The sleek grey car came to a stop in front of Rosie's Diner. "This way, Maebeth." Al called to his student as he headed towards a staircase on the side of the building.

"Wait... I thought we were going in there." Mae replied, pointing to the front entrance.

"That's too obvious."

Mae shrugged. "Fine then." She strode over to the staircase. "Please tell me the party's not on the roof.

Alphonse said nothing.

"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING GET UP HERE!" a voice shouted from the rooftop.

"Well then. This'll be fun." Mae groaned.

Mae climbed onto the rooftop after Al. Spread out across the space was an assortment of food, tables, and people. The first people she recognized were Al's brother, Edward Elric and his wife, Winry. They had gotten married a few years ago.

"Hey Maebeth!" Winry said energetically. Mae waved back shyly. She was suddenly smothered as Ed gave her a crushing hug.

"Long time no see, short stuff." He said. Mae glared at him.

"Wasn't so long ago that you were this short." she retorted.

Ed laughed. "What's past is past. All that matters now is that everyone is here. Now let's get this party started!"
