Prologue
Finally...
I got this damn prologue out.
I've been trying to do this for MONTHS.
Though one of the reasons this took a while is because I'm trying to learn how the 80s were so that it's a complete screwup chronological wise 😒.
*SIGH*
Anyways!
I finally got this out and I'm happy!
Maybe not so much on how I made this prologue. Pretty sure I made it jumped all over the place.
Oh, well.
But I need to make one announcement and this is important so I'm going to put it in caps.
DUE TO HOW ADVANCED THE FNAF WORLD SEEMS TO BE (AKA THE FULLY FUNCTIONAL ANIMATRONICS BECAUSE WE STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN THERE YET) THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME CHANGES WITH TECHNOLOGY IN THIS STORY.
MEANING THAT MUSIC WISE, CD PLAYERS (AND OBVIOUSLY CDS) HAVE ALREADY BEEN INVENTED. AND IN THIS SAME VEIN TVS ARE GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT MORE ADVANCED AS WELL. NOT LIKE THE TECH WE HAVE TODAY, BUT LIKE 10 YEARS AHEAD TECH.
MIGHT MAKE PHONES MORE ADVANCED THINKING ABOUT IT.
THE REASON I'M MENTIONING THIS IS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT ANYBODY COMING UP AND COMMENTING THINGS LIKE: "OH, BUT THIS ISN'T RIGHT!" "YOU DO REALIZE THIS IS THE 80S RIGHT?" "THIS IS TOO ADVANCED." "THIS IS-"
YOU GET THE PICTURE.
I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT.
UNLESS IT'S GIVING ADVICE OR HELPFUL CRITICISM. THAT'S OKAY.
SO, JUST LETTING YOU KNOW THERE WILL BE CHANGES THOUGH I WILL DO MY BEST TO MAKE SURE IT ISN'T GOING OVERBOARD.
THANK YOU ^_____^^_____^
I hope you guys enjoy this. I've been thinking about making this for a while but wasn't sure if I should or if I would be able to.
And as always, don't own the art/videos/gifs that may (or may not) show up in this story.
Thank you and hope you like.
Enjoy!
*VRRMM!!*
The sound of a car could be heard as a Ford Thunderbird could be seen on the road on this fine Friday. The music playing as the driver and the side passenger were happily chatting.
While in the back seats.
"Why did we have to move?"
A tan skin, auburn/red-brown haired, golden eyed girl sighed sadly.
(Grace Moon)
(Ignore the tail. I just realized it was there, but I don't feel like changing it -_-)
"Hija, I told you this already."
Her father, the driver, spoke up.
"I was given a promotion that was too good to pass up." He said. "And trust me, I think this move will be good for all of us. You'll make new friends and memories at our new place."
"But all of my friends and memories I've made were back in California!"
His daughter argued.
"We've lived in Cali for years!" She argued. "And now all of a sudden, you get a promotion and we have to move? Why couldn't I stay with a family member while you guys go to Utah?!"
"Grace, sweetie."
Her mom spoke up.
"I know it's tough having to leave a place you've called home for over a decade and were born in." She said gently, trying to calm her daughter. "But believe me, this will do you some good. Maybe you'll get more confident with others besides those inside your social circle. Who knows?"
She smiles mischievously as she turned to look at her daughter.
(Grace Moon)
"Maybe you'll find a boyfriend, Grace and give us some grandkids in the future."
She waggles her eyebrows playfully at her daughter's indignant face.
"MOM!!"
Grace shouted as her parents just laughed, causing her to sigh.
"How much longer?"
She forlornly asked.
Her parents frowned/sighed at her despondent question.
"About one more hour, Grace." Her father said. "And hija, please. I know it's not easy to move at such a young age and I know I'm asking for a lot. But this is a good thing for us. Trust me, you'll come to enjoy our new home."
"I'll...have to experience it myself to believe it."
Grace said.
"That's the spirit dear!"
Her mom said with a smile causing the girl to just sigh and grab her cassette player and plug in a tape. Listening to the music as she grabbed a book and began reading it. Eventually dozing off into a short sleep after a while.
"Wake up, Grace!"
Her mother voice jolted her out of her sleep.
"We're here!" She said. "We're just passing the city sign and getting into the city."
Grace took a side look at the sign as they began driving into the city inner walls. Her father and mother looking around impressed and pointing out attractions, and stores and the like. Until they finally reached their new place.
A two-story decent sized house with an equally decent sized landscape.
Grace's father parked the car in front of their garage and the family disembarked from the car. Grabbing the stuff they had brought with them as the rest had been sent earlier in the week to the house.
"It's beautiful."
Grace mom breathed out in amazement as she stared at their new house.
"Yeah, it is."
Grace father agreed. Looking at both the house and his wife.
Grace silently gagged.
'Gross. Lovey dovey stuff adult version.'
She thought to herself.
The house wasn't too bad, she supposed.
She thought to herself as she looks at the house. It had a decent front lawn. Hopefully, the backyard was a good size too hang out in.
"Hope there's some good places to hang out at."
She muttered to herself, her parents too busy marveling in awe at their new place.
...Was it just Grace imagination or was there a hint of red hanging in the sky of their new place?
Blinking, she rubbed her eyes and...yeah.
The sky is somehow redder here than back in California.
She wondered if she was seriously somehow seeing things and in need of glasses or if the sky was seriously looking red here?
Deciding it was just tiredness from the long car ride, she decided to just drop it for the time being and go to her new room.
"Oh!" Grace father suddenly spoke up. "Grace, dear. Before I forget, your new CD Player should be in your new room on the bed."
Oh?
"Finally!" Grace shouted. "I thought you were never going to deal with that! Guess, there is hope for you yet."
"Oh, come on!" Her dad groaned. "It was an accident! I didn't mean to step on the darn thing! When will you let it go?"
"I saved up my allowance for that thing. Only for you to step on it barely a week that I had it."
She reminded him.
"Of course, I'm going to be mad when I could have bought some nice clothes with that money!"
"I said I was sorry!"
He said, only for his wife to speak up.
"Dear, you do have to admit that you did pass it off like it was nothing."
She said.
"It's just a fad..." He weakly groans. "It's going to fade out eventually."
(...He's not wrong, but not in the way he's thinking)
"Drop it."
Grace mom deadpanned as she started grabbing the reminder of their luggage into the house.
"Just help me with the rest of the stuff so we can start getting settled in."
She said, causing him to groan.
"Fiiiiine..." He said. "It's the weekend anyways, don't go in until Monday."
"I still don't get what company here pays that well to have you move into a somewhat town/city like this."
Grace said as she grabbed her bags and went into the house. Leaving the door open for them to come inside.
"..."
"..."
"...She'll get used to it."
Grace mom said to her husband.
"She's just having a bit of a tough time adjusting to this."
"Is this teenage rebellion?"
Was all her husband said as they grabbed the rest of their stuff.
Meanwhile, with Grace.
*Bomf*
"Whew."
Grace said as she landed on top of her comfy bed, her new CD Player in hand. Her new bedroom was on the second floor while her parents bedroom was on the main floor.
Weird but whatever. At least there was a bathroom on the second floor just like the first floor. Meaning, she didn't have to walk downstairs if she had to go.
"Finally!"
She shouted.
"On an actual bed!"
She cheered as she rolled over and laid her back. Looking at her ceiling.
"..."
She said nothing and just laid there and had one hand outstretched as though she was trying to grab at the ceiling. While her other hand was under her head as she just sighs.
"Well...at least this pays so well I got my own tv in my room."
She admitted as she sat up and looked around. It was a decent size room with her desk, her vanity table, her boxes full of stuff aka memories.
Sighing, she put her headphones on and hit the play button on the CD player and laid back down in her previous position.
"..."
She said nothing as she continued to gaze at her ceiling, imagining it to be the stars in the night sky.
"Grace!"
Her mom yelled from downstairs.
"Come on down! Food is ready!"
Grace blinked as she looked at the clock and realized that it was getting late.
"How long was I staring at the ceiling?"
She said as she got up and headed downstairs for dinner. It was somewhat quiet, mainly because Grace parents were chatting between each other while Grace just ate her food. Still not really all that happy to be in an entirely new city and having to start over basically.
After dinner, Grace went to the bathroom, cleaned up, brush her teeth and changed into her pajamas and hit the bed. Reading a magazine for a bit before yawning and turning off the light.
-The next day-
"Phew!"
Grace exhaled a sigh of relief.
"Finally done!"
She said as she proudly looked around her room. It was something of a mixture of things that you would find in a girl room, but also unique with sports stuff like skateboarding and a baseball bat, and soccer equipment like a soccer ball and clothes.
Grabbing a book, she sat down on her bed and turned on the tv. Flipping through channels to see what was good and on.
Only stopping at a channel that was showing Star Wars IV: A New Hope.
"Awesome!"
Grace smiles as the movie begins.
In a galaxy, far, far away...
-...-
The weekend sped away fast. After leaving her parents to suffer putting the rest of the stuff away.
Her mom blames her dad on that one.
Her dad just grumbles.
"All because I accidentally stepped and broke her CD player and moved us away from L.A. to here."
He bemoans how mean his own daughter was and marveled at the fact that she actually could be mad and not quiet and shy like she usually was with people unless they were friends.
Grace just got everything ready for her first day at her new high school. Silently praying that it wasn't going to be a living nightmare just because she was the new girl who came from another state and city to their state and city.
'It'll probably be the usual cliché.' She thought to herself. 'New student coming to a new school. Not to mention new hot girl and add in the usual cliques and cliché and the like.'
She wasn't stupid, she knew she was beautiful if the freaking compliments and perverted remarks were anything to go by. But she wasn't stupid or God forbid, shallow.
She just hoped things wouldn't be so dramatic in this new life of hers.
Little did she know just how dramatic and insane being in this city would bring her. After all, this nice little city was not your average everyday city.
Taking a walk outside, she saw to her continued bewilderment that the sky still had that strange red light to it despite it being bright, clear, with blue skies.
Definitely not her imagination or a trick of the light.
Shaking her head, she decided not to let herself be bothered by it as she looked at her nails wondering if she should put nail paint on them or not.
"Let's hope tomorrow will not be too exciting."
She gives a soft smile as she looks at the window. Remembering the name of the city name.
Hurricane, Utah.
She didn't know it then, but the moment her father accepted that job promotion and moved them to Hurricane...
Was the moment that her life and several other lives were intertwined and forever changed.
And it all began with two men dreams and a pizzeria.
So let me ask you this...
Are you READY for Freddy?
Annnnd DONE!
That was exhausting, but I managed to do it.
Not much to say here, but I'm glad I got this out.
Have a good day/night!
