Finally!
It's the first day of sophomore year!
I literally scarfed down my breakfast and went to the high school.
"Hello everyone!" I shouted.
Macie was already there and she was waiting for me.
"Hey Macie! Not only is it the first day of school, in two more days, it's my sixteenth birthday!"
She laughs.
"I know! We share a birthday! Duh!"
I instantly realized something.
"It's Kenzie's birthday today!"
Macie just rolled her eyes.
"And? I don't really like her."
I sighed. Macie was my best friend but sometimes I didn't like how she was. But I couldn't say anything.
"Well, you don't have to like her. But she's my friend just like you are."
The bell rang and everyone lined up at the main entrance to go inside.
My first class was history with Mr. Hall.
I smile and go to his classroom.
Alot of people were in there and I was a tiny bit nervous.
I began to wish that Kenzie was here because she was a year older than me and she could tell me how to survive this class.
I sat down in the desk in the back of class and took out my binder.
I couldn't believe it really. I already wanted to get out of school and it was just the beginning of first hour.
I then saw my friend Trinity. I smiled.
"Hey Trinity."
"Hi Kaylen."
That was all she said. I laid my head down on the desk and sighed.
This was going to be a long year.
A very long year.
