Impossibilities
Sky stared in horror. He hadn't seen that. He couldn't have seen that. his mind was playing tricks on him. How could that even happen? They were far away! She couldn't be here, she just couldn't. "I- It's not possible. I'm going crazy. Ross was right..."
The robotic voice wanted him to turn the light on again. He was numb, but he had to know. He had to be sure. Slowly, his fingers lightly brushed the blue, sunny button.
His eyes teared.
For the three shortest seconds in the world, he stood and stared. It was... He couldn't kid himself out of it, it was Aphmau. His own Aphmau. His Jess.
When he saw her, she looked like she was scared. Her scared expression was frozen by four metal plates that moved and clicked in the distance. Her ballet tutu was multiple shades of purple, and her hair was tied up in a bun. Her eyes were blue.
Then she vanished into darkness
Sky slammed a fist on the glass. "APHMAU!!"
Silence.
"Jess?"
Silence.
Sky barely listened to what the robotic voice was saying. It wanted him to check on the other animatronic. He tried the light button again. It didn't work. He pressed it and pressed it, but nothing happened.
He was angry. He didn't know how, but William had gotten his friends. He didn't care how. They were supposed to be on their peaceful camping trip.
This didn't look like a peaceful camping trip.
The name of the next auditorium, couldn't help but make him smile.
"This is the Fun-Time Auditorium, where Fun-Time Maxy encourages kids to play and share." Sky looked into the glass. If it really is Max, he' going to hate his new nickname. "Try the light. Let's see what Fun-Time Maxy is up to."
Sky stared into the black. Maybe if he looked hard enough, he could see... See Maxy without having to listen to the robotic helper. He couldn't.
He had to obey.
There was no one on stage. Max hoped that he would be. He hoped he wouldn't have to hurt his, potential friend.
He applied the electric shock.
Something. He saw something. It didn't look like Max.
As soon as the robotic voice would let him, he slammed his hand into the light button. They might all be here. Maybe it was just his imagination. There's no way Max would let someone call him Fun-Time Maxy.
But there was still no Max.
Sky began to worry. What if he was just making his furious friend more mad? He remembered what Max used to do before he had left.
He would get violent.
Sky stared with wide eyes into the auditorium. "I'm sorry Max. I'm coming." He gently slid his fingers down the glass, leaving three smudged finger prints.
"I'll save you, I promise. I'll save you and Jess if it takes the rest of my life."
Sky spun around and stared at the vent he came through. He swore he heard something. A clang, and a scratching of metal. He waited. It felt like spiders were crawling up his skin.
"Let's try another controlled shock." Sky jumped. He had forgotten what he was doing. He hovered his hand over the button not wanting to press it, but his nervousness got the best of him.
He delivered another controlled shock.
The next time he pressed the light, he saw him. He choked.
He was mostly black with an orange front and orange tail tip. He had shaded grey plates, and he was shaded with different greys. On the speaker on his chest was a light grey, barely visible Z. What Sky noticed the most was his tie.
It was a red bow tie, just like Ross's.
It didn't even appear to belong there. The rest of him was metal and cold, but the bow tie looked like fabric, and the red didn't match any of the other colours.
Then he disappeared into black. Sky knew he had to move on, but he couldn't. He promised to help Max and Aphmau, but he didn't know how.
"I'll be back tomorrow," he whispered as he left. The next vent was as cramped as the other one.
As he crawled he thought about what Ross and Ty had said before he left for his shift.
~Le Flashback brought to you by nothing in particular, except the fact that Sky is reminiscing about his amigos! ;D~
"That guy is so creepy. He's asking you to look after some creepy robots he's keeping in some creepy old secret lair. What are you thinking, Sky?!" Ross threw his hands up making wild gestures in the air. Adam just rolled his eyes.
Ty was standing behind Ross. "He has a point, Sky. Did William tell you the reason that Freddy Fazbear's closed down? You should ask him."
Adam shook his head. "You guys are so weird. I just have to press a couple buttons, and I'll be out. It's not like it's dangerous or anything." He picked up his bag and left for the door. Ross had left the room.
"Just, be careful, alright?" Ty looked Adam dead in the eye.
He rolled his eyes. "Meh, whatever. Tell Ross I said bye." And then he had left.
~Since Sky has stopped reminiscing about his friends, we can no longer have a flashback. My sincerest apologies! ;-) ~
Sky jumped, banging his head on the top of the ventilation shaft. "Motion trigger: Circus Gallery vent." The female robotic voice had startled Adam. He sincerely hoped it was him who set of the alarm.
Adam crawled out of the vent. "On the other side of the glass is Circus Baby's Auditorium." The night guard mentally sighed. It didn't sound like any of his friends, but of coarse, he had to be sure.
When he turned on the lights, he couldn't see the stage. He gulped.
