
