Lydia's P.O.V.

I stared at the mirror looking at the imprint of his hand bruises onto my neck, wiping my tears away I walked out of the bathroom, I couldn't believe he almost...he almost killed me. I swear I had lost so much oxygen I thought that it was my last day on this earth."Dia?" Cassie whispered knocking on the door, it was half open as she peaked around it, "Can I come in?"

Giving her a quick nod I look out the window again, "Dia, I'm sure he didn't mean to"

"What?" I snapped cutting her off, "Choke me? When I was begging to breathe he was smirking in my face Cassidy," She looked away playing with her fingers, "I just accidentally bumped into him and he choked the fuck out of me."

"I'm sorry," Cassie said quietly grabbing my hand comfortingly, "I just don't know what to say."

"I'm sorry too," I sigh, "I shouldn't be taking my anger out on you. After everything, you are here, and... it's just the things he says. I don't want them to bug me, I don't want them to affect me so much but they do especially when Flynn says something against my baby."

Allie knocked on our door holding a tray in her hands along with Arya. "I brought hot chocolate."

Smiling I waved her in, "How did you know I was craving something sweet?"

Allie let out a deep breath, "I am so sorry Dia, Flynn is an asshole. He should have never laid his hands on you. I am sorry,"

Pulling her down on the bed I shake my head, "You have nothing to apologize for Allie,"

"No, but-"

"Alyssa," I say firmly, "Seriously, don't blame yourself."

She inhaled sharply, "There isn't much to say in his defense, and I don't want to speak in his defense either, but-" Allie wiped her tears away, "There is something I feel you should know...It will everything make much more sense."

Confused I was about to ask her to go on but my phone rang, "Go on Allie, I can answer-"

"No, go ahead I can't wait."

I wanted to push her but my phone kept on going off inhaling sharply I answered the phone, "Hello?"

"Lydia! Baby, are you okay? Are you safe?! Ow-!" I heard Mom scream over the phone my body froze, "Don't touch her!" Dad yelled, "Please,"

Allie looked at me concerned, "Put it on speaker,"

With shaky hands, I put the phone down in the center, "H-Hello?" I whispered, 

An evil chuckle filled my ears, "Hey Luna," Arlo...his voice sent chills down my spine. "Glad you could find the time to answer your phone otherwise I would have had to take other extreme measures."

My heart began beating out of my chest, "My mom...and dad are they with you?"

"Ding ding ding Luna, maybe Alpha didn't make the wrong choice accidentally knocking you up." He said, "Know let's see how much your smartness kicks in after I present you with a deal."

"A d-deal?" I stutter, Allie and Cassie, grab my hand in support. 

"Flynn in exchange for your parents, oh, and he comes alone." He snapped, "If he comes with anyone else your parents will pay for it."

Flynn... I looked up at Allie, she looked so stressed I couldn't ask her to send her brother to where Arlo was planning his death but...Mom and Dad who knows what the hell he is doing to them? 

"I'll only wait until 10:00 tonight, otherwise say goodbye to your precious mom and dad."

"Don't do it, Lydia, please!" Dad yelled through the phone, "Keep him away!"

"Shut the fuck up!" Logan said aggressively, "Cut the phone, Arlo,"

The loud beep hung in the room, tears streamed down my cheeks as a sob left my mouth, "Dia," Cassie whispered, "We'll figure something out we have an hour left."

Allie got up from the bed, "I'll tell Flynn,"

"Allie," I said between my sobs, "It's dangerous for him,"

"It's more dangerous for your parents Dia, we need to get them out, and...and when it comes to Flynn he can handle Logan, Landon, and Arlo by himself. Trust me."

"But Allie-"

"Everything is going to be fine, let me call Flynn,"

I had a really really bad feeling, after everything that happened this morning and now this phone call, Flynn going alone is so dangerous. I needed to have Mom and dad safe too, but something didn't feel right. 

Nothing has felt right since this morning and it scares me. 

Allie and Cassie had left the room leaving me alone Hunter begins kicking my stomach, "God Hunter, now is not the right time for you to breath the shit out of my internal organs." I groan, "Please Hunter,"

Holding on to my stomach I hold my breath trying to calm his kicking down, "Hunter, come on." I whine, I guess Hunter was feeling it too...I hope Flynn and my parents stay safe. 

Flynn's P.O.V.

"He is threatening her with her parents Flynn," Allie sighed over the phone, "He wants you to go alone, while he's there with Landon and Logan. It's dangerous,"

Slamming my hand against the steering wheel I groan out of frustration, maybe she was right, if I hadn't gone over there and threatened him, he wouldn't have touched her family. "Fuck, what the fuck!"

"I sent Brazen, Stefan, and Harlow out of the house again, they are coming towards your location Flynn. The main thing is we need to get her parent out of their safe. Arlo has been torturing them for the past couple of hours. He said he'll only wait until then, we only have thirty minutes left."

"How is she doing?" I ask cautiously, "I mean...the baby."

"You didn't seem to care about them earlier today when you were choking the fuck out of her." Allie snapped, "Just go fix your mistake Flynn, and please be careful."

Putting the car in drive I quickly take a U-turn back towards the house, "Tell her to call Arlo back and say Flynn will be there. The boys can hide a street away, Arlo is dumb when it comes to having his perimeter locked down. Don't worry Alyssa, I've handled it worse."

Cutting the phone on her I drifted in between the cars wanting to reach the warehouse as fast as I could, I needed to get there before more blood was added to my ledger, unwanted blood. 

Dad had always taught me to keep innocent people away from our business, the way he kept mom away...now it was my responsibility to keep Lydia away from it but Arlo is making it really hard right now. 

I can't even imagine what he has been doing to Liza and David. Stepping on the gas pedal harder I reach the warehouse a couple of miles away from his house, stepping out I walk over to the door as the guards smugly made way for me, "Good Luck Alpha, you're going to need it." Guard #1 said 

Rolling my eyes I flipped them off and walked inside of the warehouse, as soon as I stepped inside Liza and David looked up from their chairs, Liza was covered with whip marks and David looked beaten and bruised. 

"Flynn," Liza whispered barely able to keep her eyes open, David smiled at me, "We knew you would come, for Lydia."

"Really?" Logan said jumping out of the corner, "Because from what have heard over and over again, it isn't Flynn who wants the kid. Its Zane as an Heir, to carry on their blood."

Glaring at him I shook my head, "Shut the fuck up, Logan,"

"I don't see how you are in the position to negotiate Alpha," Arlo said walking out behind Liza and David holding a gun, "I mean, we have your hands tied."

Clenching my jaw I threw my gun down on the floor, "Let them go, you want me, not them."

"Would you look it that? The Alpha is all concerned for Luna's parents."

Luna? He called Lydia Luna. "She isn't the Luna Arlo, as for the deal. I am here."

"Fine, if you are insisting so much then I will let them go," Arlo reached down untying Liza first, "But we'll play a fun little game," He hissed holding her close to him and putting the gun to her head, "I'll say an amount of money and you will transfer it into my account before the count of three otherwise," Arlo pushed the gun into her head causing her to flinch. 

"Hey!" I snapped feeling helpless, "Stop being a pussy and hide behind a woman. If you want something come in front of me and say it."

"Watch your mouth," Logan snapped untying David holding him hostage too, "Otherwise,"

"Please," I scoffed, "You can even hurt a fucking dog, Logan, the last time you held a gun was when? Six months ago."

Landon glared at me before giving me a harsh push, "Watch your mouth Alpha, you wouldn't want innocent blood on your hands would you now?"
