Roadtrip Day 15
Destination: Calbayog City, Samar Province

Alex's POV:

She's really struggling...

She struggles to use her legs to push pedals of the food truck. She claims that her legs have finally has a little movement...enough to drove the truck...at least slowly. But right now, she gives all the energy that she has to make her legs push the pedals...but to no avail...her legs are lifeless again. It's time to make a move.

"Umm...Flonne, let me handle this, okay?" I try to intervene but...

"Hey! Don't bother me!" Flonne just scolded me. "Let me handle this, please?"

Claire grins at me, as Flonne begins to use her crutches to compliment her legs in pushing the pedals. Because of this, the truck's speed is inconsistent...sometimes it gets too fast, sometimes too slow and one time...Flonne's crutch push the accelerator too hard that we speed up towards a bus in front of us.

"THE BRAKE, FLONNE! THE BRAAAKE!!!!"

"WAAAAH!!!!" Flonne pushes the brakes...using her legs...and all the energy that is left for driving. The truck do stopped but...

"UUUGH!!! OOOW!!!" Flonne slammed her face into steering wheel...and as she recovers...I notice that she's close to...umm...crying...

"...Lexi...sniff...Lexi...sniff...my head...sniff...it hurts...sniff...it hurts so bad! Huhuhu!!!"

"There, there...I told you that let me drive, now look what you've done to yourself." I hug my childish girlfriend to calm her down. "Don't worry, let me kiss your forehead to get you better."

And that's what I did, in the midst of the silent flirts of Danica and Claire, I kiss Flonne's forehead...like a parent to his child. It's...umm...embarrassing, isn't?

"Now, can you let me drive now?" I ask my once fiesty driver. "You need to heal your legs, okay?"

Flonne silently nodded, as I took over the wheel and continue our drive into unchartered roads...searching for our next destination: the city of Calbayog.

"Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me where is Calbayog?" I stop in random place every now and then, asking pedestrians for directions.

"Oh, you just need to go straight ahead of the main road."

"Alright, thanks."

We traveled for a little less than a hour after we dock in town of Allen in Northern Samar. For the entire trip, we see rural settlements, tall coconut trees and grasslands, vast farmlands and a view of the seascape...just like our nature trail through Quezon and Bicol.

Then the scenery turns a little bit urban...when we began to pass by many houses and businesses. Little did we know that we are already arrived in Calbayog.

I expected moderate to heavy traffic here...just like any other cities that I've visited but...spoke too soon. Perhaps, we can enjoy a peaceful day after all.

"Ooh! Ooh! I hear some waterfalls nearby! Hehehe!" Claire senses tingled. "Hey, Alex! Let's follow the sound of the water!"

I comply to what Claire is telling me to do. Thanks to her swift hearing, she guided me to right directions into the famous Calbayog waterfalls...

"WOOOW!!! COOOL!!!" The girls are astonished to what they are seeing right now.

"Hey, guys! Let's go for a swim!" Claire quickly invites us.

"Huh? How about our clothes?" Flonne easily confused and asks.

"Come on, Alice! This happens once in a while so let's hold on into it!" Danica convinces my girlfriend. "And besides, you're the one who does the work today: cooking some maruya, singing in a contest, and trying to drive this truck. What do you say, Alice?"

"Hehehe! Giving me a little treat, huh? Okay!" In the end, Flonne agrees with the idea. "Just remember, no more nice guy, okay? We're gonna sell some foods whether you like it or not!"

"Yes, mam!"

Danica's POV:

We walked straight into the edge of the falls...well, we don't have any swimming wear or so, but at least we just need to take a plunge and forget all the troubles of the world...just for a moment. And for me...I have some horny idea for it! Huehehe!!!

"Wow...I never seen the water is so clear." Alex comments while he carries her girlfriend Alice at his back. "I wonder if I there some fishes down there..."

"Yeah, if I could see one, I can make my first seafood dish." Alice added. "That way, I could find a way to beat you, Lexi!"

"Ha! Don't underestimate me, Flonne. I still have one secret weapon against you."

"Huehehe! Let's see about that!"

"Ehehehe! Here we go again, I smell some competition again." Claire comments. "Come on, Alex. You need to beat your girlfriend. She's so ahead of you no-woah!

Oops! My hand slipped. Hehehe!!!

"WAAAAAAH!!!!" I pushed Claire, stumbling to Alex and Alice, making all of them splashing to the river below! Hehehe! And when they rise above the water...

"DAAANICAAA!!!" My friends scolded me. "Why did you do that?!"

"Huehehe!!!" All that I did is giggled on what I have just did...and then...

"Splaaash!!!" I jumped into the river, much to the mounting excitement of my friends.

And for the next few minutes, we enjoy the cool and beautiful scenery...sprinkling and splashing each other with water, posing ourselves under the waterfalls, and simply having fun at each other. We try to go a little bit further from the waterfall...and we saw what we are looking for...

"He-hey! Lexi! There's fish!" Alice's the first one to saw them...though it's short-lived, as it is caught by a fisherman nearby.

"Oh! You're supposed to see them? My bad!" The fisherman notices Alice's disappointed face when he caught the observed fish. "Do you want to look at them?"

"Yep."

The fisherman simply nodded. And so Alice swam her way into the fisherman's boat, and climbs to its side. As she got up and observes what the fisherman had just caught, she smiles...

"May I ask, sir...how much do you sell this fish?"

"Oh! The prices revolve around 40 to 60 pesos per kilo." The fisherman replies with a smile. "Why do you ask, milady?"

"Well, I'm gonna buy some from you." Alice smiles back. "I'm gonna cook something delicious. Don't worry, though. I'll give you some for you."

"Oh, sure! Why not? But...you need to buy it on our stall in the public market nearby."

"Okie!"

Hmm...based from what I heard from this conversation...it seems that...Alice is already making her first move! She'll gonna bury Alex to seal the victory! I'm gonna tell him right now!
