Roadtrip Day 16
Location: San Bernardino Strait (between Sorsogon and Northern Samar)

Alice Flonne's POV:

Aaah...we're finally going to Visayas! Yaay!

And the smell of the ocean...snuffle...it's so cool and refreshing! I'm gonna enjoy my stay here! Hehehe!

But as for my friends...

"Ugh...I think that I'm gonna puke!!!" Lexi's plan to calm Danica and Claire's seasickness failed from the start. "It's all your fault, Alex!"

"Hey...it's not my fault..." Lexi, also seasick, refutes back. "I thought that we will gonna sail in calm seas...I didn't expect this rough!"

Lexi is visibly finding a hard time to stop his mouth to...umm...puke. So I decided to take some action.

"Hey! Don't take it out! It's gross!" I directed my seasick boyfriend. "Just lie down...here, take my medicines."

"Thanks..." Lexi accepted the medicine and passed it to my friends.

"Just clear your mind and rest up while we're at sea, okay? Just don't think about rough seas, okie?"

My friends nodded as I leave them to take some rest. Using my crutches, I limped my way back to our truck that is parked in the middle of a stuffed cardeck... I mean I needed to snuggle into small spaces just to reach the door.

Hmm? What am I doing in the food truck while we're sailing? Well, I'm gonna cook something for...ehehehe...sneak a chance to take ahead of my rival Lexi! Hehehehe!!!!!

Let's see...what quick dish can I make to satisfy the passengers while cruising the seas...hmm...how about sweets? But...hmm...oh! I got it now! It's so practical that it will take a little bit of time to finish it! How about maruya! Hehe-waaah!!!

"Umph!" That eureka moment make me forgot that my legs are still not healed so my crutches slipped off, making me stumble and hit the floor with my bottom. Since Lexi is not healthy enough to help me, I need to rely on myself today. Alright, let's do this!

"Hiyaaa!!!" I pick up my crutches and stand up so I can reach and sit on my wheelchair that is left in the foodtruck.

I turned my back to the refrigerator to pick up a bunch of saba bananas inside...peeled each one of it...sliced lengthwise...and dipped into the batter of egg and flour.

"Lalalala...." And since I'm alone, I can him whatever I want while I deepfry battered bananas in my wok. I already smell the sweetness coming out from my cooking. Also, humming while cooking makes the food so yummy! Hehehe!!!

Tadaaa!!! My very own maruya is done! Hehehe! Time to give this to everyone...free of charge! Hehehe...huh?

"Huh? Lexi! What are you doing here?" I didn't notice that my boyfriend us up and already inside the food truck. "Are you still sick? Do you need something from me?"

"Oh...I'm still sick...I'm just going back here to get something to eat...I've been puking for moments now...huh?"

My heart is literally pounding right now when my Lexi saw the dish that I just created...let alone that I cooked one without the permission of my boyfriend...which is my cooking rival!

"Oooh!!! What should I do?!?!" I said to myself when Lexi randomly picks a piece of my dish and take a bite...

"Cruuunch!!!" I can barely hear a bit of maruya being crush by Lexi's jaws...and when I looked to his eyes for a reaction, I see him smiling...just like I wanted.

"Aaah...that feels so much better." Lexi comments about my dish. "Alright then, carry on what you are doing right now...while I get something else to satisfy my stomach..."

"But...take care of yourself, you're still seasick." I directed my boyfriend. "After you do your stuff, go back to rest, okay?"

"Yep, Flonne."

I limped my way out of the truck and again...slip through tight spaces to return to my deck, just to try to give my fellow passengers some of my delicacies...

"Umm...for those who are hungry right now, you can have some maruya for free..."

At first, no one notices that I'm selling foods during this voyage...mmm! Why won't you buy it...it's free, you know! Hmph! If you don't, I'm gonna eat it by myself! Besides, this can be my treat to myself!

"....hnnng....hnnng..."

Then suddenly, my phone in my pocket rang...I picked it up and...oh! It's my big brother Kyle calling me! Hehehe!

Alice: Hello! Kyle, is that you?

Kyle: Yes, little sis Alice! Who else can it be?! Hehehe!!!

Anyway, what's up, Alice?

Alice: Well, we're in a middle of our voyage to Northern Samar and right now, nobody wanted to taste my sweet maruya! Hmph!

Kyle: Oh come on, little sis! You can do better to fare your dishes to your customers!

Alice: Hehehe! Thanks, big bro! You always motivating me!

Kyle: Your welcome!

Anyway, how your little friends are doing right now?

Alice: Ehehehe...actually, right now, they don't feel so good. They're seasick.

Kyle: Hehehe! I feel bad about them.

But as I'm about to reply to my brother's comment, somebody went in front of me...and based from his looks, he's visibly hungry and wanted to take some of my sweets...

Alice: Big bro, I'll call you back later. I'm gonna attend my sweets here.

Kyle: No prob, lil sis! I'll wait for you, okay?

I then hang out my phone to attend the boy who is curious about what I am giving. But not a single word was heard from him...perhaps he is shy to ask...

"Do you want some of my sweets? Come on, go ahead...I'm giving all of these for free!" I smile at him to encourage him to buy...but he still didn't speak. Instead...he take more than half of my cooked maruya and runs away.

Well...aside from that boy, nobody wants to get my free snack...whatever I do to convince them...oh well, I guess I'm gonna eat it by myself.

"CRUUUUNCH!!!!"

Mmm!!! So sweeet!!! It tastes like toast from the outside...but it tastes like sweet bananas at the inside! Kyaaa!!! This tastes so great...I wonder why people don't take this so lightly...huh?

The boy from earlier comes back to me...along with his mother. Oh no! Probably my dish has created a problem...maybe an allergy or something...or even worse!

"Carl! I told you not to interfere with someone else you don't know!" I even heard her mother scolding him. "Because of you...ugh! Let's just go to her!"

Oh no! I'm so screwed right now!!!
