Trapped
As the brightness faded away, I was greeted with a room that seemed small, but that's not a bad thing when you've been stuck in an endless darkness. As I looked around, I saw some interesting things, including a tall dresser, a plastic purple fan, a closet, some toys, a giant bed, and two doors on opposite walls. It looked like a bedroom. Was it...MY bedroom?
I suddenly realized I was still holding the yellow teddy bear, who was still staring at me with a smile. It looked very weird, but it's the closest thing I have to a friend right now.
I then heard the laughing again. It sounded closer this time, as if it was right outside the door. I couldn't tell who was making the noise, though. It kinda sounded like someone big, but not like an adult big. No matter how old they were, it was still weird to hear.
I stood up and walked towards the bedroom door closest to the sound of the laugher. I tried jiggling the handle, but it didn't turn. I then pounded on the door.
"Hello?" I called out. My voice was pretty high-pitched, like a kid. Was I a kid? I think that would explain the room.
Still, nobody replied to my call. I banged the door again.
"Hello??" I called out again. Nothing.
I quickly ran to the other side of the room to the other door. I jiggled the handle on that, too. Locked. I banged the door again and continued to cry for help, but with nobody answering.
I felt the tears come back as I realized I was trapped in this bedroom! Nobody was helping me, and nobody seemed to even be aware of my existence! It was terrifying!
As I leaned against the wall and cried, I began asking what I did to deserve this. Was I a bad kid? Was somebody just trying to be mean? I really couldn't remember!
That's when I looked right next to the bed and saw it. A pile of toys, similar to the golden bear. I slowly walked towards them and looked. It looked like a brown bear with a black top hat, a dark blue bunny with a red guitar, a yellow chicken holding a pink cupcake, and some sort of red animal with a hooked hand and a missing head.
These guys must have meant something big to me, because when I saw them, I smiled a great big smile. Why? Because I remembered them! I remembered their names!
"Freddy!" I said with glee. "And Bonnie! And Chica! And Foxy!"
"You remember them?"
I looked at the yellow teddy bear, who had a look of surprise on his face.
"Of course," I told it. "These are my friends!"
The yellow bear smiled and nodded.
"Yes, they are!" It told me. "And I am, too!"
My smile went away as he said that. I wanted to believe him, but I couldn't remember who this yellow toy was. He looked like he belonged in this group, but who was he?
"Don't worry," It told me. "You'll remember soon enough."
I slowly nodded at it. I hoped he was right.
I heard the laugher outside of the room again. I ran towards the door and tried knocking again. Nobody replied. But that didn't stop me from trying to knock with all my might!
I kept knocking and screaming at the door until I just couldn't take it. I fell onto the floor and curled into a ball as the tears came out. I was still trapped in here. I was still not getting out.
"Don't worry," the bear told me. "Tomorrow is another day."
That's the last thing I remembered before everything went dark again.
