After the match

It was the first match in the odi series and india had lost miserably. Rohit had gotten out on a 5 while playing his favorite pull shot. After that no one was able to stay longer other than Virat who had scored 76.

The dressing room was all gloomy and even though Rohit was very upset he had to be there for his team. "Guys it's ok it was a bad day for us we'll definitely bounce back stronger in the next match I believe in you guys." said Ro trying to pacify them even when he himself wasn't feeling any motivation.

Hearing this his teammates felt better bringing a small and hopeful smile on there faces. "Yes guys we'll try harder next time and the victory will be ours." added Vi giving an assuring smile.

Ro went to jassi who was still sulking and said "Jass bacche it's ok game hai chalta hai, it wasn't anyone's fault ok? Let's hit them with our best next time." Ro said and jassi hugged him tight to which he hugged tightly back patting his back and muttered almost inaudibly "No one but my fault." Just then Vi's phone ringed and he went out to pick it up.

"Chalo guys now fresh ho jao and rest some y'all need it." Said Ro to everyone in the room and everyone dispersed. He also went out to where Vi was talking on the phone.

"Mai abhi nikalta hu didi aap tension mat lo bilkul.....ha take care." Vi said in concern and turned around to see Ro. He broke down and leapt at ro hugging him tightly which confused ro.

"Vi shant shaant kya hua wo bata mujhe." Ro said in a soothing voice patting his back. "Ro.. wo na- wo maa.. unko heart...attack aaya- admit- kiya... hai." vi said between sobs.

Ro gasped but calmed down immediately for Vi's sake "Tu shaant ho ja pehle ok? Wo thik ho jayengi ha unko kuch nahi hoga. Mai humare liye flight book karta hu chal room mai bag pack karte hai." Ro booked the tickets and messaged mahi to come to there room.

Rohirat room

Mahi was packing Vi's bag and Ro was reassuring him that it will all be ok. When the bag was done mahi ordered a cab for him "Cheeku teri cab aa gayi hai. Zyada tension mat le ok sab thik ho jayega." Mahi said hugging him.

"Vi sun meri baat jaate wakt overthinking nahi karni hai and drop me a message as soon as you land. Hospital jaake text me with aunty's health update as soon as you can aur baaki to i know you'll handle it all." Ro said hugging vi tightly giving him all the warmth.

"Ha bhai ha ro I'll follow all your instructions don't worry." Vi said with a tight smile. "Bhai mai nahi hi ja sakta kya? Please jaane do na!" Ro asked for the hundredth time to mahi bhai pleadingly.

"Ro mai bhi jana chahta hu but we can't tu captain hai aur mai coach. We have the responsibilty of the whole team na, I promise we'll go as soon as we can ok?" Mahi said assuringly. They dropped vi till the cab and went to there respective rooms.

Ro was sitting alone on his bed all the nasty stuff about his performance coming to his mind. He tried really hard to resist but he couldn't, he took his phone and started scrolling twitter. He saw tweets calling him vadapav, unfit and an useless captain. One tweet said "This vadapav isn't even fit to play in the team isko captain banaya hi kyu hai?" while the other one said "King kohli ke baad ye kis ko captain bana diya hai management walo ne?"

One tweet even said "Is vadapav ne hi king ki captaincy cheeni hogi waise bhi skills to hai nahi." (I am sorry guys but these are real comments)

Reading all of these Ro's breathing fastened and he was finding it very hard to breath. Does Vi also think I snatched the captaincy from him? What if he does somewhere have that in his heart still? All of this was causing him to panic and he was on the verge of panic attack that's when someone knocked on the door but he wasn't able to mutter a word.

On receiving no answer the person opened the door which wasn't locked and gasped seeing Ro huddled on the floor and came rushing to him "Oh god Rohit are you ok?" said a panicked Ritika rubbing his back trying to calm him down which was failing miserably. "I guess you are having a panic attack Rohit." she said still trying to sooth him.

Seeing that he wasn't getting any better she pulled him to her in a hug making soothing sounds and saying "It's ok I am here with you you are ok everything is good." and sweet nothing along those line. He calmed down a bit and Ritika asked "Can you walk a little towards the bed please?" to which Ro nodded and they moved to the bed.

He was still breathing fast and the wheels in his brain were still moving fast thinking about everything and ritsy noticed that and held his face in her hands and said "Ro look in my eyes and stop thinking whatever you are thinking. I am here with you and everything is ok." This calmed him a bit and ritika made him lie down on the bed patting his head so that he could calm down.

After a while he fell asleep and in his sleep turned and kept his head on ritsy's lap which startled her but she kept caressing his hair and she realized how scared she was seeing Ro in that condition. How much he had started to affect her and how much he had crept under all her defenses. She kept caressing his hair until she also fell asleep having a smile on her face and a realisation that she feels something more for this gentleman. They looked picture perfect unknown to the problems they'll have to face. (Guess what it's gonna be)
