These three girls played a major part in FNAF: Redemption. But let's start with Elizabeth.

She was kinda born into a trashy family. The mom was okay but left suddenly without thinking about the kids. The dad was abusive verbally and physically. The older brother is just very distant. She wasn't dealt a great hand.

So it was stand to reason that she kept her childish nature throughout her time as Circus Baby because it's a coping mechanism. Even down to her last line in the series, "I'll make you proud Daddy." But that's not to say she didn't mature.

Whether or not Circus Baby is fully Elizabeth or not is really unknown, but I like to think of the "left behind souls" as shadows of their living self. Primal instincts. Not fully themselves and not fully machine.

So Circus Baby was a very manipulative person, regardless of how Elizabeth was in her living state. The whole "shadow" thing is kept consistent with the other two girls.

These two were definitely my favorite to write about. Cassidy and Charlotte "Charlie" Emily are two very contrasting people.

Both were more important victims of Afton, but both responded in entirely different ways to the scenario. Cassidy became angry and sociopathic(maybe she was a sociopath in her living years too?), where Charlie became more caring and compassionate. That's not to say she didn't hate Afton too, but there's a much bigger difference between the two girls.

I really liked writing them because those two have literally no true motive or backstory in the games at all, so making them 100% new people was very enjoyable.

I liked writing Cassidy the most because I like writing villains, but also just the fact that they're all still children, seeing a child act in a way so sadistic is kinda funny.
