Roadtrip Day 8
Location: Heritage Village, Vigan City, Ilocos Notre.

Alex's POV:

"Hello...are you Elizabeth Lopez? Mr. Kyle Molina has received a special price because of joining our promo. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, he cannot claim it...though he told me that you are considered to be his representative in claiming the prize...well that's okay...you can claim it after work...really? You will gonna claim the prize? Well...we are waiting here in Vigan Heritage Village, right in front of the cathedral. Thanks and have a nice day!"

Whoa! I didn't know that Flonne is excellent telemarketer! But anyway...what the?

"Flonne! Why did you lie on your call?"

"Op! That's a white lie! Come on, do you have a single moment that your mind gets a bit horny?" Flonne winked at me. "Okay, let's get started!"

"But what dish do you want to do?"

"Huh? What are you talking about?" I wondered why Flonne is now pouting me. "You said that fast food makes a conversation started, right? Well...get some idea, you poobrain!"

"Wait...you're...giving my fastfood a chance?"

"Of course, idiot!" Flonne slapped my back. "We're not in a competition you know so let me help you...not to mention that you still owe me an apology for the commotion earlier! Hmph!"

"Alright! Alright! I accept!"

But really, in all the recipes that I know...what fastfood can I do just for a couple? On wait, I remember...that date between Carlos and Tin-tin back in Baguio...that big and round pastry with some cheese and toppings on it...what was it again? Aha! I know what I'm gonna do!

"Flonne! Let's make pizza!" I get motivated by the idea I just make. "And that's when I need your help."

"Yes, finally! That's the thing that I'm waiting for! Hehehe!" Flonne punned me and giggled. "So, what I can do for you?"

"Well, this...umm...fastfood...needs some elements of your cooking. Do you dare to add yours?"

"Well...huehehe...you don't need to ask that!" Flonne grins and chuckles at me.

With that I put out single boxes of wheat and flour from my compartment in the refrigerator. With a little amount of water, I mixed it to form dough. After moments of kneeded and moulded so many times...I decided to try spinning the dough...just like the professional pizza chefs do. Well, it's always hard from the start, even to the extent that I make my Flonne's clothes soiled.

"Splat!"

"Hmm!!! Alex! Be careful!" Flonne pouted me.

"Hehehe! My bad!"

I continued in trying to spin the dough with my hands to make it round...until I mastered it, to the amazement of my girlfriend.

"Woooah! Coool!!! You already mastered it!"

"Well, of course! A fastfood frycook always needs to excel in so many ways! Hehehe!" I boasted her and smiled.

When the crust is formed, it's Flonne's turn to decorate it. All of what remains of her ingredients in the refrigerator...she sprinkled it all: some kinds of cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, hams, eggs, and a little vegetables. Hmm...she is really creative, huh? Well, I don't complained about that.

"Are you now finished, Flonne?"

"Well, I have exhausted all of my seasonings. So...you can bake it now, would you?"

I quickly nodded as I pan the pizza into the oven...this could wait for a while. And I didn't noticed that it's already nightfall...

Elizabeth's POV:

Well...I'm finished my work...and now I'm standing here at the fountain. Decorated with lights, the water spewing out creates patterns of movement as it corresponds to the music playing from nearby. Now, where is the place where I could claim that supposed price that Kyle just won. Hmph! If that's just another hoax, I'm leaving.

"Umm...excuse me, are you Miss Elizabeth Lopez?" Suddenly, I girl with a long blonde hair came across me.

"Yes, why?"

"Your price is just near. Come, follow me."

I followed the girl in long blonde hair walking for just a few steps towards a truck...where I saw Kyle....talking to another girl!!!

"He-hey!!! What are you doing here?!?! Not to mention you're with someone!!!" I scolded him.

"Wait! I'm not dumping you. This is just my little sister, Alice."

Hmph! You're stinking lying. You're gonna break my nerves off!!!

"Mam, please! Kuya Kyle is telling the truth!" The girl with glasses then dragged a random guy from inside. "See, I have my own boyfriend! His name is Alex!"

As Alex waves to me and holds the Alice's hand, I'm starting to calm down. He really tells the truth, huh?

"Well, what the price that you won?"

"Here."

Alex simply puts the prize in front of us. It's a pizza, with random selection of toppings in it...hmm...not my type of pizza.

"Umm...I'm sorry but, I can't accept this prize."

"Please mam. Why don't you try this?" Alice pleas to me with a smile. "I know this is not your favorite pizza but, please try it. We know we could do better with your comments!"

Hmph! Whatever! Kyle and I get a slice of pizza of the same time...and when I take a bite.....

"CRUUUNCH!!!"

Huh? What's happening? I never tasted this crunchy pizza before! Not to mention that there is this blending flavors of ingredients mixing and bursting within my mouth: the sweetness of cheese, the tanginess of ham and pepperoni, and the distinct taste of mushrooms and vegetables. Aah...the taste is very relaxing!

Alice Flonne's POV:

"Umm...Lisa?"

"Hmm? Yes, Kyle?" Our pizza makes Elizabeth smile while she was asked by her boyfriend.

"Umm...I'm sorry if I can't wait for you lately. I'm really on guard of our sari-sari store. You know that our store is far away from our apartment so I didn't come home as early as I could. When I come home, you already fall asleep...you didn't bother to wake up and if you did, you won't talk to me. I'm sorry about that...but I'm guarding our store just to help you in your work...at least."

Elizabeth make a deep sigh and looked at Kyle...

"Well...I'm should be the one who should be apologize. I only been angry at you because I'm tired at work. I'm so stressed out so...ugh...I'm sorry. Look...since I don't have a work this weekend, how about we take turns guarding the store...you deserve a rest."

Kyle and Elizabeth hugged each other...and engaged into a series of random talks...from the Elizabeth's experience in her BPO company...to a random customers that passes by Kyle's store...well...that includes us.

And at the end of the conversation, and they finished our pizza, Kyle and Elizabeth looked unto us...

"Guys, thanks for bringing us together!" Lisa smiled at us. "We have some tough times together lately...and you already know what you should gonna do."

"Well...little detective sis, well done! You have solved another case." Kyle appreciated my efforts. "Now I really know how still good you are in solving one. Thanks, Alice!"

"But...Kuya Kyle, will you be able to come home?" I worriedly asked him. "I really missed you back then..."

"Don't worry, my little sis." Kyle patted my head. "I will do what ever it takes to come back home with Lisa. Just wait for me, okay?"

But I'm still worried about him...mmm...huh? What's this?

"Here! I will give you my phone number?" Kyle gave me the paper that Claire was written earlier. It now has my big brother's number. "If you ever have that feeling of longing, just call me okay?"

"Yes, big brother!" Then I hugged him tightly. "Thanks, Kyle. Take care of yourself!"

"Yes, Alice. I will." Then Kyle turned to Alex. "Then you, big man. Take care of my little sis. If I heard from her a single case of hurting her, get ready to be pounded by me!"

"Yes, Kyle. I understand!" Then the two boys make a hi-five.

Yaay! I finally found my brother! Yes, I'm now getting my long lost family back together...and I'm just getting started! Thanks to my friends Claire and Danica...and most especially, my only boyfriend Alex, I'm sure that I will find the others in no time!
