Flynn's P.O.V.

I pace around outside of the room as Cassie watches me, "Did they hit her?" I ask

She shook her head, "I was out Flynn, Arlo, and his partners they hit me with their guns to convince her to go along with them. I got up when Arya and Allie arrived, I have no idea what they did to her or Banana."

I slide down the wall next to her, "Is it mine?"

Cassie looks at me shocked, "I-"

"Don't lie to me Cassidy, is the baby she's carrying mine?"

She looked away icing her neck, "Yeah, the baby is yours." She whispered, "She wanted to tell you as soon as she found out but when we came here you didn't recognize her, Lydia wanted you to be a part of Banana's life but life kept showing her sides of you she didn't want the baby to be apart of."

Confused I ask, "What?"

"A couple of months back...she was walking home from the corner store near her house, and she saw you kill someone. Flynn...from then on she has been hell-bent on keeping the baby away from you. She doesn't want Banana to be a part of this world you and your family have created."

When did she...does that mean she knew that I was a part of this...I mean everyone knows but she actually saw me. 

Clenching my jaw I looked away from her, "She's in more danger if she wanders around free with MY kid. I don't even remember when we hooked up..."

Rolling her eyes Cassie sighed, "Ask her yourself when she wakes up Flynn, I just hope that Banana is fine, she is fine."

I do too, not because I care about them, caring is just something that leads to a whole bunch of emotional shit that the Alpha should not have to deal with. That's what dad says. I want them to be okay so I can get some answers, so all this confusion can go away. 

"Cassie? Flynn..." My mom says walking out of the room smiling, 

"Is everything okay Flora?" Cassie asks,

"Everything is okay, the baby and the mom." A bright smile takes over Cassie's face. 

"Can I meet Dia? Please?" 

Mom shook her head, "No sweetie, she needs time to rest. Dr. Jazz and I are just running some extra tests, I just wanted to let you know that she is out of danger along with the baby."

"What about the paternity test mom?" 

Mom nodded, "That is going to be one of the tests we are doing," Gently rubbing Cassie's shoulder, "Go to sleep Cassie, you'll see her tomorrow morning."

"Um...which room should I go to?"

"Flynn here will  show you the guest room." 

Sighing I gently pushed Cassie in front of me, "Let's go. Don't worry she's in good hands."

"Oh wait, Cassie," Mom said stopping us, "Here are your medication for the concussion you have and the antibiotic for the cut on your leg."

"Thank you, Flora."

Mom smiled at her before disappearing into the room, "So what your mom is like your doctor whenever one of you gets injured?"

"Something like that," I responded, "My mom was a nurse before meeting my dad,"

"Kinda like you two," Cassie said smiling, "Dia, she's a nurse too and you are..."

I raised an eyebrow at her, "A gang leader?"

"A gang leader," She whispered looking away, 

Smiling slightly I pushed open the guest room door for her, "Make yourself at home,"

"Thank you, Flynn, seriously..." Cassie sighed looking up at me, "Dia and I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for you, so thank you."

"Go to sleep Cassie," I say before walking away. I didn't know how to react to her thanking me, I was never thanked, I was always hated on or yelled at. It was a weird but nice feeling. 

"Flynn!" Stefan said running towards me, "Uncle Zane, he wants to meet you in the office right now."

Groaning I nodd running behind him to Dad's office we both enter the room fast, everyone was there including some surprise guests, from our side there was Allie, Arya, Stefan, and Brazen, but then from the Cobras Harlow Salvatore was here smiling at me, and Echo Netherland from the Philler's was here.  "Hey Alpha," Harlow said walking over to me slapping my back in a brotherly way. "Hey, what a surprise," I say looking over at Dad who smiled at me. Now was not the time to call a meeting especially with Lydia lying in the medical room. Echo walked over to us hugging me, "What's up  Alpha,"

"Nothing, just surprise you two are here. What are you two doing here?"

Echo pulled away raising an eyebrow at me, "Uncle Zane here told us that the Hades Gang is raising back up, so Harlow and I thought you would need some help."

"Um..." I was so lost, I wanted to be happy that they were here but my mind kept wandering back to Lydia, "That's great, thank you."

Harlow looked at me suspiciously, "Is everything okay Flynn?"

Dad sighed, "We have another situation at the moment,"

Echo looked at him confused, "What situation?"

"Flynn might have gotten a girl pregnant, Lydia Jackson. She is lying in the medical room at the moment." Dad went on, "Flynn here is just a little distracted."

"Might?" Arya said stepping forward, "I thought Aunt Flora was taking the paternity test right now?"

Allie pulled her back beside her, "Shut up Arya," She snapped,

Echo smiled, "So when did you meet this Lydia girl? It's an upgrade from that mess over there?" She said motioning over at Arya who was turning red from anger. Everyone chuckled in the room other than Dad. 

"She's a one-night stand Echo, nothing other than that." I responded, "Dad... can I talk to you alone?"

Dad nodded sending everyone out of the room, slumping down in the chair in front of him I sighed, "If the baby is mine Dad what am I supposed to do?"

Dad got up from his chair to sit down beside me, "The bigger question is do you want the baby?"

"I don't know...I mean I can't ask her to abort it. Lydia knew it was mine for the past five months so obviously she wants to keep it. But it's too dangerous for her to be here, to be with me..."

"Flynn, I think it's time you let someone else in." Dad said, "You can keep both of them safe, just like how you have been keeping the family safe."

Clenching my jaw I shook my head, No...no I wouldn't get hurt again. I can't get hurt again. Taking a deep breath I shook my head, "I don't want it." I said firmly, "Tomorrow morning, we'll send her away."

I was about to leave but Dad stopped me, "Why do you think I called Echo and Harlow over Flynn? They will help us fight against Logan, Landon, and Arlo. Flynn...Lydia will always be in danger if we let her out of this house. Every Alpha needs an heir."

"What about her life? Her job? Her parents?"

Dad smirked, "They don't call you the Alpha for no reason Flynn, figure it out. But for now, I decide that Lydia and the baby will be safe here."

Storming out of the office I walked over to my room slamming the door shut. What was this feeling? Ten minutes ago I was worried for both of them, five minutes ago I was anxious about what was going to happen, and now? Now I wanted them gone. 

What the hell is going on with me?
