~the next day~

Harry pov

It's been one week sense the two Eraser attacks. Snape knows about my trip to the school including the Flock, White coats, and Erasers but he refused to tell Dumbledore and professor McGonagall. Dumbledore was still very curious every time he saw me in the hallway he would ask where I had been. I would just shrug him off and walk away.

Well life was pretty normal till Dumbledore got fired. Which might have kinda been Ron Hermione and I's fault. So Umbridge became headmistress. Which by the way was horable. Things kept getting worse and worse as the weeks went by. That is till I had a dream that Voldemort was torturing Sirius. At that I knew I had to act. So Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna, and I were going to rescue him. Ron, Hermione, and I were going into Umbridge to first see if Sirius was really missing. Well Kreatcher said that he had been kidnapped.

We were about to leave and find the others when Umbridge came in with the others being dragged in by her little posy. The others were thrown against the wall. Umbridge smiled "well Mr. Potter what were you doing in my office? A mission for Dumbledore maybe?"

"its none of your concern." I spat.

She smiled again "well Mr. Potter it looks like we're gonna have to use my other office to persuade you to tell me the truth."

Neville was scared "what other office?"

She smiled crookedly at him "wouldn't you like to know."

My head shot up towards "that voice." Hermione looked at me like I was crazy but I just glared at Umbridge. "it was you the whole time!" I tried to lunge at her but by this point Malfoy and the others had tied all our hands and feet together.

She snickered "well it took you long enough." She smiled.

"you'll never take me back!" I yelled.

She smiled even bigger "oh is that seriously why you think I have gone through the trouble of watching you all year Mr. Potter? Just to take you back to The School? No we want you for your DNA. Its very special you know. Winter phoenixes are very rare."

I struggled against my bonds as the others stared at me in confusion. "Harry what is she talking about?" Ginny asked.

I ignored her and focused on the white coat "so what are you planning on doing to me now? Back to the School?"

She laughed "no I think I'll just use my other office." From out of a secrete door an Eraser came out and grabbed me.

Malfoy and his gang ran out the other door screaming in terror of the Eraser.

A secret window opened and you could see inside. I started freaking out. I struggled against the Eraser trying to escape. He just threw me inside. And closed the door. it was a one way mirror so I couldn't see out but I banged on the door frantically. I started hypervenalating. I was in a cylindrical room like the ones at the school only this one wasn't tall enough for me to fly.

I heard the white coats voice over the intercom "well Mr. Potter I guess I don't see the harm in telling you who I really work for. You see the school Is a secret branch of the ministry that works out of America. And the ministry wants to know how Dumbledore is planning to over through them. You tell me what you were doing in my office and I won't do what you know is about to happen."

"I'll never tell you!" I spat.

"Very well then Mr. Potter. I did warn you." Right then water started rushing into the room.

I knew the others were watching what was happening so I tried to be brave. (yeah right I was about to go crazy.) I started kicking violently on the walls. I shot ice sickles at the wall but that did nothing. I would then run to the other side and then do the same thing. I would go to one end then with full force run at the other wall. That started to make a small dent but I wouldn't have enough time the water was rising fast.

I tried to freeze the water over like I did last time but they seemed to have learned their lesson. The water was heated. The water was up over my head now as I still franticly pounded on the walls. I was about to black out but that's when the water quickly rushed out of the room. I dropped to the floor coughing up water.

Umbridge spoke over the overhead "well Mr. Potter want to tell us Dumbledore plan yet?"

"cough never cough" I managed.

She sighed "very well then. Trust me I can do this all day." And with that more water flowed in.

This time I thought it would just be best to drown so then she would have to come in and get me. I would pretend to be dead but then I would jump her. I took in a deep breath expecting my lungs to be filled with water but they weren't. I could breath! I remember the rest of the flock had told me they all had the same ability but I just figured that I didn't. oh this was good.

I started t pound on the door even more now that I knew I would be able to breathe. I swam around the barriers of the room trying to find week spots. It had been about ten minutes. Umbridge was probably as surprised about my production of gills that was. Well I wasn't going to tell her that. I swam over to the mirror and could practically sense where she was. I smirked at her to show that I was just fine.

Then the water drained from the room. "how did you do that?!" she yelled.

I wrung my shirt out and shook the water out of my hair "well you should know. I mean its not like I did all this to myself!"I said smirking.

She scowled "what was Dumbledore's plan?!"

I shrugged my shoulders.

"Very well then." I could tell she was about to start the water again but I could hear Hermione stopped her.

"I know what Dumbledore's plan was!" she cried. I looked up at the mirror. What was she talking about?

"Do you know? Well then what was it?" she sneered.

"it's a weapon he kept in the forest." She said quickly.

Umbridge laughed "well then Mrs. Granger it looks like you me and Mr. Potter are going on a little field trip."

And Eraser came in it had an electrified pole in its hand. it shocked me in the back and my whole body started burning. It yanked me up by the arm and shocked me again in the back. "Alright alright I'm walking." I said irritated. It smiled and shocked me again and pushed me out of the room. "You're just no fun are you?" i silently pulled a coin out of my pocket and threw it at the far wall.

Out f reflex it looked over in that direction. That's when I took my chance. I jumped on top of it and we got in a full out battle. I got shocked by the pole a lot but with the adrenalin I could barley feel it. I finally was able to get on to its back. I put the palm of my hand to the back of its head. "If I were you fur face id be pretty scared." I said in a loud whisper.

It tried to throw me off but I held on for dear life. "I warned you." I formed an ice sickle in my hand and stabbed it in the neck. I got off its back to see Umbridge with her wand to Ginny's neck.

I quickly brought up the palm of my hand and pointed it at her. She shook her head smiling "I wouldn't do that if I were you. I would hate to see what would happen if you missed." She took Ginny's face and squeezed it. I sighed and lowered my hand. "good choice. Now you and mars granger are going to take me to this weapon."

Hermione stared at me slightly nodding her head. "ok" I said.

she smiled. In my mind I was thinking of ways I could attack her. She could tell that was what i was thinking so from a different door came another Eraser holding a neck color. I backed into a wall terrified. That collar was probably my least favorite thing about the School. "no! We won't take you if you even think about-"she jabbed Ginny again in the neck with her wand. I could never fight off her and the Eraser before one of my friends got hurt.

I was still terrified but I sighed and let the a Eraser put the collar on me. the moment it touched my neck a shock went through my body. This was much worse than the electrified poles. My knees buckled out from underneath me. the Eraser yanked me up to my feet. I raised my hand up and tried to form an ice sickle. I couldn't, I stared at my hand in disbelief. She just laughed "no powers for you Mr. potter. We've learned our lesson sense last time."

I glared at Umbridge "all right now let her go." I said forcefully.

She smirked "oh Mr. Potter you aren't the one giving orders hear." She pressed a button on her remote and my knees buckled again. This shock was much more intense then the last one, she let it go on for I few seconds. When it finally stopped I got up and smelled burning flesh. I glared at her but this time made sure not to say anything. She grinned "well now that that's out of the way. Your little friends are going to stay here. Don't worry I'll leave them some company. "She gestured to the Eraser who grinned.

"If you lay one finger on any of my friends I swear-"I spat at the Eraser but was interrupted by another shock. This wasn't as bad so I didn't fall over but my neck felt like it was on fire. I glared at it again then fallowed Umbridge and Hermione out the door.

~the forbidden forest~

Hermione kept leading Umbridge and I deeper into the forest. She was in front, then me, and then finally Umbridge brought up the rear. Ounce when I put my hand into my pocket she shocked me cause she thought I was reaching for something. We had walked in silence the rest of the way however with my enhanced hearing I could Hermione's silent sniffles. She was terrified.

We kept walking a ways when Hermione just stopped. I rose my eyebrow a her. I had no idea what she was planning on doing but I hope she had a pretty good idea cause we had to get going if we were going to save Sirius. "it's right here." She told Umbridge. She pushed me out of her way into a tree so she could get a better look.

"I don't see anything. This was a trick!" she yelled at Hermione. "And just for trying to trick me girl-"she turned the knob all the way to its highest setting. I fell over onto the ground in pain. I had never felt the full charge before. It was the most excruciating pain I had ever been. I could feel the skin burning and my blood boiling. I could vaguely see some kind of struggle happing in front of me put it was all black till finally the pain stopped.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw that Umbridge had dropped her remote. I then also saw that the valley was full of centaurs. I then realized right in front of me was Hermione. Her mouth was moving but I couldn't here cause my ears were ringing. She finally mouthed very slowly "are – you – ok?"

I slowly sat up and the world stopped spinning "jeez Hermione what kind of question is that?" I asked sarcastically.

She gave me a big hug "I thought you had died!"

I scoffed "who me?" I said smiling.

She helped me to my feet. The centaurs were currently having there fun with Umbridge. With my arm around Hermione's shoulder I limped over and picked up the remote. I pressed a button and a small key popped out of one end. I shoved the key into the lock of the collar. It fell off from my neck onto the ground. I then stomped on it with full force, which to Hermione's obvious surprise broke it completely in half.

I held out the palm of my hand and snowflakes flew up. I smiled at Umbridge who was being held by a center and looked completely terrified. "I got my powers back." I said in a taunting way. I unwrapped my arm from Hermione and walked over to her. "if I were you I would be pretty scared." I said face to face with her.

She tried to escape the centaur but he just held tighter. She then glared at the centaur "you're a freaks! You human horse hybrid things! Why do you think the ministry made the school? It was so we could learn how human hybrids were created so then maybe we could exterminate them!" she then turned to me "and you're the worst of all of them! I created you! Your just a mutant freak!"

Oh she'd done it now I waved m hand in front of her. Around her wrists and ankles hand cuffs made of ice bound her. The centaur let her go and she fell over on the ground. I bent down so I was face to face with her "your calling us the freaks?" I gestured to myself and the centaurs "have you looked in a mirror recently? We might be mutants but at least we don't kidnap innocent children, cause them extreme pain, and mutate them just so we can kill other mutants. You do realize what your doing is just making mutations happen more often. If any of those mutants, as you so kindly call us, ever grow up and have children then there's another generation of mutants." I spat.

She laughed "oh so that's it? Your planning on growing up and having a family? Get real! Who would ever want to be around a freak like you?! You know I'm right or else you would have already told your little friends!"

I took a step back. Was she right? I hadn't told my friends because I thought they wouldn't accept me. was Umbridge right? At that moment someone put their hand on my shoulder. I had completely forgotten Hermione was here. "Harry no matter what we all will always be your friends." I smiled.

I looked down at Umbridge who was still on the ground. "you heard her ill be excepted because my friends love me. Who's going to except you when you've devoted your whole to hurting people?" I turned to the centaurs "have fun boys" and with that Hermione and I walked away.
