Our group quickly made our way to the elevator. I lead, followed by Duo, Spider, and Nueve. We got there and I hit the card on the scanner. We needed to hurry. Only 5 hours left, and who knew how long the next room would take. We stuffed into the elevator, and Duo slammed his hand onto the down button. The elevator slowly descended into the depths of the ship.

After a minute, we were there. The four of us ran for the 6 door. I put my hand on the scanner, followed by Duo, then Spider, then Nueve. Nueve pulled the lever, and the door opened. I hopped into the new room, hoping to find the DEAD quickly.

Beep beep. The sound came from all nine of our bracelets at once. "We need to find the DEAD!" Spider yelled "Search the room!" The room that we had gone into was some kind of ballroom. Over on the far wall, I spotted a silver machine on the wall.

"There!" I yelled, pointing as I ran. There was the DEAD. I slammed my hand onto the panel, hoping that we'd all make it in time. Even though it was only the third time we had done this, I had already gotten used to being on the edge of death.

The next person who put their hand on the scanner was Spider. She panted, trying to catch her breath from running around. Third was Nueve, almost tripping over her skirt. Finally, Duo's hand touched down on the scanner. I pulled the lever and the beeping stopped. The skull images on our bracelets disappeared.

"I'll never get used to that," Duo panted.

"Same," said Nueve. "My old lady bones aren't cut out for this."

I took a look around the room we were standing in. It was some kind of ballroom. There were multiple chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, illuminating the room. There were assorted tables scattered throughout the room, and a cart that looked like one someone who was delivering room service would use. On the other end was a giant metal door, which seemed very out of place.
