Guilt ate at me like it was a person that didn't eat in days. I should've realized that them siding with me would cause bad blood between them. I felt like an idiot for not realizing. I climbed back through the window, struggling a lot. It's hard doing things with only one arm and one good leg. I hopped back to my room, and everyone sat there, talking. They stared at me as I sat back onto the bed casually.
"Have you thought about it?" Zeus asked, looking at me pitifully.
"I will come back to camp, not permanently, only a week, after my leg heals and I get the leg therapy, which you guys also have to pay for." I ordered, my glare so sharp. I wasn't taking any other deal.
"He's gotten good at his negotiating." Athena smiled, looking at the others. The gods shared a look.
"You got yourself a deal. I'll go get the doctors." Zeus smiled, walking out.
"What are you going to do about your jobs? You think your acting position will stay after this injury?" Leo asked, and all the demigods that didn't know gave me an incredulous look. I shrugged at them.
"Probably not, or they will change up the movie completely, the crew likes me as an actor I guess, so instead of a movie about a teen running away, they could make him go through a horrible car crash or something. Shit, I should probably call my bosses." I said, rubbing my arm stun self consciously.
"Here's your phone." Malcolm said, handing it to me. I typed in the password (with a bit of trouble, I'm used to two hands) and went through my contacts.
"Percy! What happened last night?!" Vincent asked, shock and fear laced in his voice. "Why are the animatronics covered in blood and an arm in the office." He said.
"They all got into my office, Vincent, they were about to kill me, but I somehow survived." I said grimly.
"Are you alright?" He asked, but he sounded like he was about to throw up. I wasn't shocked, he found a blood arm on the floor in the office. Isn't the pizzeria opened right now?
"Not completely, I'll come over after my surgery. Were you the one that found my, um, you know?" I asked, clearing my throat. Everyone in the hospital room looked at me curiously.
"No, another worker did. I assumed they got you, stuffed you into a suit, but you calling just proved otherwise." He said.
"What do you mean stuff me in a suit?" I asked curiously, looking at my lap. Business calls can be so gruesome, especially when it came to dangerous jobs. Is that where the previous night guards have ended up? Was that why I found a bloody door handle? Is that was in that room of robots? I felt myself pale drastically.
"I know I shouldn't tell you, but I owe you this, that's what the animatronics do after they kill a night guard, they try to bring them back alive in the suits, but I don't know what happened for them to come back to life." Vincent explained, sighing heavily. Thoughts came racing to my mind like crazy, and I was worried.
"They said something about a toy.... killing them. A purple man. They said they didn't kill you because you were the original, you were there when the kids died." I said, mostly to myself, dread coming over me.
"Percy, what are you saying? You aren't speaking loud enough." Vincent said, but a growl was heard from him.
"You killed the kids, and stuffed them into the suits, to hide their bodies! You didn't expect them to come to life though!" I growled angrily, and all of the gods and demigods looked at me in shock.
"Percy Percy Percy, you weren't meant to find out, but you are smarter than you let on. I'll give you a chance though, you don't say anything about this to anyone, if you do, you will be the next one in the suit." He chuckled, and it sounded sinister.
"I'm coming back, for the job. No one else will find out." I said calmly, sighing.
"Good, I had a feeling you would say that." He said, hanging up. I was quick to put my phone away, and the others all gave me a look of bizarreness and shock.
"What!" Leo shouted at me, and I flinched.
"Leo, before you freak out at me, before anyone freaks out at me, relax. You all should know that I got something planned at this point." I said, calling my other job.
"Perseus! Where are you! Your late!" Adam shouted at me, angrily.
"Sir, I was in an accident, I'm currently in the hospital and I'm not sure if my condition will allow me to continue acting." I said, biting my cheek. I'll never get to watch the movie in theatres, or attend interviews or see fans, or any of that. While I may not like fame, I was excited for it all.
"What happened?" He asked curiously.
"I lost my arm, and my knee shattered, I may never use it properly again." I said, biting my cheek. Tears once again sprung to my eyes.
"Your the one that was in the dreadful accident at Freddy's pizzeria, weren't you? It's all over the news." He said, and I gulped nervously. They don't have my identity yet, luckily.
"Yeah."
"We could rewrite the movie and postpone it. I'll deliver the bad news to everyone else." Adam said sadly, hanging up.
A week later~
I walked into the pizzeria, and it was late, almost midnight. I had the surgery and I was left under the care of Leo and Malcolm. The gods were kind enough to buy me an apartment so I can heal quicker. Of course I'm using crutches, and I'm fine with that, at least I got an arm.
"I'm glad you came back, Perseus." Vincent smirked at me, I knew his secret, and he was completely fine with it, I swore not to tell anyone, and he won't kill me unless I break that promise.
"Me to." I said grimly.
"But may I ask, why do you keep coming back?" He asked curiously. It was now that I knew he killed them that his smile was cruel, and he always carried a knife, and his eyes flashed purple when he was mad.
"I'm addicted to this game, like the animatronics said, this is a game to them, and I'm the player." I said simply, looking at the robots. He nodded, and walked out.
