(Y/n's POV)

I grab Gregory and pick him up as I make a mad dash for the elevators.

Gregory: "Y/n!"

I made sure to keep my mouth shut since whatever I would say would sound like gibberish. I knew what I was saying, but Gregory wouldn't.

Rabbit Lady: "Why are you running, Mikey? You're supposed to help~!"

Gregory: "Y/n!"

I turn to see the rabbit lady chasing after me and Gregory. Thinking quickly, when I passed one of the baby strollers, I used my good leg and kicked it at the woman. It knocks her down to the ground and I laugh, turning around to keep running back to the elevators.

(Rabbit Lady's POV)

Okay, that hurt! What was that for, Mikey? We're supposed to be partners!

I shake my head and look up at the balcony to see Mikey and Gregory make it to the elevator. It opens up for them and Mikey turns to grin at me once before both he and the boy walk inside. It closes behind them and I grip my knife tightly.

Rabbit Lady: "Looks like we're playing hide-and-seek. I love that game~"

(Y/n's POV)

I grin at the rabbit lady once before walking into the elevator which closes behind us. I laugh in victory and set Gregory down on the floor.

Y/n: "!thgitlA"

I hive-five Gregory who smiles at me and then presses the button to get us to the next floor.

Gregory: "That was awesome! You have some crazy leg strength!"

Y/n: "?thgir ,wonk I"

Gregory smiles at me before a familiar voice speaks through the Fazwatch.

Freddy: *through Fazwatch* *glitchy* "Gregory... Y/n..."

Gregory: "Freddy! That rabbit lady found us!"

Freddy: *through Fazwatch* *glitchy* "If you get this message, come to Roxy Raceway entrance on the second floor. I piled up some boxes so you can hop over the construction fence and find me. Something is jamming my communications signal. Come to the Roxy Raceway..."

Gregory: "We hear you! On our way!"

The message ends and Gregory turns to me.

Gregory: "We have to help Freddy!"

Y/n: "!thgiR"

Gregory cringed at my voice and chuckled a bit.

Gregory: "We'll work on that later."

I chuckle as well and nod in agreement. My voice does indeed sound odd, and it sounds like I was speaking backwards, which was weird.

Gregory: "Hey, Y/n?"

I look down at Gregory again and give him my attention.

Gregory: "You said that that security guard's name was Vanessa, right? She also called you Michael. You know her?"

I nod. She was in that forgotten memory I remembered earlier. She even called me "boss", so I was probably higher up than her.

Gregory: "She called you Michael, and that rabbit lady called you something similar. Like a nickname. Do you know her?"

I furrow my brows in thought as I try to recall anything about this rabbit lady with a knife. Though something seemed familiar about her, nothing popped up into my head. I shake my head.

Gregory: "Well, she knows you. And so does Vanessa. Maybe your real name is Michael."

I shrug. Maybe it is.

Gregory: "Can I call you Michael since that could be your real name?"

I think about it. This entire time, Gregory has been calling me "Y/n". It would be weird if he started calling me Michael now. And there was something about the name that... bugged me for some reason. I shook my head no.

Gregory: "Oh. Okay, then. I guess it would be weird calling you that now, right?"

Y/n: ".pey.'

Gregory giggles at my odd speech again which makes me smile. He's a great kid. Then I realize that we're going to Roxy Raceway, a place Roxy might be. Would she be there? It would be nice to see her and talk to her, but what it she was going to attack me and Gregory? That would prove difficult.

The elevator door opens and the both of us go to step out, only to see...

Roxy: "Y'know, you're starting to become a real pain in my ass, punk."

I gasp and cover Gregory's ears with my hands.

Roxy: *confused*

Gregory: "Y/n, let me go. You cuss all tbe time."

Y/n: 'Fair point.'

I let go of Gregory's ears but push him behind me protectively so that Roxy wouldn't hurt him.

Roxy: "My beef isn't with him, it's with you, Y/n... Or are you called Michael? That's what Officer Vanessa said."

She remembered!

Gregory: "He prefers Y/n."

Roxy rolls her eyes before pointing at me.

Roxy: "Me. You. Talk. Now."

Gregory: "That's... gonna be a challenge."

Roxy: "And why is that?"

Gregory chuckles nervously and I open my mouth.

Y/n: "?uoy era ...woH .yxoR ,ayeH"

Roxy stares at me for a moment before speaking.

Roxy: "Why are you speaking like that?"

Gregory: "Vanessa tazed him and he talks like that now."

Roxy: "WHAT?!"

The wolf animatronic's sudden angry outburst catches both me and Gregory off-guard. We step back in surprise which Roxy notices and she corrects herself.

Roxy: "I-I mean, that's not right. Totally uncool."

Y/n: "?reilrae yrogerG dna em hctac ot gniyrt uoy t'nereW .won thgir ralop-ib laer gnieb er'uoY"

Roxy: "I still have no idea what you're saying."

This makes me chuckle along with Gregory, making Roxy growl and turn away as she crosses her arms. If I didn't know better and if she had the ability to do so, she was blushing.

Y/n: 'She's too cute for a punk rocker.'

Then another voice was heard nearby.

"Come on out, little guys! We're only trying to help."

Gregory: "Monty! He's gonna get us!"

Gregory holds on to me in fear and I look at Roxy. My eyes held everything that I was saying.

Roxy: "... tch! Get outta here."

Y/n and Gregory: "... ?tahw/what?"

Roxy: "Beat it, before Monty gets here!"

I stare at Roxy in shock for a moment before I nod and take Gregory by the hand. We then run off to where Roxy Raceway was, but I glance back at Roxy who was watching us and give her a grateful smile.

(Roxy's POV)

I watch as Y/n (or Michael) and that brat with him run off in the direction of my raceway. Then I see him smile at me, and the gears in my endoskeleton stop for only a moment before they return to moving. That smile... it was so nice.

Wait, what am I thinking?! Get your head back in the game! You may be letting him go for now, but he won't get away again! I'll snatch him up the next time we meet!

But... he's so nice. He and that brat haven't done anything wrong. Why do I have to hurt Y/n?

(Y/n's POV)

After running off from Roxy, me and Gregory make our way to the raceway. It looked like there were two tunnels and Gregory shined his flashlight down both of them.

Gregory: "Which one do we go down?"

I look down both of them before pointing at the right tunnel.

Gregory: "If you say so."

Gregory walks ahead of me since he has our only source of light and I follow close behind him. It was weird how the tunnels looked, but I guess they were the construction gates Freddy was talking about.

Gregory: "Hey, Y/n?"

I turn to look at Gregory who was looking up at me.

Gregory: "Why do you think Roxy let us go?"

I shrug my shoulders. I honestly didn't know why. It was weird. Other than the time earlier in the atrium, Roxy and Freddy have been the only ones that haven't tried to hurt me and Gregory. Why?

Gregory: "I think she likes you."

Y/n: "?tahW"

Gregory giggles at my voice again but repeats what he said.

Gregory: "I think Roxanne likes you."

I look at Gregory with a raised brow which told Gregory everything.

Gregory: "Oh, don't act like you don't know what liking someone is or looks like. Y'know, like love."

I spot a security bot and pull Gregory aside to hide from it. Then I felt my ears start to burn upon realization. Love? There's no way that's possible for Roxy. She's just a robot. A really advanced robot with a crazy AI. And a really interesting personality. And she looks great, too.

What am I going on about?

Gregory: "You like her, too! Your ears are burning red! Is that how you blush?"

Y/n: "...pu tuhS"

Gregory giggles mischievously and I roll my eyes. Then I grab the boy by his wrist and lead him forward to get through the tunnel. We went through some turns before finding a sliding mechanical door.

Gregory: "Guess this is where we go."

I nod and we walk up to it, and it slides up and open. We walk through the new passageway to find more construction gates and security bots.

Y/n: "...ragus ,hA"

Gregory: "Let's go before we get spotted."

I nod and the both of us run through the tunnels to find Freddy. Then we come across a wall of construction gates and I spotted a pile of boxes "conveniently" placed next to a small opening between a gate and the wall. I point at it for Gregory and he nods. He runs up to it and climbs the boxes before hopping on to the other side. I follow after him and make it to the other side.

Gregory: "Alright. Now let's find--"

Y/n: "!ydderF"

Gregory turns to to where I was looking to see a twitching body on the lower floor.

Gregory: "Freddy!"

He runs to the twitching Freddy and I'm right behind him as we run up to Freddy. Once we near him, he spots us and seemingly smiles as his body twitches and spasms.

Freddy: *glitchy* "There you are! I was so worried..."

Gregory: "What happened to you?"

Freddy: *glitchy* "I waited and waited for you two. I missed the hourly recharge and have been trying to get to Parts and Service. I think something is wrong."

Gregory: "Is there anything we can do?"

Frefdy: *glitchy* "Help me get to Parts and Service..."

Gregory: "Of course! How do we get there?"

Damn my inability to speak properly.

Freddy: *glitchy* "It is down under the main stage. Normally, the stage lift take me down after every concert. That is really the only way I know how. Use that door behind me. It will take you to the rehearsal room on tbe other side of the building. Look for a Backstage Pass, then find a way to turn on the lift."

Y/n: ".esimorp I .ydderF ,uoy evas ll'eW"

Freddy: *glitchy* "What happened to your voice?"

Gregory: "He got tazed. We'll make sure you get repaired in no time, Freddy."

Freddy: *glitchy* "Y/n... Please, take care of Gregory for me. Make sure he's safe. Protect my Superstar for me... please..."

Y/n: ". lliw I"

Freddy smiles as his body slowly stops spasming.

Freddy: *glitchy* "Thank you. Good luck, Superstars. Entering resst moooooode..."

And with that, Freddy's body went limp but his eyes stayed on. He wasn't dead, but in a state of rest, as if sleeping.

Gregory: "Don't worry, Freddy. We'll do our best." *turns to me* "Let's go."

I nod and follow the boy to the door in the back of the room. Gregory charges his flashlight before he goes through the door and I follow. It looked like some kind of storage area.

We walk through it with ease and we find ourselves at another door. Passing through it, we find ourselves at a much larger storage space.

Gregory: "How big is this place?"

I shrug but walk forward ahead of Gregory who walked behind me. The place was indeed huge. Then, after walking for a few moments...

Roxy: "Come on out, kid. We're only trying to help."

Me and Gregory freeze at Roxy's voice. What was she doing here? She's being real bi-polar right now.

I turn to Gregory and place my finger to my lips, telling him to be quiet which he nods to. He takes my hand and we carefully avoid the wolf animatronic. Though, when I glanced back at her from a corner, I saw her glancing over at me. But she seemed to have caught me glancing at her, because she turned and walked in the opposite direction. Did she actually like me?

Timeskip...

After a few more minutes of walking, me and Gregory find ourselves at a doof which I walk through first. I check around just in case there were any animatronics around, but nothing. So I motioned for Gregory to walk in as well.

Gregory: "Freddy said we can find a Backstage Pass around here somewhere..."

I nod and we split up to look around. There wasn't much. Just some chairs with the animatronics on them, a rehearsal state, and some props and whatnot. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

Gregory: "Y/n!"

I turn to see Gregory run up to me with a smile on his face and something purple in his hand.

Gregory: "I found the Backstage Pass! We should be able to find the lift controls now."

I smile and nod at Gregory and offer him a congratulatory fist bump. He happily accepts it and pounds his knuckles against mine with a smile, and then we simultaneously did the little explosion effect afterwards. We both laugh at that before we walk through some kind of gate and find a door. I motion with my head for Gregory to follow me and he does so.

We walk through a short hallway before coming to another door and we walk through it. On the other side was a long hallway filled with glass cases and even rooms. What was this place.

Gregory: "Rockstar Row? Now this is back to square one."

I look at Gregory with a raised brow which he notices.

Gregory: "I started here while you started in the atrium. This is where Freddy and I met... in his chest cavity. Don't question it."

Y/n: ".enif tub ,snoitseuq lareves evah I"

Gregory rolls his eyes playfully and he walks forward.

Gregory: "Come on! I know where we need to go!"

I follow right behind the boy and we arrive at a door with a scanner on it. Gregory holds up up Backstage Pass to it and the scanner beeps before the doors opens.

Gregory: "Come on."

He grabs my hand and pulls me along with him up some stairs to what appeared to be doors with symbols on them.

Y/n: "... driew"

We walk to the doors and they slide open for us. Then we walk into what looked to be the biggest security office I've seen all night. It was huge. Monitors were all around the place with some bigger ones on the walls next to the doors.

Gregory: "Look! A Security Freddy Head!"

I turn to where Gregory was pointing at and I ruffle his hair in appreciation. I walk up to it and press the squeaky button nose which opens the head. Inside was a Level Three Security Bradge. But there was something else underneath the Freddy head. I picked it up and saw that it was... a disk? Why was this here?

Gregory: "Wow. That looks super old. Why is that there?"

I shrug and an alarm suddenly goes off. The both of us look up to the ceiling in surprise before the monitors turn on to reveal...

Gregory: "Freddy!"

Freddy: *through monitor* "Gregory? Y/n? What did you do? Something happened. I can communicate again. I think you fixed my signal. Thank you."

Gregory: "We see you on the monitor. I didn't think you could stand up."

Freddy: *through monitor* "Consider it a second wind."

I hear some thumping coming from outside the door and I turn to the monitors on the walls to see Roxy and Monty.

Y/n: "!yrogerG"

He turns to where I was looking and panics as well.

Gregory: "Freddy! I see Roxy and Monty on the cameras. They're both coming to the office!"

Freddy: *through monitors* "Do not let them in. I do not know what Roxy will do, because Y/n is here, but Monty is dangerous. The security doors are equipped with electrical deterrents. If you see them banging on the doors, hit the appropriate button. The shock should stun them."

I looked a bit worried. How bad will it hurt Roxy? And Monty, of course, but my main focus is on Roxy for some reason. Dammit, Gregory. Why did you get the idea of love in my head?

Gregory: "Okay, but how do we get out of here?"

Freddy: *through monitors* "Do you see the large vent in the floor? You are probably standing right on top of it."

I look down at the floor and see that Freddy was correct. There was indeed a vent there.

Freddy: *through monitors* "If I can reach the room under you, I should be able to force it open and let you out. Wait... all the doors seem to be on lockdown. Hmm... Y/n, watch the doors. Gregory, look for me on the monitors. If you see me waving, push the button in front of the corresponding monitor to open the door."

Gregory: "Got it."

Freddy seems to smile, only for the screens to glitch and the rabbit lady appears.

Rabbit Lady: "There you are~ See you soon, Mikey!"

The screen glitches again and Freddy looks panicked.

Freddy: *through monitors* "Hurry! I cannot stop her!"

The screens glitch again and show separate rooms. Me and Gregory look at each other before nodding. I make sure to check the monitors on the walls and Gregory does the same for the ones that Freddy will appear on.

I see Monty banging on one door and I run to it before slamming my hand on the button next to it. I hear the sound of cackling electricity and Monty roars in pain before I hear footsteps leading away from the door. I smile in victory and Gregory's voice catches my attention.

Gregory: "Roxy's at the other door!"

My eyes widen and I turn to look at the monitor on the other wall. The wolf animatronic looks up at the camera and I quietly gasp when I see her purple eyes. That wasn't normal. Weren't her eyes a nice golden color?

I shake my head from those thoughts and tun to the door as Gregory runs to another monitor to let Freddy through a door. Once I make it to the security door, I raise my hand to slam it down on the button, but I stopped and hovered over it. Could I really do that to her?

I look back at the monitor and watch her as she continues to slam her body against the security door. I mentally begged her to stop so I didn't have to hurt her. I didn't want to, but I didn't know exactly why. I couldn't imagine doing that to her. She's been so nice to me and hasn't really tried to hurt me. But she wasn't leaving the door and she was trying to get to Gregory, so I had no choice. I slammed my hand on the button and I heard Roxy scream in pain as she was electrified. I cringed at the noise as I hear Roxy growl and I turn to look at the monitor to see her glaring at it with angry purple eyes before she runs off.

I sigh before I look back at the other monitor to see Monty trying to open one of the other doors. I groan and run over to that same to shock him. He cried out in pain before he runs off to try another door.

I turn to watch Gregory press a button next to a monitor and he smiles as he watches Freddy go through a door. Then I hear something running underneath us and both me and Gregory look down at the vent in the floor. Suddenly two big hands grab on to the vent and pull it off its hinges, and both Freddy and the vent fall to the floor.

Gregory and Y/n: "Freddy!/!ydderF"

Freddy: "Jump down!"

Gregory smiles and jumps down first and is caught by Freddy. I jump down after him and land almost perfectly, but thanks to my limping leg I fall to the ground.

Gregory: "Y/n!"

The boy runs up to me and helps me up which I smile gratefully at him for.

Y/n: "Thanks, little man." *to Freddy* "And thanks for coming to save us, Papa Bear."

Freddy: "You are welcome, Y/n. Wait a minute... You're voice!"

Gregory: "It's back to normal!"

Y/n: "Heheh. I guess so." *rubs throat* "I guess the tazer's effect has worn off."

Freddy: "That is most fortunate. We're you able to find the lift controls?"

Gregory: "....no, we didn't. I'm so sorry."

Y/n: "All there was was a security badge and this disk."

I take the disk out from my pocket and show it to Freddy. Then I realized that the bear animatronic was hunched over a bit and holding his "stomach" like someone who was genuinely injured. I felt so bad. He's just trying to help us. Why does he have to suffer?

Freddy: "There is no need to apologize. That is a program disk for the stage show. Follow me to the atrium. If you use it in the sound booth, you should be able to run a showtime program which will activate the lift."

Y/n: "Then lead the way, Papa Bear."

Freddy smiles and nods before he walks past me and Gregory and walks down a staircase. Me and Gregory look at each other and nod in unison before we follow him down, and further into the night.
