Chapter six: They really could kill if they wanted to

Foxy tried to whipe off the crimson blood that seemed to blend into his red fur. Mike could just see me.
"RUN, KID!" Without hesitation, I ripped Foxy's red bandana off my head, then chuck it on the floor and ran faster than a gazelle on steroids! I need to find a place to hide. I dart into Pirate Cove -probably not one of my best ideas.

It's so dark in here, so dark I can hardly see. I feel around for a light switch and to my luck, found one. I flicked the switch and to my suprise, it didn't work. I feel my way around further and find a flashlight that an employee must have left. Some of the things in here look like they haven't seen light in years!

The first thing I noticed was the huge wooden ship that looked like it was disappearing into the floor and must've had kids climbing all over it. Between the masts was a hammock that looked like it wasn't originally there and just set up after the Cove went out of order. I see a wall covered with drawings done by toddlers in crayon about their fantastic day at Freddy Fazbear's pizza where they had drawn themselves holding hands with Foxy or waving toy weapons. It was sweet. My eyes rested on a couple of large treasure chests, some had pieces of children's costumes hanging out and foam swords whilst others were props for the show or Foxy's possessions. I can now see a large collection of wooden models the pirate had made, off cuts and assorted pieces strewn across the floor. There were several models of ships and a few animals; a bear, a rabbit, a Chicken and half a fox. Work in progress I guess. I found many pencils and drawing pads along with working guns that were once just props and a manakin that had been impaled by several real swords an daggers, each at the heart or head. There were lots of gun shots too. He's good. Then I spotted something rather disturbing... a paper guard badge on the manakin and a purple hat. I shake the thoughts out of my mind and continue searching for anything different. There was a tailcoat hanging in the corner, dust coating the shoulders. This coat looked like what your stereotypical pirate would wear, but it looked unfinished. That was when I spied the really old looking sewing machine. Wow, he really likes his crafts! I giggle as I spot the jars of gemstones, fools gold and of course... dirt! My thoughts are interrupted as someone enters the room.

I switch off the flashlight and hide behind the huge wooden pirate ship. I can see the fox's silhouette in the light seeping in through the open curtains. He's holding the red bandana. The curtains closed and the Cove is plunged back into darkness, sending shivers up my spine. I place my hand over my mouth to muffle my frightened breathing, but Foxy's hearing is all too acute.
