I breathe in and out, " Grammy, I know I've only known you for a day but, you can't let her beat you! You got this! Because... You're. The. Best! Now kill em out there!" I smile at his encouragement. He could really be a sweetheart. I smirk. No young whippersnapper is gonna beat this gold. I stood back up, and worked for gold!

Why do I ever love Sunday shopping... The cool breeze from the freezer... The sweet children running up and down the candy aisle... And I can't forget... The community board. You see, this supermarket is the only one I know of to have an active community board. I come here learly everyday to get the latest news... Of course I would use a computer or phone to get news on our city. But.... Since Haruto takes his laptop and phone to visit Kimi everyday... And Īsuta needs hers for school I'm left with the thing I know will never leave me, T&M Supermarket....

*!! Notice !! Superstore Closing Soon!!!*

Aww man... I really liked this place. I went up to a local worker and asked, "Excuse me dear... May I ask why this place is closing down...? And old soul like me love these places. Not to far in a location sense! And the community board! Think about how this makes us feel!" I tell him, he sweat dropped and said, "I know how you feel, trust me... I have this job and two others to help my family... Within this place shutting down, I have nowhere else to find job applications and this one's my highest paying..." He said, a little teary eyed. "Hmm! Okay, take me to your boss!" I said fermly in my strict, I'm-going-to-punish-you-if-you-don't-do-this voice. He nodded in understanding as we took the elevator to see his boss...

"Yes?" A strong male voice was heard. I saw his name tag. Manager Kim, it read. "I would like to discuss the closing of this store." I said, stronger and fiercer than he, he broke under my words. "Sorry, I don't make those decisions, please, allow me to take you to my boss. Taro, you can return to your dutys." Taro had nodded and left, whole I followed him to his boss. Which I could only assume the owner. I immediatly initiate the conversation, "What are you thinking?" I asked smiling, but, in a sinester sort of way... He sweat dropped, but, regained posture. "The company that I work for, they're under new management. They want to tear down all T&M Supermarkets in the country.. And build one giant one in the capital. They say the ones in the smaller cities won't make as much money as one is the middle of the capital." So it's money they're after. Should of known.

"What if I gave money to convince the higher ups to not close down our establishment." "W-what?! I don't know.." "Then ask. All I ask is to propose this idea to your bosses and let me do my magic." He looked at me in disbelief. "As you wish." And picked up his phone. I sat there and listened to what he said. "Boss, what can we do to stop closing?.... What? That wasn't what I had in mind, what if we... Raised money?.... You can't be serious, that's way to high!... Sorry.... Hmm, a little elder lady wants to do it.... What?! That's insanity!!!... My apologies, I'll tell her right away. Thank you for this chance... Yes, I know..." "So? What's the verdict?" He sighs "You can do it, but, you have to raise at least 50 000 000¥ by the end of the month." My hair covers my eyes, I then smirk. "Fine!" I yell out, smiling brightly that takes him by suprise. I eagerly shove my hand out to make it official. She sighed and reluctantly shook it. I wasn't going to loose a place like this, not like this at least!

"So that's what they were for!" I chuckled, as the black haired boy replied as playful and joyful as I was. "Yups!" He titled as his girlfriend, I think? Turned red in embarrassment. I smile at the lovely couple. What I remember him, my love... Oh how we used to walk the beaches together... Smiling as we kissed infront of the setting sun. It was the greatest thing ever. But, boy. I'm I glad he's gone. That cheating bastard had what was coming. Debt.

I sigh, but oh do I miss when he was so pure and true... His smile made every heart melt, no matter the age or gender. And oh do I ever miss Haruto and Īsuta, sure, I could go and visit them. But, they probably wouldn't enjoy a old woman like me to drag along their life forever. But, I realize... I only have a week left. I couldn't find a decent job because... Well, I'm quite retired and weak. I sigh once more, my eyes becoming watery as I look to the ground. I can't help but sniffle, I've lost so much. I don't know if I'm going to be able to bare another. That grocery store has been around since I was young, I can't stand to see everything crumble before me.. Not here, not now!

I peek over to the hallway for the washrooms, to see the delightful young man wait outside peacefully, smiling at nothing in particular as he closed in eyes, leaning agenst the wall. I walk over to him, a smile on my face, he seemed to hear my footsteps and looked over to me, smiling in glee. "Hey!" He told me, a bright and happy tone. I can't help but smile wider. "You did quite the nice act for your girlfriend you know". He immediately turned red, was he embarrassed by her? "Oh! Sorry! We're... Umm. Not dating. Just really great friends!" He chuckled, as red as a colouring crayon he was.

"Hmm? Of course, now dear. May I ask your name?" He immediately replied with, "Sorry! I'm quite rude aren't I! I'm Suzuki Shou! And you?" He asked politely, I chuckle at his energy but, his last name seemed familiar... " My name is Kaito Kuma. But please, call me Grammy." I said, as he nodded his head. "So anyways young man, I have something important to ask you." "Sure! Go ahead!" "Do you... Possibly know where I could make 50 000 000¥?" I asked, his faced turned pall at my sudden question. "Hmm? Why would a sweet old woman like you need so much yen?" He asked, incredibly confused at why I had asked what I had. I sigh, "Okay, it's a pretty long one so please listen up..."

"And that's why." I had just finished explaining my current situation. He seemed to be still, incredibly confused but, shook out of it and said. "I'm going to help you. I'm extremely sympathetic to your situation. I'm very sorry. But, we'll make that 50 000 000¥ and save that store!" I felt tears slid down my face. I was so happy, I can't believe he was going to help me. "Are you sure dear, although I absolutely adore you help... It's alot of money and a lot of work. We only met today and you want to help me..?" He smiled and squats down to my hight, wiping the tears and says, "I know, it seems impossible. But, I'm really feeling for you. I've never experienced loosing someone so dear, and I can't even imagine how horrible things might be. So, I gave myself a thought. What if I was you? And I realized, I wouldn't even have the guts to stand up and try to fight." I smiled, this was truly an angel sent from the hevans. I nod, let's get to work!

Me and Shou were standing infront of the community board I've grown so accustomed to. He treated it like finding an amazing treasure. He even found a letter from all the way back to when I was a kid. I chuckled, we standee there reading all kinds of things, until... "Oh! I found something!" Shou cried out, I immediately sprinted over to him. Looking at what he's found.

"Hello my wonderfuls! And welcome to the end season 9 of Rich Money Baking! Just before the absolute FINAL!~ I'm incredibly proud to say we have finally made it to the goal we set in season 4! 2 Billion viewers worldwide! -" Me and Shou had been listening to the host, it was our time. We had been battling it out in an all out baking tournament. We managed to bake through the competition, we were super lucky Sumiko knew how to bake! If it wasn't for the recipes she had told us, we would have never made it this far. So it all comes down to this, me and Shou agents another grandmother and her grandbaby. I was prepare stop take the prize no matter what it takes! "- And now bakers! Start your ovens... And may the best Baker... Win!" And we were off baking harder than any of us had ever baked in our entire lives.

- A while later...~ -

"And bakers! The winner is.... KATSUKO AND KEIKI!" The crowd burst out in applause, me and Shou looked at eachother and smiled. Tomorrow was due date... We walked over to them both of us smiled and bowed. "It was a pleasure to bake with you. We wish you all the best." We said respectfully. But, something was off. They were chuckling and wispering to eachother? What could possibly be so funny? "Hehe, sure. Hehe" they chuckled in a crude way. I wasn't liking this one bit. I sigh, I've made a habit out of this haven't I? And walk off stage. I felt incredibly disrespected, but then again... What could I say? Shou came up to me, concern showing on his face.

"Hey Grammy..." My eyes water, "I'm so sorry my boy. I had wasted a fortune on what I thought was possible! I'm so so sorry! I can't believe I made you put up with me! I'm sorry I accepted your help! And I'm sorry we didn't win!" I cried and cried, to the point I couldn't see anything. I heard Shou, he had replied with a sweet tone. "Grammy? Spent a fortune? I have no idea... Oh! The admition? That was nothing! But to be honest, I probably should have told you earlier.. Have you heard of Suzuki Corp.?" It hit me... Was he really?- "Nope! I'm not my dad. I've just been out of the spotlight for a really long while." He was, the next owner to the biggest company, in the WORLD! I was in awe. That's why he was able to pay. Wait... Does that mean...? "Am I in debt to you...?" I ask, sheepishly afraid of the answer. He blinked twice and giggled. "Oh no! Not at all! I actually had quite alot of fun! And, we had a chance! That's all we needed!" Not that he mentioned it, yeah. It was kinda fun. But, what am I supposed to do now?

And here I stood, I was the last line of defense agenst them. But, I blew it. I couldn't make enough. I grip the 8 500¥ I had made in the multiple other jobs I had taken the first three weeks. I open the door, why was it so dark in here? Where were the lights...? Then suddenly...

"Suprise!"

I had heard, what was going on? The lights came on and low and behold. Guess who I saw. The manager I had made a deal with, Shou, Sumiko, Kimi... And Haruto... "Haru-Haru!" I cried as I hugged him as tight as I could. He was smiling so brightly at me. What could this all be though? I pulled away from our embrace and looked around. There was a big banner with the word 'CONGRATULATIONS!' written on it. I had looked over to Shou. He was smiling so bright at me, what had happened. He was carrying a big breif case in his right hand. "Shou...? What is this? I didn't make enough...-" "Of course you did! With a little donation~" "H-had you paid for it all?" "Nope! They did!" He pointed to the window with the blinds covering it. Who could he be referencing.

I open the blinds and look out the window to see... Everyone. Everyone I had become close with over the years of our store. So many people filled the back parking lot, they were screaming something... I think it went something like 'Thank you'. Lots of them I didn't even recognize... "Congratulations Kaito-san. You did it. You saved us." I turn around smiling, shaking my head. "No, I didn't help at all... It was them and Shou. They saved the store." I said, but then the manager shook his head in turn. "Well, we don't actually have 50 000 000¥. We actually have 49 991 500¥ we need about 8 500¥ in order to save this place. I start to cry. I was so happy, Haruto and Kimi came over to comfort me. I told them I was okay, since they were tears of joy. I wiped my eyes and hand him the money that would save everything. Maybe, everything can un-crumble... Just maybe...
